**
Heather packed a pink overnight suitcase. She looked at herself in the mirror at every angle. She wore a red, mid-length dress with ribbons as shoulder straps and a slit down the left side. Heather saw the dress while shopping for Valentine's Day things the other day and bought it because she felt confident in it. She held Alejandro's gift in a small red bag. Heather took one step toward the door and stopped in her tracks. Should I show him my dress before I come over? Just in case he doesn't like it? Anxiety bubbled up in her stomach. She hadn't worn anything like this around Alejandro yet, and she knew they were going out in public.
Using her reflection in the mirror, Heather took a picture of the entire dress. She hesitated before sending it to Alejandro with the caption: How does this look for a night like this? Oh my god, maybe I shouldn't have done that, she thought. He's gonna think I'm stupid for asking him that. Of course I shouldn't be wearing this! It's ridiculous! It's revealing! It's—
Heather's phone buzzed with Alejandro's reply: I think you look breathtaking, as always, but are YOU comfortable in it?
Heather furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. She read his text over and over again. The nausea building in her stomach dissipated, and she struggled to come up with a response. Heather didn't plan for this. She planned for him to point out something that he didn't like or lecture her about what to wear in public. Heather bit her lip as she texted back: Yeah, I love this dress, but is it appropriate for going out in public? She watched her phone with anticipation.
Alejandro: What do you mean? Is it about the weather? It is a bit cold outside, but you can wear a coat until we get inside, no?
Heather: No, it's not that. I meant is it too revealing?
Alejandro: Heather, all that matters is that you are comfortable. Nobody else's opinion on that dress means a thing. You look so beautiful in red♥️
Heather blushed. She smiled as she text back: Thank you. I'll be there in a few.
Alejandro: I can't wait😘
Heather found herself giggling like a shy schoolgirl. She put her phone down and spun around in front of the mirror, checking out her hair. A red sequined butterfly clip held her dark locks up in a twisted bun.
Before leaving, Heather retrieved her dark red lipstick from the bottom of her bra drawer in her dresser. She hid it there because she told Chandler she had gotten rid of it in the past. Chandler never liked Heather's red lipstick. He thought it was "too sexy," so he yelled at her to throw it away. Heather refused to because she had spent a lot on it.
Heather applied the lipstick. Alejandro likes me in red. He thinks I'm beautiful when I feel confident. She walked downstairs with butterflies in her stomach. For once, she was excited to show her boyfriend her outfit.
"Where are you going this time?" Heather's mother asked with an exasperated sigh.
"I'm going out with my boyfriend," Heather answered, grabbing her little black purse from the hangers near the front door.
"Your—WHAT?"
"I said, I'm going out with my boyfriend, mom."
"Since when did you get another boyfriend?! You just broke up with Chandler!" Her mom snapped.
Heather pretended it didn't bother her that her mom brought him up again. "Mom, I broke up with Chandler over three months ago."
"Well, yeah, maybe. But we just had to go through the whole court case thing a little over a week ago! That's way too soon for you to move on! How long have you been dating this new guy?" Her mother's voice was condescending.
"I've been with Alejandro since December 19th," Heather said.
"Yep, I was right. That's way too soon to start a new relationship."
Heather scoffed. "You know, I was worried about that at first, too. But—I'm not worried about that anymore because we're not making any promises to each other."
"So it's friends with benefits and you're sugarcoating it?" Her mom tittered.
"No! He's my boyfriend! And he'd hate you," Heather glared.
"Ooh, I'm so scared."
Heather rolled her eyes. "I'm leaving. I may be back tomorrow, I may not. But I'll be back at some point." She made her way toward the door.
Her mother clenched her jaw. "I hope you never come back, you spoiled little bitch!" Heather walked out the door, taking deep breaths. She got in her car and pressed the ignition button. It'll be ok. You'll be with Alejandro in just a few minutes. She shook with anger as she drove. I have nowhere to go. I can't live with Courtney or Alejandro. I can't put that on them. They're already always worried about me. I don't want to make them frustrated with me.
*Flashback*
Heather slammed the door. She had gotten into a huge fight with her mother about which college she'd be attending after her high school graduation. She walked to a nearby trail and sat on a bench. She called Chandler, tears forming in her eyes.
"Hey, baby," Chandler answered over the phone.
"Chandler," Heather sniveled. "Can you come pick me up? I'm sitting at the trailhead near my house."
"Why? What's wrong?"
"I—my mom and I had another fight."
Chandler sighed. "Again? This is the third time this week, Heather."
"I know," Heather said. "But it's not my fault. She always starts it! She's an instigator!"
"Heather, I know your mom is bitchy, but I have a life, too. I can't waste my time making you feel better. There has to be someone other than me that you can call," said Chandler.
Heather's jaw dropped. "Wait, are you serious right now?"
"Yes. This shit is seriously draining," he lied. "I already have enough of my own problems. You should talk to someone who can actually stand to hear about this shit all the time."
Tears rolled down Heather's cheeks. "I help you with all of your problems, no matter how draining they are!"
"You think my problems are draining?" Chandler asked.
"Well—yeah," Heather admitted. "You take it out on me, and then you expect me to stay strong for you!"
"Whoa, don't have an attitude with me," Chandler responded lowly. "I don't even bother you that much with my problems."
"You talk about them every single time we hang out, and that's fine, but if I ever dared to say that I'm feeling down, you'd get angry!" argued Heather.
"We're done talking about this," Chandler said.
"No, we're not!" Heather snapped back.
Chandler laughed sarcastically. "I'm not arguing with you anymore. I said what I said." Heather kicked her feet on the ground, frustrated. She felt like she never got her feelings out when she was with Chandler because he'd stonewall her like this. "I'm not going to come to pick you up. You can just talk to your dad about it or something."
"M-My dad's out of town as usual!" Heather sobbed.
"Then find someone. I'm tired of you clinging to me like a fucking tick."
"I'm not..." Heather sighed in defeat, wiping her tears. "You told me you'd always be there for me."
"And I am always there for you. Quite literally," Chandler said. "I'm sick of it. It's the same shit with you all the damn time!"
"Fine!" Heather swallowed back more tears. "Fine. I won't talk to you about this anymore."
"Good, because I'm tired of helping you. Next time, make sure I'm in a good mood before you dump all your problems on me. I can only carry so much weight on my shoulders, Heather." Chandler hung up.
Heather shakily put down her phone. She had no one to go to. Chandler was the only one she felt like she could count on, and now he was mad at her. She cursed at herself that day. Ever since then, she was hesitant to share her feelings with Chandler.
*End of flashback*
Alejandro could hardly keep his eyes on the road as he drove himself and Heather to the restaurant they were meeting Duncan and Courtney at. "So," Heather began. "Courtney's getting her way with this double date," she shuddered.
"Why do you think double dates are cliché?" Alejandro laughed.
"Because," Heather grimaced. "One person always ends up not liking someone."
"What do you mean?" Asked Alejandro, grabbing her hand.
Heather sighed. "I mean, like, the boyfriends don't like each other or their girlfriend's friends. Especially their girlfriend's friends."
"Did—he not like Courtney?" He frowned.
"Yeah," Heather muttered. Alejandro rubbed her hand. "He made sure to remind me every time we hung out with them. And it wasn't just because he didn't like her. He'd try to convince me to not be friends with her. And—then he started telling me that she cares about Duncan more than me, so I stupidly believed that until she told me otherwise at court last week."
Alejandro angrily shook his head. "He is such a liar," he growled. "I hope that no woman ever entertains his ludicrous games. You will always have people here for you, Heather. I'm here for you, Courtney's here for you, and both of my parents are here for you."
"Did you tell your parents everything?" Heather asked worriedly.
"No, no," Alejandro reassured. "Of course, not. But I did tell them that I had to go to court to defend you against your ex."
She sighed. "—Fine. That's fine. I just don't want them knowing everything."
"They don't. Do not worry, preciosa," Alejandro told her. "I won't tell anyone what you've told me. It stays between us."
Heather let out a relieved breath. She knew she put so much trust in Alejandro for a reason. Heather looked to her left. "I see you loved your Valentine's Day gift," she smirked, referring to the silver Rolex watch around Alejandro's wrist.
"And I see you loved yours," Alejandro smirked back, glancing at the chain around Heather's neck.
"I do love it," Heather whispered, clasping the ruby gem between her index finger and thumb. "And it happens to match perfectly with my dress. Don't tell me you were spying on me, Alejandro," she teased.
"Not spying. I just know my girlfriend," Alejandro smiled.
"I know you wanted that watch since that day we went window shopping last month," said Heather.
"You got that exact one?"
"Yeah," Heather nodded.
Alejandro looked at her with adoration, then reluctantly averted his eyes back to the road. "Eres tan amable. You are so sweet."
"Ugh, Alejandro," she blushed. "It's not that big of a deal."
"It is to me, mi ángel. I love that you remembered that."
"Of course I remembered it. You remember stuff that I like."
"I know, but it's still so sweet how you think of me when we're not around each other," Alejandro said. "It blows my mind. And I think about you all the time too. It's insane. You have no idea how much I think about you."
"Alejandro," Heather giggled, flustered. "That's totally normal when you're with someone."
Alejandro pulled up to the restaurant and into the parking lot. "I know, but I kid you not; no woman has ever taken up this much space in my mind before. I just thought you should know how much you mean to me."
Heather's lips curled up into a loving smile. She unbuckled her seatbelt. "Well, handsome, you mean a lot to me too." She leaned over the armrest and kissed his cheek. "I think we have this conversation every other day."
Alejandro cupped her face. "I know, and I should stop because you obviously get it by now."
Heather kissed his lips. "But what if I don't want you to stop?"
Alejandro pecked her lips back. "Mmm, I need to write you a poem. I'll read it in Spanish, then English. Spanish is a very romantic language, you know."
"You're—beyond ridiculous," Heather laughed.
"Ridiculously charming."
"Let's get out of the car. And leave your ego here, dork."
Alejandro chuckled. "As you wish, gorgeous."
Heather and Alejandro got out of the car. Before Alejandro could speak to the hostess, Heather saw Courtney waving them down at a table in the far-left corner. Heather smiled nervously. "Come on, they're over here." She led Alejandro by his hand.
"Hi, you two!" Courtney beamed. "Heather, you look gorgeous!"
Heather smiled. "Thanks. I love your outfit, too." Courtney was wearing a glittery purple romper. Alejandro and Heather sat down.
"Where did you get that necklace?" Courtney asked. "I've never seen you wear that before!"
"Oh," Heather touched her necklace. "Alejandro gave it to me today." She blushed.
Courtney raised her eyebrows. "He gave that to you? I hope it was as expensive as it looks."
"Courtney," Heather groaned, embarrassed. Duncan cringed, stifling laughter.
Alejandro awkwardly cleared his throat. "I love spoiling my angel."
"Good." Courtney took a sip of her lemon water. "She deserves it. I wish Duncan would do this more often." She eyed her boyfriend.
Duncan snickered. "Oh, I spoil you plenty, princess. Remember that night at the drive-in movie?"
"I'm kidding, Dunkie," Courtney giggled, planting a chaste kiss on his cheek. "He's spoiled me the entire two-and-a-half years we've been together." She ruffled his hair.
Duncan pouted. "Not the mohawk!"
"Sorry."
"She's not sorry," he whispered to Alejandro." Courtney nudged him in the arm. Alejandro watched the two in amusement.
"Sorry. They're always like this," Heather told Alejandro. Duncan stuck out his tongue at her. "Ew, since when did you get a tongue piercing?!" Heather grimaced.
"I got it a couple of weeks ago." He showed it to her again just to bother her.
"Stop that! Courtney, why would you want to kiss that?!"
"Because he's handsome! I bet you'd stay with Alejandro even if he got his tongue pierced!" said Courtney. I'd never do such an atrocious thing! Alejandro thought but wisely kept to himself.
"Alejandro wouldn't do that," Heather argued. "He actually has a sense of fashion."
"Courtney, Heather's insulting me again," Duncan told his girlfriend.
"Why do I have to be a mother to you two?!" Courtney facepalmed.
"Oh god, don't give Duncan a reason to call—" Heather cut herself off.
Duncan furrowed his unibrow. "A reason to what?"
"Nothing."
Alejandro laughed. "Courtney, how long have you had to deal with these—children?" He smirked at Heather, who pouted at him.
"Way too long," Courtney giggled. "But I wouldn't trade them for the world. I love them both. I make time for them both. And if I'm angry with them, I let them know." She kept eyeing Alejandro.
"Courtney, what are you getting at?" Asked Heather.
"What?" She looked at her innocently. "Nothing! I'm just talking about how much I love and value my best friend and boyfriend! Alejandro, do you value my best friend too?"
"Absolutely. No questions asked," Alejandro answered in confidence.
"I hope you show her that you do instead of just talking about it."
"Courtney, please stop. Whatever you're doing, just stop it," said Heather. Before Courtney could answer, the waitress came by and took their orders.
Once she left, Duncan looked at a painting of a group of people dancing on the wall. "Hey Heather, the guy with the mustache looks just like you. The resemblance is uncanny!" He cackled. Heather glanced at the portrait and kicked his leg from under the table. Duncan kicked her back.
"Ow!!" Heather glared. "Asshole! You'll leave here with a broken shin if you don't stop!"
Courtney sighed in annoyance. "What now?! Heather and Duncan, you better stop!"
"He started this whole thing!" Heather said.
"But she made it worse!" Duncan argued.
"Let's get to know ALEJANDRO instead of fighting, ok, sweetie?" Courtney cooed to Duncan. "That's what we're here for, right?"
Duncan paused. "—Yeah. Yeah, you're right. That's exactly what we're here for! I'll ignore the annoying mosquito in the room."
Heather kicked him again. "Watch it, vandal!"
"ANYWAYS," Courtney said sharply. "Back to Heather's boyfriend. So, Alejandro, why do you like Heather?"
Heather's face went red. "C-Can you ask normal questions?!"
"I like Heather because she is very funny, intelligent, beautiful, and she is fun to talk to. I could go on," replied Alejandro.
"Alejandro," Heather grabbed his hand. "You don't have to answer these questions. My friend is just being super weird tonight!" She gave Courtney a vexed look.
"I am fine with answering every question," Alejandro shrugged. "It's no big deal."
"But she's treating this like an interrogation!"
"I am not!" Courtney snapped. "I just need to know the kind of guy my best friend's dating."
Throughout the dinner, Courtney kept studying Alejandro. She watched the way he ate, his posture, and his mannerisms, and she carefully listened to his choice of words when he spoke. Heather noticed it all. She couldn't even enjoy her meal. She feared that Alejandro was uncomfortable and this would scare him away or make him frustrated with her somehow. When they finished eating, Heather was quick to tell Courtney that she needed to talk to her in private.
Courtney followed her friend into the bathroom. Heather looked around to make sure no one else was in there. "What's up, bestie?" Courtney asked.
Heather looked at her sarcastically. "What's up? Really? You know exactly what's up!"
"—No, I don't. Please clarify." She nervously played with the ends of her hair.
Heather scoffed, resting her hands on her hips. "You're obviously hiding something, but I'll tell you anyway. You were looking at Alejandro all night like he just committed a crime!"
Courtney sighed in defeat, slumping her shoulders. "Heather...I promise I wasn't trying to embarrass you. The only reason I was doing that was—I wanted to see if there were any red flags. I didn't see them when we were in high school with—him, and I want to make sure that you're safe. Heath, I don't want that to ever happen to you again." Her eyes watered.
Heather stared at her, stupefied. "Wait, you—Courtney, you don't have to worry about me!"
"Yes, I do! Heather, you were in a seriously abusive relationship for over two years, and I didn't notice!" Courtney replied harshly. "None of us noticed!! He was—so good at hiding it," she choked out. "I could have never guessed it for the majority of the time!" Courtney placed her hands on Heather's shoulders. "I don't want Alejandro to do the same things to you. Please, please tell me if he says or does something that hurts you. Please."
"—Ok, I will," Heather whispered. She bit her tongue to keep from crying. Just when she was getting comfortable with the idea that Alejandro treated her well, fear crept back into her mind. I've only been with him for about two months. How do I know what he'll be like next month? Or even next year?
Courtney pulled her into a hug. "Duncan and I actually planned to do this together during the date tonight, but Duncan didn't help much," she laughed, trying to make light of the situation.
"You didn't have to do that, though. I promise, I will tell you if something goes wrong," said Heather. "And I promised you that at the New Years' party too. You don't have to worry."
"I know. I trust you, but I can't help it. Who knows what someone could say to you to make you keep it a secret?"
"Courtney, I think—I know. I know that Alejandro cares about me. He gives me way more time than he has, and he makes sure I'm comfortable with everything."
"I hope he continues to do that," Courtney said. "For as long as you still want him."
"I definitely don't want to break up with him anytime soon," Heather blushed. "We're kind of just—I don't know," she giggled. "We're not promising forever or anything like that. I think that kind of promise is stupid."
"Maybe," Courtney frowned. "But I think eventually, it won't work if your feelings for each other become strong enough.
"I'm not gonna worry about the future right now," Heather told her. "I've already stressed about it enough. Now is all that matters."
"If that's what works for you, then I support it." Courtney smiled at her best friend. "Let's go back out before the guys think we're gossiping about them."
Heather laughed. "Yeah, good idea."
Duncan and Courtney paid for dinner. Alejandro and Heather thanked them before walking out to the parking lot. "So, do you think I passed Courtney's test?" Alejandro asked as he and Heather got in his car.
"What?" Heather blinked.
"Do you think that Courtney thinks I'm good enough for you?" He chuckled. "I noticed all those questions. She wasn't very subtle about it."
Heather giggled, relieved that Alejandro could handle it. "Yes, I think you did. She was just worried about me. Don't take anything personally."
"Oh, trust me. I won't. I get it. Your friends adore you. They want to make sure you're safe," Alejandro said softly.
"Yeah, they do," Heather replied. "I feel safe with you."
"I'm glad, hermosa. And please let me know if that ever changes."
She smiled. "I will."
When Heather and Alejandro got back to Alejandro's house, Heather went through her overnight bag. She pulled out a travel-sized version of the shampoo she had at home and her cherry-scented body wash. She also got out a bottle of her birth control pills. "Is it ok if I put these in your room before I take a shower?" Heather asked Alejandro.
"Of course! You can put your entire suitcase in my room, hermosa," he said.
"Thanks."
"Anytime."
Heather carried her suitcase upstairs and sat it at the end of Alejandro's bed. She put her pills on his nightstand so she'd remember to take them before bed. She smirked to herself when she remembered why she took these pills. She and Alejandro were sexually active at least once a week now, and they were slacking lately because of schoolwork. She turned around to go back downstairs when Alejandro walked into the room. "I can get the shower started for you if you want," he said.
"Hm, actually," Heather walked closer to him. "I think taking a bath would be better." She wrapped her arms around his neck. "And I think I want you in it with me." She tangled her fingers in his hair.
"Yeah?" Alejandro smirked, rubbing her lower back.
"Yeah." Heather nodded. She nuzzled her nose with his.
"How long has it been? About two weeks?" Alejandro groaned.
"Mmm, yeah," Heather replied breathily. She began planting sensual kisses down his neck. Alejandro fondled her butt, and she did the same with his abs.
"I better get that bathwater started right now if we want to get to that point," Alejandro said.
Heather laughed. "Yeah, probably a good idea."
Alejandro jogged into the bathroom and turned on the faucet. He made sure the water was nice and hot for both of them. He took off his shirt as he did so. Heather slid off her dress, leaving it on the bathroom floor. She turned around. "Help me with my bra?" She asked Alejandro teasingly.
"More than happy to." Alejandro gently unhooked her red bra and ran his hands down her shoulders as he slid the straps down. He kissed her back and shoulder blades. "Do I have your consent for everything this time, mi reina?"
Heather sighed. "Alejandro, we talked about this last time. You have consent every time unless it's taken away."
"I know, sorry. I'm getting used to it. I don't want to hurt you."
Heather spun around. She pressed her breasts against his bare chest. "Shut up. You won't hurt me."
"I love that attitude, señorita." Alejandro kissed her collarbone and traveled down to her boobs. Heather panted as he sucked on her nipples. Alejandro gently rubbed her through her underwear at the same time.
Heather whimpered in pleasure. She glanced at the bathtub. "Make sure that...doesn't overflow..." she managed.
"Fuck, you're right," Alejandro murmured, taking his hands off of her for a brief moment. He stopped the water and went right back to touching her. He buried his hand under her panties and slid a finger inside her. "You're so gorgeous," he whispered in her ear. "My beautiful Valentine."
Heather ground against his hand, moaning helplessly. "A-Alejandro, I need you inside me right now. I can't wait tonight."
"God, I wanna be inside you so bad," Alejandro said huskily. Heather helped him pull down his pants.
"Let's get in," she giggled. She carefully stepped into the tub. Alejandro followed and sat down with his legs stretched out. Heather hovered on top of him. She gave him a long, passionate kiss before sliding herself around his manhood. She gasped and shut her eyes, letting her jaw hang open. Alejandro gazed up at her, a lustful haze in his emerald eyes. He gently grabbed her hips and covered her neck with hot kisses.
"Sí, lo estás haciendo muy bien," Alejandro purred. "You're doing great. I love you on top like this." Heather sucked in a breath, gripping onto his shoulders.
"Oh my god, Alejandro..." Heather moaned. "You feel so good."
Alejandro pulled her against his body, sucking on her neck. "Am I nice and hard for you?" His voice trembled as pleasure rose deep within him.
"Oh yeah, yes," Heather breathed. She ground her hips faster.
Alejandro threw his head back. "Ahh, Heather, just like that, baby."
"Just like this?" Heather quivered.
"Yes! Yes, keep going, ángel!" He said. Heather continued, kissing his lips repeatedly. Alejandro thrust his hips to meet hers. "I'm so close," he whispered. "I'm so close, baby."
"Yeah?" Heather asked, tenderly kissing his neck.
"Sí. It feels so good, hermosa."
Heather moaned as he fondled her breasts. "Can you finish inside me?"
"Fuck yes," Alejandro panted. Beads of sweat dripped from his forehead as he came closer to the edge. His thrusts became desperate and uneven, and his legs turned to jelly. "Heather, I'm cumming! Oh,—Heather!" He cried, releasing inside her.
"Mmm," Heather kissed him. She shuddered with pleasure at the sounds of his moans and heavy breathing. She slowed down, panting in sync with him. After another minute or two, she got off of him and rested her head on his chest, sinking into the hot bathwater.
Alejandro rubbed Heather's back. "Did you finish, beautiful?"
"No, but it's ok. I don't really care." She murmured as she traced circles on his chest.
He gently pulled her off his chest and looked her in the eyes. "Heather, do you want to finish?"
Heather blushed. "Well—yeah, but if you're not in the mood after your orgasm, it's fine. I don't want to make you do anything."
Alejandro raised an eyebrow. "Not in the mood? I am always in the mood to make you feel good. I may be too worn out to be touched, but I will gladly touch you." Heather bit her lip, looking down. "Are you alright, mi ángel?"
"I—" she croaked out. "Chandler...told me that no guy would ever want to keep going after finishing. So I just always hoped I finished before or with him."
Alejandro was flabbergasted. "Are you fucking kidding me? Heather, he said that to you so he wouldn't have to help you out. All he cared about were his needs. Come here." He pulled her back against his chest. "I want to give you an amazing orgasm, ok?" He whispered, kissing her head.
Heather slowly smiled. Her heart was on fire. She didn't think a guy could care so much for her. She nodded. "Ok," she whispered back.
"As long as you really want it."
"I do." Heather kissed him.
Without another word, Alejandro put two fingers inside her while using his thumb to rub her clit. "Does this feel good?" He asked lovingly.
"Yes," Heather panted. "Oh my god, yes." She looked at his fingers sliding in and out of her under the water. "Fuck...g-go faster!" Alejandro did as she asked, planting small kisses on her shoulder. "Oh god, yes, right there!" Heather bit her knuckle as she felt an intense sensation building up inside of her. "Alejandro—!" She gasped. The pleasure took her breath away.
Heather squirmed and moaned as she climaxed. Alejandro kept touching her but made sure to put less pressure on her clit and slow down his fingers. Once Heather was done, he pulled out his fingers and rubbed her inner thighs. "Fuck, Alejandro, FUCK. Where did that come from? I almost screamed," Heather laughed breathily.
"I told you I wanted to give you an amazing orgasm, didn't I?" he smirked.
"I'm not sure if I want you to do it that fast next time. I was so close to screaming. That would've been so embarrassing."
"I think hearing you scream with pleasure would be the sexiest thing a human could ever hear," said Alejandro.
"I highly doubt that," Heather argued.
"Why don't we put it to the test next time then?"
"Ugh. Well—uh, I'm not exactly against it."
Alejandro chuckled, holding her to where her back rested against his chest. Heather gently scratched his forearms with her nails. She thought of how happy she was tonight. In fact, she had never felt this happy in her entire life. Alejandro made her feel a happiness that she didn't even know existed. He completely passed her expectations and blew her away every time. She couldn't hold back these feelings anymore. So, with a heavy heart, she whispered, "I love you."
Alejandro paused. Hearing those three words come from Heather's mouth was everything. He held her tighter and kissed her ear. "I love you too. I will always love you, Heather."
