"A good day ends with a hard day of work"

Judy said with a smile as she stretch out her arms to the sky. Nick smiled as he leaned against the police car.

"Relax Carrots, its like any other day"

Nick said. They had just finished wrapping up a case and caught the criminals placing them behind bars.

"So how about we go celebrate? Lunch?"

Judy suggested.

"Sure, you're buying though"

He said with a grin as he got inside the passenger seat. Judy rolled her eyes.

"How very considerate of you"

She said plainly as she got inside the driver seat. They drove off to a nearby diner to have some lunch. The female leopard waitress wrote down their order before retrieving their food. As Judy was looking through her notes, Nick let out a sigh as he leaned his head on his hand with his elbow on the table looking at female ladies that walked by him. He notice one in particular and showed off his toothy grin to a female gazel.

"Hey beautiful"

He said loud enough to catch her attention. The Gazel looked to Nick and rolled her eyes before walking away with a huff. Nick lightly smiled as he let out a sigh and looked to Judy who snapped her fingers at him.

"What?"

"Hello, weren't you listening? Chief Bogo is gonna open up positions for the best people on the force. What if that could be us?"

She asked excitedly before her mind went into lala land. Nick smiled at his best friend before turning his attention back to the ladies walking by him. A female weasel was walking by him.

"Hey Baby how about you and me go out sometime?"

He asked smoothly. The weasel glared at him before walking away. Nick let out another sigh of disappointment, he was honestly looking for someone to settle down with but any girl he approach seems to turn their backs on him. His expression didn't go unnotice as Judy sadly smiled at her friend after she came back from lala land.

"Nick, how are you doing?"

She asked kindly. Nick look to her and shook off his disappointment and smiled.

"Great, I uh..."

"Nick, come on now. I know you better than that, I know when something is bothering you"

Nick flattened his ears as he sadly looked around. Judy looked to his direction and notice he was looking at a group of ladies sitting around a circle table.

"Did a lucky lady caught your attention?"

She asked with a smirk as she turn back to him. Nick shook his head.

"No well yes but (sigh) its just my love life has been in the gutter lately"

He said quietly. Judy tilt her head with a smile.

"Cheer up, I'm sure there is someone out there that can withstand your emotions"

She said with a laugh trying to make a joke out of it but apparently it wasn't to Nick as he let out a sigh.

"Can we just go?"

Nick asked. Judy let out a sad sigh.

"Okay"

Judy left a generous tip amount on the table for the waitress. As Judy walked ahead, Nick was walking behind her with his head low but failed to notice he bumped into someone until her cell phone fell to the floor. Nick opened his eyes wide and let out a gasp as he bend down pick up the cell phone.

"I'm sorry about that..."

Nick said as he trailed off as he stood up and looked up to come face to face with a white female fox. Judy stopped and turned around and smiled at the scene.

'I'll just leave these two alone'

She thought with a grin as she walked away. The vixen smiled at him as she grabbed her cellphone.

"Thank you and its okay, accidents happen"

Nick blushed as he stood staring into her blue eyes and quickly shook his head as he let out a nervous chuckle and scratch the back of his head.

"Y-yeah uh (cough) they sure do"

A moment of silence fell between them until the female fox smiled as showed her cell phone.

"Well again, thank you"

Nick cleared up his throat and nodded with a smile.

"Sure no problem"

The female fox began to walk away, but Nick continued to look at her retrieving form.

'What am I doing? Now's my chance to talk to someone'

He thought. He took a deep breathe and gathered up some courage before making his way back to the female fox. He gently tap her on the shoulder where she was sitting at, the vixen turned around and smiled.

"Well hello again"

She said. Nick had freezed up again but shook it off.

"I didn't catch your name, back there"

"Oh"

The vixen let out a soft giggle.

"My name is Honey. Honey Brave"

"Honey? Sounds sweet"

He said with a grin, hoping his line work and surprisingly he got a laugh out of her.

"That's real smooth. So I see your an officer"

She said. Nick smiled and nodded.

"Yeah I am. Listen, I have a problem and I was wondering if you can help me?"

"Sure. I suppose"

"I have a reservation for two and I am missing another person"

He said with a smile. Honey looked to him with a raised eyebrow.

"Are you asking me out?"

She asked. Nick looked to her nervously.

"Was I coming on too strong?"

He asked. Honey laughs.

"Not at all. You just haven't even told me your name"

She said. Nick smacked himself on the top of his head.

"Of course. My name is Nick, Officer Nicholas Wilde"

"Well Officer, how about you give me a call and I will give you my answer"

She said as she batted her eyes to him and bite her lip lightly before handing him her card.

"Call me"

She said as she grabbed her cup of coffee walking away. Nick blushed as he took another glance at her as she walked out of the diner.
