About 10 minutes later, Allie shows up at Charity's apartment complex. She basically breaks down the door as she starts looking frantically for her brother and Charity. She looks into Charity's room. She has seen it a few times. She opens the door and sees her brother and Charity. She rushes to them and checks their vitals. They're okay but she has to act quickly. She picks both of them up and basically rushes down the stairs but not before shutting Charity's apartment door. She doesn't even bother getting into her car she just runs faster than any car on the road and runs all the way to the hospital. 

She gets them checked in and she catches her breath as they are taken away for medical attention. She pulls out her phone and calls Cameron. "You have the private phone number of Cameron Placebo. This is Cameron Placebo speaking." Cameron says. "Come on Cam you know who this is. I'm one of the only 2 people who have this phone number." Cameron chuckles slightly. "I know but I always say that if it's someone calling me by accident. Anyways, What's up? You know I'm halfway to California right now." Allie nods to herself. "Yes, I know but I thought I should let you know Pure is in the hospital again. His energy system is shocked and it caused him to go to the hospital. Charity is in the hospital too. From what I understand the shock hurt her and it made her go under." Cameron nods to himself. "I see, Well thanks for telling me. When Pure wakes up tell him I said hello and I hope he recovers fast." Allie smiles to herself. "I will, Thanks, Cam. I'll call you another time." Cameron chuckles slightly. "I'll be looking forward to that. Bye." With that Cameron hangs up the phone. Allie puts her phone back in her pocket and sits down in the lobby to wait for any info on her brother.

30 minutes later...

Pure's eyes open slowly and he blinks a few times as his eyes adjust to the brightness of the white room. His eyes move left to right as he takes in the scene. He moves his hand in front of his eyes and he barely recognizes it as his arm. He touches his head where sparks start to happen. An image of Charity flashes in his mind. His eyes widen and they start to regain their color. Another image of Charity flashes in his mind. She has her eyes closed and she's smiling. His eyes start to produce tears as he sits up and his long white hair flops. He starts to get up out of bed but he grabs onto the rack that is holding Iv fluid. He stands up and starts to walk slowly. He has a limp. "Char...I...ty...." He says weakly as the door opens for him and he starts to walk out with a determined look. 

(Okay so I just wanted to make an SAO reference to when Kirito woke up and I really didn't want to make a story about Pure and Charity trapped in SAO but maybe I will and I can totally make this reference again. Anyways, back to the story.)

He stumbles his way looking into rooms to find her. His eyes are readjusting like cameras and his mind is starting to work again and his walking becomes stronger and his body is starting to act normal again. He keeps walking an eventually abandons the Iv stand and takes it out of his body. He keeps looking around and he makes his way towards the elevator. He looks out the window that's near it. He sees all the traffic and the cars that are in the parking lot. "Sir?" Pure looks behind him and it's a nurse. "Are you okay? You shouldn't be out of bed." Pure nods his head. 

"I'm fine but I need you to tell me where someone is. I know they are here because I came here with them." 

"Well, if you take a rest in your room Mr. Placebo and probably get dressed in your normal clothes I'll help you the best I can."

Pure's eyebrow raised. "How do you know my name? I've never met you as far as I know." The nurse smiles slightly. "I was about to come to see you because I'm the nurse assigned to your room. We got a notification that your iv plug and monitor was taken off your body. You look to be in perfect health like nothing ever happened to you." Pure laughs slightly. "I have a tendency to get right back up after I've been pushed down. Even by myself. The only thing I have to worry about is those I want to protect. If I get hurt I hurt those who hurt me back. If I die? Well, I'll just walk it off as long as I can protect those I need. Now, Where is Charity Quinn?" The nurse looks at her clipboard and is reading down the names. "Charity... Yeah, she's on the floor under here and room 204. But, put some clothes on. I'm sure she wouldn't want to see you in a hospital robe." Pure nods and is walked back to his room by the nurse. "I never got your name nurse." Pure says on the walk back. "My name is Esta. Esta Droquez." Pure raises an eyebrow as he is putting his shirt on as they are in the room now. "Esta? That's quite the name." The nurse laughs. "Says you. You're the one with the name Pure." Pure laughs slightly as he is putting on the rest of his clothes. "Well, it was nice getting to meet you, Esta. I hope I don't end up here anytime soon again. If so I hope I get you as a nurse again. You seem chill." Esta blushes and nods. "Of course, I'll be looking forward to that. Well, go to see Charity. You seem persistent." Pure nods and walks out of the room and towards the elevator. He clicks on the elevator button. He waits patiently as the door opens and he walks in and clicks on the 12th-floor button. The door closes and it starts to go down. He barely feels the difference in gravity as he goes down.

The doors open and he starts his journey to room 204. He stands outside the door and takes a deep breath in and out. He grabs the door handle but something in his system is triggered. He can sense danger in the room. His eyes start to glow engaging his fight system. He opens the door and enters the room cautiously his fist sparking. He turns the corner and sees no one in there but Charity asleep. His body starts to calm and he looks confused. His body usually never does that unless it was true. He looks around the room and he is sensing something. He pulls out his phone and calls Cameron. "Who is this? Stop calling this number!" Cam says. Pure chuckles. "Hey bro." Cameron is surprised. "Pure? I thought you were in the hospital are you out now?" Pure nods to himself. "Yeah, bro. So question for you. Do you know how many cameras are in his hospital? Also if there is any in Room 204?" Cameron 'hmmm's to himself. "Well, I do keep tabs on where you are so let me see. Uhhh, In the hospital there are roughly 100 cameras or so. It is a big hospital but there is only one in Room 204. Why do you ask?" Pure looks at the corners where there are two cameras. "Because there are two in here. Which one is linked to the hospital?" Cameron looks at the blueprints. "The one in the far right corner. What do you think the other one means?" Pure looks at the false camera. "I think there is a certain corporation trying to spy on me and her. Thanks, Cam." Cam smiles to himself. "No problem brother. I hope you guys recover well." Pure smiles. "See ya." Cameron returns the favor. Pure hangs up. 

"You fucking bastards." He says staring into the camera. "Did you try to get rid of my memories? Did you try to take her away from me? That was your game plan? Wow, you guys are a lot more naive than I put you out to be at first. I thought you would've learned by now. I'm always 1 step ahead. You may have tripped me up this time and I'll give you some recognition for that but that's all you're getting. Stay away from the people who are under my protection or I'll make sure that the FPC burns to the ground quicker than I already planned to. You have my word on that." Pure then jumps up and punches the camera off the wall and effectively breaks it. Pure then goes and sits down in a chair that he pulls up next to Charity and grabs her hand. "This must've how you sat by my bedside when I was knocked out for a month. I never wanted you to get hurt but in the end, it was me who hurt you." Pure sighs to himself. "It was never your fault. It was mine for not listening to you sooner. I should've never doubted you. I guess I just didn't want to get hurt again. I take so much pain in life yet the greatest pain I ever felt was losing you." Pure laughs slightly. "This reminds me of a song. I know I sing a lot but I hope you enjoy my songs." Pure pulls out his phone and pulls up the song and starts to sing along to Haunt U by Lil Peep. (Start music video now.)

Pure smiles as he finishes out and kisses Charity's hand. "I love you Charity and as long as my body can still go. I will be here to protect you. I will never leave your side ever again. No one can take me from you. I think you can have this back." Pure grabs a necklace on his neck. It's the steampunk key to his heart. "You deserve this better than anyone. It was always yours and I was a fool to take it from you." Pure puts it in her hand and he lays back in the chair still holding her hand and gently falls asleep.

(What's up my dudes? Pure Placebo here. Well, It's been a long time since the quarantine started and I haven't had a lot of time to write because I'm trying to survive and I haven't seen Charity in person since the quarantine which is fair. We do facetime each other a lot so that's good. So yeah, It's been a while and I thought I mind as well get this chapter out. I'll keep trying guys. This quarantine was ideal for me to write but life is just as busy as ever. I guess I tricked myself into that false security. Anyways, I'll see you all soon hopefully. Pure Placebo Out!)
