"The one time that I actually need you to answer the door and yet you can't even do that"

Honey said as she look to her butler who was sitting down eating peanuts on the couch. The Butler smirk as Honey just let out a groan as she rolled her eyes. The door bell continued to ring.

"I'm coming, I'm coming"

Honey said as she went to open the door and gasp in surprise to see a bouquet of roses close to her face. The bouquet was removed from her face to reveal Nick wearing black dressing pants along with a black button dress up shirt and plus a red tie.

"Hello beautiful, I thought I would surprise you with a lunch date"

He said with a grin. Honey let out a tired sigh.

"Nick, what are you doing and why are you dressed up like if your going to a funeral?"

Nick rolled his eyes and grabbed her paw.

"Come on, let's go out"

"No Nick, wait..."

She said pulling her paw away, causing Nick to stop and look back at her with hurtful eyes. Honey rubbed her temple and sadly looked to him.

"Look Nick I'm sorry really I am. This big gesture is nice and all but I really have a tone of work to do and this case is taking longer than expected."

"But that's why we can go out and for that way you can have a break"

He said as he grabbed her paw again and pulled her along.

"Come on"

Honey thought for a moment before making up her mind.

"Okay fine, just let me get my purse"

"No need, I'm paying"

Honey raised an eyebrow but nonetheless let Nick pulled her along. The couple soon arrived to the diner where they had first met.

"Well this is unexpected"

Honey said she was actually impress that Nick had brought her back to where they first met. They sat in the exact spot where Judy and Nick sat at before. A waiter then walked up to the table.

"What can I get you both?"

"We'll have a fruit salad basket"

Nick said with a smile. The waiter nodded. Honey looked to Nick with a raised eyebrow.

"What? I like blueberries"

Honey rolled her eyes with a smile before leaning on her hand mostly bored.

"So what have you been doing?"

Nick asked as he rubbed his thumb over Honey's knuckles as he continued to hold her hand.

"I'm actually under a lot of stress and I feel so overwhelm and right now I actually feel like going home and try to finish up my work"

She said as she was about to stand to leave.

"No no no, come on please let's not ruin the moment"

Nick said hurriedly. Honey raised as eyebrow in confusion.

"What do you mean?"

Nick let out a sigh as he stood up.

"I think now is the best time as any"

He said as he walked up to Honey and got down on one knee holding her paw.

"Honey, I know that you are under a lot of stress and I just hope that whatever I'm gonna say helps you and encourage you that you are not alone"

All eyes in the diner were on Nick and Honey at this point. Honey placed her hand over her heart, touched by his words. Nick continued with his speech.

" Since the moment I first saw you, I knew nobody was going to hold my heart the way you do. I love you so much and I’m ready to spend the rest of my life with you, but before we do I want to introduce you to a little game"

He said with a smirk as he pulled his paw away from her and placed both his paw behind his back. He then placed both his paw in front of her with a fist holding something.

"Which one?"

He asked. Honey smiled as she pointed to the left paw. Nick smiled as he opened his paw to reveal a black box. He looked to Honey as he opened the box.

"Will you marry me?"

He asked. Honey gasp as tears threatening to fall from her eyes as she nodded.

"Yes, oh yes I will marry you Nick"

She said as she threw herself at Nick landing a passionate kiss on his lips. Everyone happily clapped and cheered for the couple. They soon stood up and Nick placed the ring on her paw. Honey smiled as she stared at the shimmering diamond on her hand.

"It's beautiful Nick"

"Not compared to you though"

The couple sat back down on their seats and sat closer as they cuddle up together. The waiter then came to the couple with their food. Once they were done eating, Nick asked for the check.

"Um actually sir, it's both of yours special day, it's on the house"

Nick and Honey were surprised and nonetheless left a tip for the waiter. Nick and Honey went back home.

"So aren't you gonna get back to work?"

Nick asked. Honey smiled.

"Now I don't really feel like it, besides the work would always be there tomorrow"

She said as she was about to unlock the door but the Butler opened the door before she got a chance. She playfully glared at him.

"So now, you decided to open the door"

She said with her paws on her hips. Nick chuckled as he wrapped both his arms around her waist.

"Don't be too hard on him, besides he actually did open the door for me"

"What?"

She asked pulling away to face her fiancée.

"He opened the door but I wanted you to open it, so I asked him to close the door and let you answer it instead"

"Oh, so you knew"

She said to her butler. The butler grinned.

"He begged actually"

Honey smiled as she looked to Nick and giggled.

"You sure are something, aren't you"

She said as she leaned up and kissed him lovingly on the lips. Nick smiled as he returned the kiss.
