* Michael's POV*

Sydnei hasn't been the same since, Migo died.

I think its the fact that finding out that your father killed your mother, you resented him for so long that you didn't know that he killed her in order to save you. Now he's gone and you feel so gulity.

We are sitting in the front row of the church; me, Sydnei, Chloe, Shali, Edwin and baby Kylie.

Chloe is holding Kylie because Sydnei is so far gone, and I have to make sure that she doesn't go crazy.

I have a surprise for her, it may not bring her father back but it should lift up her spirits some.

"Amen and amen. Now we going to have a song from someone special. Brother MIchael Jackson can you come on up and sing for the church." The pastor says clapping, causing the chruch to stand and clap, even the kids start clapping.

Sydnei looks over at me with sad confused face.

"What are you doing?" She asks worried.

"You will see" I say kissing her cheek and walking up to the stage.

I shake hands with the pastor and he hands me the mic.

"ehmm Good morning church"

"Good morning" they all say

"It is a sad that we all have lost someone special to us, it is very sad for me because Miguel grew to become a very good friend to me"

I pause to gather myself

"I-I loved Miguel like a brother, I didn't have a brother in my life and when Miguel came in the picture he fit right in." I wipe a tear from my eye.

I see Sydnei has tears in her eyes looking directly into mine.

"Sydnei, Chloe, Shali, and Edwin, just know that even tho your father has gone home, don't ever think that he has left you. He will always be with you. He made me make a promise to protect and care for you and that's what I intend to do." I say shedding more tears

I look out and see the church in tears as well.

"I want to sing a song that means alot to me, and it is the perfect song for Miguel."

I clear my throat and get myself together.

" Like a comet,

Blazing cross the evening sky,

Gone to soon.

Like a rainbow

Fading in the twinkling of an eye,

Gone to so-oon."

I continue to sing but my voice starts to break, I'm trying to fight my sobs.

Sydnei gets up and walks over to me and holds me while I try to continue.

The church stands and claps and humms while I sing.

"Gone too Sooooonnnnn"

I finish, turn to Sydnei and cry my eyes out, she hugs me so tight and cries with me.

The church stands and claps for me and Sydnei.

I look over to Miguel's casket and see him lying there and I think he is smiling.

We go back to our seats, and the pastor came back up, wiping his eyes with a towel he had hanging on his shoulders.

"Brother Jackson, that was beautiful." He said

"Come on" Sydnei said grabbing my hand and walking to the back of the church.

We waited til the door was closed.

"Michael?" She said

I looked at her

"That was so beautiful, why didn't you tell me you could sing??" she smiled lightly

"Do you really think that a killer would tell you that he can sing, was that even that important??" I said

"Yes it was important, and don't talk about you being a killer here in the church." She said about to walk away from me.

I grabbed her arm and swung her around until she was wrapped up in my arms.

"Michael stop"

"Sydnei let's not do this here, look I'm sorry I never told you, I just didn't but I do love you please don't be mad at me at your fathers funeral." I said with puppy dog eyes

"Oh whatever" she says trying to get loose.

"Hey" I say

"What??" She looks back at me

"I love you Smiley"

"Yea yea I love you too Smelly" she says walking away
