Now, getting to the point, I'll update this fic and the rest soon.

But I guess with the big wide gap in the update, you all might have forgotten the plot. Hehe... Sorry man. I'm a big procrastinator. I know 😂

You can check the previous chapters, but it might bore. So I'll give a sum up to liven up your memories. Enjoy. 😘

Summary till now :

Ragini Gadodia, as the lead character. Ragini comes home to find her mother, Shramishtha her little sister Swara and her two cousins, Samay(elder) and Nikhil(younger), in distress. She immediately assumes the worst and thinks it's an attempt on Swara's life again. Her cousins say her assumption is right and hence, she should transfer to Mount College, Swara's college, to keep an eye on her. Despite her reluctance to leave her friend circle and College, Ragini agreed for her sister's safety. Once she leaves, Swara interrogates her cousins and mother. She knows they are lying and had suspected it for long. The attempted murder on her life years ago, she bel wasn't on her but Ragini. Eventually her mother and cousins admit the truth in defeat. They tell her how Ragini is actually adopted and not really her blood sister. A woman who was near death from a gunshot gave Ragini to Shramishtha for protection. They tell her how Ragini's life is in danger as she is the last heir or child of the Prataps. She is the key to the Family Treasury which is rumoured to hold something that's more precious than gold or money. Hence, Ragini was being transferred to Mount College where she would be with Swara and be kept under watch. Swara agrees and is determined to protect Ragini at all costs.

Time skip...

Once Ragini joins Mount college, she meets Kriti, Swara's best friend. There she bumps into Sanskar who is rude and arrogant. She bites back. Karan, the General Secretary of the College, comes to break them off. Laksh, Sanskar's best friend, calms down Sanskar. Later, Ragini moves to the library where she thinks she sees Sanskar again. However, Karan comes just in time to reveal that it is not Sanskar, but Ansh, Sanskar's little twin. Later, Swara and Kristi reveal things to her about the Maheshwaris and the College groups. Turns out Sanskar and Ansh hate each other. They have a sister to, named Saara(you can spell as Sara too). While Sanskar and Saara live with their parents, Sujata and Raj Maheshwari, Sanskar is the rebel. He left home and lives in his own apartment from the money he gets by selling albums as he is a famous singer. Ansh and Saara hate Sanskar for leaving the family, and leaving them. The College is basically divided into two groups. One which supports Sanskar(the amazing singer) and Laksh(the amazing dancer). And the other group which respect and follow Ansh(intelligent and the famous programmer) and Saara (the amazing singer). They also warn her about Mansi( Cultural Secretary of the College) who likes Sanskar and is a famous model. Also, the college is owned by Raj Maheshwari, Sanskar, Ansh and Saara's father. He is the Principal.

They also inform her of the College Fest and ask her to join as a singer. Swara and Ragini, as they sing beautifully, decide to participate, while Kristi doesn't, as she's good at computers but not vocals. Kriti is caught passing time and skipping classes by their maths teacher Prasanth. He sends her to class, where she befriends the new transfer student, Vivek. Turns out, Sanskar, Mansi and Laksh are the judges. Sanskar thinks he'll insult Ragini. But she manages to sing every hard song he throws at her. On the other hand, Ansh hears her melodious singing and is mesmerized by her. The auditorium is something he avoids as it is Sanskar's domain. However, her voice lures him to her. Ultimately, Laksh convinces Sanskar to take Ragini as she is an amazing singer and even better than Saara. Sanskar is about to disagree, but knows that if Ragini isn't chosen, than he would have to duet with Saara, the sister that hates him. Hence, he agrees. Laksh, however, has another motive. He knows Swara won't participate if Ragini is rejected. Since he likes Swara, he wants her to participate and knows it will be possible only if Ragini participates. Ragini doesn't want to tolerate Sanskar. However, he tells her he will feature Swara and make her famous in his next album, and she agrees for her sister. On the other hand, the Science exhibition is a part of the Fest and Karan needs a partner. However, he cannot take Ansh's help. Therefore, he decides to take Kriti as his partner. Kriti, the one who loves programming, jumps at the prospect of working in a big project. Hence, she becomes his apprentice.

Ragini still wants to apologize for the misunderstanding with Ansh and searches for him in the library. However, there an accident happens. A shelf was about to fall on her, but Ansh saves her on time. Then, later on the college indoor pool, she is thrown by someone into the pool. Vivek tries to save her but he too is about to drown. Ansh arrives in time. However, Ansh too is about to drown as their weight pulls him down. Luckily, Sanskar arrives and together the brothers save Ragini and Vivek. The concern in Sanskar for Ansh confuses everyone as he always pretends to hate him. Later, Ansh discusses this with his family and Karan. While his family believes it is because Sanskar wants to widen his popularity as a hero for the public, Karan thinks more on the matter. Kriti overhears Karan and Sanskar discussing about Ansh's strange behavior. She should leave it. But, being the crazy little shit she is, she decides to play Sherlock and spy on them. Vivek decides to help her since he would get to spend more time with her as he likes her. Elsewhere, Samay and Nikhil decide to pretend they are technicians who are there to help with the preparation for the big College Fest. They are actually there to watch over Ragini after hearing about the two accidents. Nikhil spots Saara and thinks he likes her. However, she is indifferent towards him.

There is a change in Ragini which frustrates Sanskar. She is nice to him and that irkes him. However, she is only grateful for him saving her. She also suspects he is hiding something. On the other hand, Swara and Laksh get closer. Both like each other but haven't admitted it. They decide to perform as a duo, with Swara singing and Laksh dancing. Saara, who has always liked Laksh since she was a kid, is jealous of Swara. She had decided to become friends with Ragini so that she could use her to separate Swara from Laksh. However, it wasn't helping. Mansi, who was frustrated that Ragini was getting closer to Sanskar wants to create a rift between them. Since she hates Ragini, and Saara hates Swara, she offers Saara her help. She tells her they could help each other. Meanwhile, Ragini meets Ricky Sood, who is a past lover of Mansi unknown to Ragini.

Ragini happened to follow Sanskar to his apartment. However, a few men appear who demand a chip from him. Laksh arrives in time to fight off those men as Sanskar is useless when it comes to fist fights against many. Lso, when they enter Sanskar's apartment, they find Mr. And Mrs. Maheshwari there asking Sanskar if he is okay. Their concern shocks them as they should hate Sanskar as they show to the world. Ragini and Laksh demand the truth. Finally, Sanskar discloses the story.

Twenty years ago, Raj Maheshwari and his two friends, Alok and Vishal created a chip that could outsmart almost any security man has created. However, Alok was greedy and wanted to use it for his selfish needs. In the scuffle that originated in the party that was thrown on the revelation of the chip, Alok shot a gun at Raj, which Vishal blocked. Vishal, who was the main creater of the chip, gave his life for his friend. However, Vishal made Raj promise to keep his family, his wife and three children (two boys and a baby girl) safe and also to give the chip to his boys once they grow up. Raj agrees as Vishal dies. His sons were his adoptive sons, but his daughter is his blood. However, he never distinguished and loved them all dearly. Visual tried to save them, but in the unruly crowd that went mad due to the gunshot, he is unable to find Vishal's family. Layer, he is informed that Vinod, Vishal's brother-in-law, took Vishal's boys to US to keep them safe. However, the baby girl and Vishal's wife went missing. Now, Raj's life mission seems to be to find the Prataps and fulfill his unfulfilled promise. Raj had tried to keep this story a secret to his kids. However, Sanskar found out. Once he did, he took it on his own to protect the chip from Alok's men who are still after the chip even years after. Sanskar cares a lot about his siblings and hence decided to pretend he is a rebel so that he can leave home and they hate him, thus not following him. He lives on his own and keeps the chip with him, away from his family, thus protecting them. After learning everything, Ragini and Laksh decide to help Mr. Raj Maheshwari find the Prataps.

Elsewhere, Shramishtha's brother comes to visit. Shramishtha tells them that she had taken good care of their sons, Samay and Nikhil. However, her brother shocks her by saying that that was not the names of his sons. At the same time, Nikhil and Samay reach their house. Ragini was on a date with Ansh as she was giving him a chance. Except her, Swara, Shramishtha are present when Nikhil and Samay's identity are questioned. They say that they are the cousins and that Shramishtha's brother was lying. Her brother tells her they are lying. Eventually, another figure interrupts them and tells the truth. Nikhil and Samay are his nephews and Shramishtha's brother was telling the truth. However, he warns her brother to leave and never discuss further on the topic or he will hunt them down. In fear, Shramishtha's brother leaves with his wife for good. It is only then that the truth is revealed by Samay. He is Samay Pratap and his brother, Nikhil Pratap. The man that said they are his nephews is Vinod. Vinod tells Shramishtha that he is the brother of the woman who gave Ragini to her. Samay and Nikhil then tell Shramishtha and Swara that they faked their identity since they knew that Shramishtha had never seen her nephews in real life as her brother lived abroad. Both Samay and Nikhil were computer experts and managed to get all details about their family before taking their roles. Vinod chids them for coming to India without telling him. But they say they couldn't let their sister be in danger. Hence, they came. Prasanth, the maths teacher, is there too. Turns out, he is Vinod's man who was helping him watch over the three Pratap kids. When the Gadodias ask why they didn't tell Ragini they were her brothers, they say that they don't want to destroy her happiness. Both of the brothers planned to eliminate the threat from Ragini's life and leave forever never letting her know of the treasury or the enemies after her. They do not want to destroy her happy life. Hence, even if they want her to call them brothers, they kept it a secret.

The day for the pre-performances at the Fest begin. Mansi with Ricky plan to kill two birds with one stone. They plan to poison Swara's drink which they would make Kriti serve, thus getting her arrested. Saara helps them in their plan but later regrets. She didn't know they had poisoned and planned to kill Swara. Saara only wanted her to be out of the way but not dead! However, she too helped them and Ricky tells her that he would place the blame on her. As they discuss, Riya, a good friend of Swara and Kriti overhears. However, Riya doesn't see their faces. Riya smrushes out and informs Ragini of the same. Unfortunately, Kriti was the one who already took the tray of cans from Ragini in order to help her. And it was too late to stop her. If Ragini stopped Kriti upfront of all the people, she knew Kriti would be suspected. Hence, she went into the crowd and cheered as Swara sang. Then as Swara came to take her can of soda, Ragini drank it all saying it was because she was happy for Swara and it was in her name. With a pained smile, she came out without showing her ailment. Saara, who was buried in guilt knew she had to save Ragini. She pretends to drink from the same can and fakes fainting. She says there was something in the drink, making everyone realize Ragini had drunk it. Ansh and Sanskar rush out and find Ragini unconscious with her mouth bleeding. Thankfully, Ansh takes quick action and takes her to the hospital since Sanskar was frozen in shock.

Later, Saara cries alone and Nikhil finds her. He really likes her and she too had grown close to him, although she still was possessive of Laksh. However, Ragini had made her change now. Nikhil keeps asking what was wrong and she finally reveals the truth about the poison. Nikhil hates her for her, but eventually forgives her as he realizes she truly regretted it. With his support, she apologizes to everyone and tells everyone the truth. Swara is pissed and even hits Saara. However, she too forgives her. Ansh, Sanskar and the rest do the same. Ragini successfully is out of danger. However, Ragini is injured and in the hospital recovering, Saara becomes her substitute for the duet with Sanskar. They both are against the idea, but eventually agrees on Ragini's request. Kriti is arrested. Sanskar decides he won't reveal his feelings for Ragini. He believes as she is hurt now, she would be too if she tries to help him with the chip. Hence, he thinks he would let Ansh have her. He had seen how much Ansh cares for Ragini and thinks he will step out of their way.

The gang are worried on how to get proof against Mansi and Ricky. Mostly worried are Vivek and Karan since Kriti is arrested. They both struggle hard to collect evidences. Suddenly Vivek hears Karan talk to someone about the matter. The girl at the other end plan to help. However, Karan says now he doesn't fear what will happen to Kriti. Now he fears for Mansi. As the College starts the next day, they get a new student named Maya. She is shy and she stutters a lot. However, she befriends Sanskar. As Sanskar and Saara practice, she sees the lights about to fall on Saara and warns them. As Sanskar and Saara practice, it was Mansi who tried to hurt Saara by making the lights fall on her. However, Saara is saved by Sanskar. Saara, too, like Ansh is sure that Sanskar is hiding something. Saara now begins to calls Sanskar "bhai" again instead of "black sheep". Mansi pulls away Maya and takes her to a closed room. She earns her that she should not try to interfere in their way and tells her to keep away from Sanskar or she will harm her, just as she did with Swara and Ragini. Maya gasps and shakes in fear. Seeing this, Mansi taunts and reveals how she planned and poisoned the drink and reveals everything. She thinks she scared Maya to death. However, Maya suddenly laughs and tells her she has decided everything. Maya smirks and appears more confident and bold. She tells Mansi she was acting the whole time. As Mansi's truth is played out by the recorder later for everyone to hear, the College learns that Maya is none other than Karan's fiance. Elsewhere, Ricky is chased by a masked man. At night the man scares Ricky with a knife. Ricky is so scared that he himself surrenders to the police who had arrived at his place after Mansi reveals Ricky was involved in the crime. As the police take him away, Riya, who had come along with the police to show Ricky's home, hears noises from inside. She is shocked to find Vivek there. He was the masked man with the knife. Vivek promises to explain everything but later.

Meanwhile, a man named Akash Pratap had joined the college. Ragini suspects he might be one the lost Pratap sons. Hence she wants to find more information about him. Sanskar and Laksh plan to ask help of the Principal to get the biodata of Akash. Kriti and Vivek overhear. Kriti is shocked and Raj Maheshwari pretends to hate his son Sanskar for the world. But they were working together? She and Vivek rush to tell the truth to Karan. Karan had grown to be a brother figure to Kriti and hence, she trusts him. Karan however, doesn't reveal this to Ansh since he knows Ansh would hate his parents if he knows they are lying to him. So he plans to find more before jumping into conclusions about Ansh's parents.
Since they couldn't find out anything useful about Akash from the biodata, she needs a person who could dig out details from any database - an expert programmer. And the only one she knows is Ansh. Ansh helps her, but she doesn't reveal the truth about why she wants to know. He thinks she still doesn't trust him. However, she tells him it is not her secret to reveal. Elsewhere, Prasanth questions Samay and Nikhil about why they are pretending to be technicians. They say it is because of his failure for two times with Ragini. They meant his failure to protect Ragini. Howver, Akash Pratap, who hears it, thinks it is about Prasanth's failure to kill Ragini the two times, one at the library and once, at the pool. He wants to reveal the truth to someone. However before he could, he gets a call that wants him to disappear without revealing the truth or he and his family will be killed. Helpless, Akash rushes to disappear. But just before he warns the person whom he finds that Ragini is in danger. That person happens to be Ansh. However, since he doesn't say more, Ansh is clueless and thinks he was speaking about Mansi being a threat to Ragini.

The day of the Fest begins. However, Karan is still usually researching about the Maheshwaris and Prataps as Kriti had overheard Sankar speak about them. Ansh accuses Karan of lying to him and is hurt that his best friend is hiding things from him. Karan finally reveals the facts about his parents working with Sanskar. He also tells him now they are trying to find some Prataps. In the auditorium, Ragini watches the performances. Ansh comes and sits beside her. Ragini decided to share a secret with Ansh, who is now her best friend. Both she and he knows she likes Sanskar and hence, they decide to be friends and not more. Ragini tells him that she actually came to the college to protect Swara who's life is in danger, not knowing that the truth was otherwise. It is she who is in danger and hence transferred to Mount College. Ansh promises to help her protect Swara. Also, he gets another idea. Laksh was Sanskar's best friend and almost everyone knew Laksh liked Swara. Hence, if he manipulated Laksh into thinking that Swara was in danger and he had information on it, Laksh's would disclose information about Sanskar's truth. As Sanskar performs, Ragini watches. There seems to be a pain in Sanskar's eyes. As he leaves immediately after his performance, Ragini follows him. Elsewhere, backstage, Ansh corners Laksh and asks him Sanskar's truth, blackmailing him that only then will he speak about Sanskar. He manages to get out the truth that indeed Sanskar is pretending but not more than that. Saara hears it too and wants more answers, but Laksh provides none. Ansh decides he would seek the answers from Ragini as he suspects she knows too.

Elsewehere, as Ragini chases after Sanskar, trying to make him confess that he likes her too. However, he only says harsh words and tells that he could never love a middle class girl like her. Suddenly, they are chased by enemies. However, Ragini says she will surrender as he doesn't seem to care about her. Out of fear about her life, Sanskar admits he loves her. Ragini is happy, but the men chasing them catch them. But fortunately, Ansh arrives in time and takes down all the men alone. Ragini chides Sanskar for being a sissy while fighting and he defends in his own usual sarcastic way. Later, Ansh, Karan, Kriti, Vivek and Saara all gather, demanding an explanation from Sanskar for everything. Sanskar finally relents and tells everything.

(Too bad, Swara wasn't there. If she would have been there, she could have linked the facts and revealed to the Maheshwaris that Samay, Nikhil and Ragini are the Prataps they are looking for. 😂 NOPE Author refuses to do that.)

Saara and Ansh are pissed off that he would risk is own life for a chip while protecting them. They decide to invite themselves in the plot and help. But first thing in the mission to protect the chip and Sanskar is tough for Sanskar. He has to let go of his long hair so that he looks exactly like Ansh, thus confusing the enemies as to which Maheshwari to chase after. Elsewhere, Laksh seeks Raj Maheshwari's help to protect Swara. Raj assures him and gets his men to guard Swara's house. However, Swara and Shramishtha are unknown to this and they think it's men from Alok's hang who want to harm Ragini. They call Samay and Nikhil and inform them of it. The brothers manage to chase a man but fail to catch him. However, they get a hold of his coat which has a symbol. It is of the Maheshwari enterprise. Now, Vinod is convinced that it is the Maheshwaris who are working for Alok to kill Ragini. On the other hand, Raj's men inform Raj about how Nikhil and Samay were skillful in using arms and also chasing them. They did not seem untrained. Now, the Maheshwaris suspect that Samay and Nikhil might be the ones who are trying to hurt Ragini as per Akash's warning to Ansh. Ansh and Karan also noted that they were pretending to be technicians which they had always found to be fishy. Also, Prasanth always kept watching which was confusing for them. Akash was the only clue and hence, using their skills, Ansh tracked down Akash's phone number. He questioned him but Akash didn't reveal anything fearing for his family. However, when Ansh directly asked if Prasanth was involved, Akash's suddenly went silent. That was enough of an answer for Ansh and now, they were sure Prasanth was involved.

Samay and Nikhil make Ragini and Swara promise that they will be away from the Maheshwaris. The girls are reluctant, but agree. Sanskar is pissed thinking that Ragini is choosing her family over their love. She spoke harsh words to him in anger when he called her weak for not trusting in their love. Sanskar, angry and hurt, leaves. Ragini eventually could not handle making Sanskar suffer and chased after him in town. However, someone was secretly waiting for Ragini to be alone to kill her. As Ragini spots Sanskar in the crowd, she shouts his name and cries out her heart to him. She tells him how she loves him and doesn't want to leave him. While listening, Sanskar sees a person with a knife heading for Ragini. He swiftly turns and takes the stab in his back. However, she was unaware and kept confessing of how she won't leave him and try to convince Samay and Nikhil to accept him. Sanskar, although in pain, feels content that she has finally accepted him back. As she hugs him, she feels the red liquid and panics. The culprit ran away long before she could stop him. Elsewhere, Samay and the rest manage to trap Prasanth and kidnap him. They keep him trapped in the old storeroom in their college. He was blindfolded but manages to break free if the binds. He then questions them why they have kidnapped him. They demand to know why Samay and Nikhil would try to kill Ragini. Sanskar is at the hospital, safe. Ragini is with him, but let's her go to question Prasanth for answers. She too asks why her own cousins want her dead. However, he tells her it is not true but it is the Maheshwaris who want her dead. Ragini tells him that it is the Maheshwaris who is protecting them, like the time they saved him from the gunshot. Prasanth is shocked and confused. However, he takes his stand and continues to defend the Pratap brothers. When he reaches his limits, he shouts that they are her brothers and would never hurt her. Ragini is shaken bec that would mean she wasn't Shramishtha's daughter. Everyone is shocked. It is at that time that Swara arrives. Ragini tells Swara of how Prasanth is cooking up lies. However, Swara isn't able to lie and reveals the truth. Ragini feels betrayed to the core and rushes away. She heads towarss the hospital, to Sanskar. Sanskar listens and pacifies her. He tries to make her understand that her brothers and Swara did it to protect her. Ragini listens on and finally comes to a decision as everyone gathers there.
