So let's start..

This a one shot story about Durga Puja in Kolkata.It is Kolkata's biggest festival.And I being living there, should write a story about it with my favourite couple Abhigya.

It's a beautiful morning where the weather is calm and pleasant and the weather is like Durga Puja type because it is Durga Puja.There is a smell of the Siuli flowers all over saying that Yes Finally Durga Puja Came.The weather outside is giving the feel of Durga Puja.

Then a beautiful House is shown.Inside we can see a man is sleeping comfortably in the bed but the alarm is continuously ringing which woke him up.

He is our Abhishek Prem Mehra-Abhi.He lazily went to fresh up and came out when his phn started ringing.

Abhi: Hello.Yes maa I woke up.Relax relax I'll make something in the kitchen.No we will go out in the evening till then I'll go out alone and see some nearby Pujas. I'll just go and enjoy the rythm of the dhak(drums) which beat in the pandals

and I will feel the beautiful Puja environment here .Maa I want to take the feel.You know na its the biggest festival here,its like a never miss festival,how can I not enjoy it? Everyone say that it's a festival of joy in the city of joy-Kolkata so I want to feel it. Don't worry I know everything.Bye.

Then Abhi dialed someone and was talking in phone.

Abhi:Yeah when will we go out? That will be better if you come to pick me in my Guest House.Alright I will be ready by then.Same yaar, I am also excited for it.Bye.

Then as said he had his breakfast and went out for pandal hopping.When he was coming out from a pandal,his attention was caught by a girl who was going inside talking and laughing with some other girls wearing a long pink gown,  and her hair was flying.

She is non other than our Pragya.Abhi stood there watching her.He was spellbound by her beauty.He couldn't take his eyes from her-Love at first sight.He didn't know for how he was standing there after she was gone.He came to sense when someone pushed him as there was crowd.Then Abhi was walking and smiling like mad.He was just imagining her.He couldn't think of anything else.Then he went to his guest House after having his lunch outside.

In the evening Abhi's friends-Purab and Vin came to pick him .They noticed that Abhi was smiling alone thinking about something.Often when they were talking he was not listening and was lost somewhere,he wasn't answering.

Purab:Vin I think some bhoot has entered in our Abhi.Look how he is lost somewhere.He is not at all listening to us.

Abhi came to sense from his dreamland with his girl whom he had seen Only once i.e, Pragya.

Abhi:Oy Purab no bhoot has entered inside me.But I have met my angel and her beauty has affected me.

Vin:Oh ho that's the reason Why our Abhi is lost in his angel's thought.

Abhi blushed and nodded his head.

Purab:Acha tell where you met her? When you met her?What is her name?Have you met her in kolkata?

Abhi:Arey yaar slowly.How can I answer so many questions altogether?

Vin:To ek ek kar k bolna yaar.Kaise kya hua?

Abhi:Ok then listen.

Abhi then explained to them what happened,how he met his angel.

Purab:What??You don't know her name?You don't know where she live?

Vin: Idiot you don't know anything about her then how will you find her?How can you meet her again?Abhi its a really impossible love story.You can only think of her nothing else.

Abhi glared Vin.

Purab: What?? Don't glare him.He said right only.Atleast you should have followed her.

Abhi:You idiots how can I follow my love?She will think bad about me.Moreover I have heard that whatever you wish for Durga Maa will give it to you if you heartily pray for it.I have prayed for my angel and I am sure Goddess Durga will grant my prayer and will give my angel to me.

Purab:Then be a Good boy and forget her.Now come on get down.This is one of the most biggest Puja Pandal.Come.

Purab parked the car and the trio was walking and chit-chating . Suddenly purab went to another side and confused Abhi and Vin also followed him.

Purab asked to a girl:You here?You told that were going to see the south pandals.What are you doing here in North Kolkata?

Girl:Bhai it was Tanu's plan to visit South today but she is a little boy ill so We will visit it tomorrow and today we came here.

Purab: That's fine.In fact it's great we have also come here and we planned to see the north Puja's today.It will be good na if we go for pandal hopping together.It will be so fun na.

Girl:No no nothing good in your plan.I know why are you saying this.Then you will get your bulbul right bhai?Then you will roam and enjoy with bulbul and Vin bhai with Disha.You both have your girlfriends.You both will roam together.You both will enjoy.What about me?I will be left alone. I have to walk alone, nobody will be there to talk with me as you two will be busy.

Purab:You are so intelligent choti.Dont worry my another friend has come today,you talk with him,he will give you company.

Girl:Wah wah you are sending me with a stranger for your love.He is your friends not my.He is a stranger to me.I cannot talk and walk with any stranger.Its not that easy okay.

Purab:By the way where is this Vin and Abhi.They were behind me only.See there they are coming .

Abhi and Vin came there but Abhi was shocked to see the girl there.Its Pragya-Purab's sister.

Purab:Abhi meet my sister Pragya.And this is bulbul and Disha you know.

Vin:Are you all coming with us?

Purab:Yes yes we all will be going together.

Abhi couldn't process what was happening.He finally met with his Angel.He kept chanting Pragya's name in his mind.He was shocked and surprised.Seeing him not responding to their talks Purab shooked him.

Purab:What happen? Where are you lost? Again are you thinking of your angel standing in the middle of road?

Abhi: Purab come with me for 2 minutes.I have something important to tell you immediately.Please come.Sorry guys excuse us for 2 minutes.

Purab nodded and Abhi dragged him and went to a corner.

Purab: What happen? What is so important that you can't tell in front of them?

Abhi: See you are my bestie.You know me from childhood.I am a good boy you know that.I want to tell you something very important.I was telling about my Angel na.She is non other than your sister Pragya.Believe me I will keep your sister happy forever.I really love her please don't reject me.

Purab immediately hugged Abhi.Abhi was confused by his certain action.

Purab:You are the best for my sister.We can't get anyone like you for my Pragya.Why are you thinking I will reject you?In fact I am super happy. I am sure Mom and Dad will also be happy.They like you the most among all my friends.

Abhi: Thank you thank you so much.I can impress your parents you will also help me.But the main problem is your sister.You have told that she is not like other girls,she is a little reserved, she doesn't open up easily.

Purab:Arey leave that to me.Now come .

They went and together everyone went for pandal hopping.Sometimes Purab made excuse and left Abhigya alone.Abhi and Pragya just formally talked.Pragya found him to be good.

Next day also everyone went together along with Tanu and her boyfriend-Nikhil.Again sometimes Abhigya were left alone.Pragya liked Abhi.

Purab:We are planning to stay at Abhi's guest House today but Pragya have to go home.Abhi please do one favour drop her home .I am very tired and Vin has already left as he was feeling little bit ill.

Abhi:Ok I will ,I don't have any problem if she comes with me.

Pragya:Lets go then.Bye everyone.

Abhi was driving and Pragya was sitting in passenger's seat.They were stealing glances.Abhi was super happy to spend time with Pragya.To break the silence Pragya spoke.

Pragya: Where do you live?

Abhi:I am from Mumbai.Came here just for your Bhai's insistence.

Pragya:Oh I remember Bhai told about you.So you are that famous business man of Mumbai in fact in India.

Abhi:It's true that I am the famous business man but the whole Mehra Industries is created by my father with his own hands, I have just modified it and looking after it.I am trying to fulfill my father's wish.He has made me this successful man.

Pragya: You know nowadays very less people are this much good.People try to take other's credit but you are saying your credit as your father's.You are so good.

Abhi:So madam liked me ha?

Pragya blushed and later Abhi dropped her in home after exchanging each other's number.

Days passed by,they at first used to talk due to some reason or emergency but recently Pragya went to Mumbai for two days an important work.There Abhi received her from airport and the two days Abhi spent entirely with her.He used to reach her hotel in the morning and then took her to her office and then they spent the entire day together.This was their tout for the two days.Finally it was time for Pragya to leave.In the airport they hugged each other tightly, though Abhi was already on love with her but Pragya has also developed feelings for him.Then they parted from their hug.

Pragya:I will miss you.Miss everything about us about these two days.

Abhi was more than happy to hear this.

Days rolled, their days start with wishing each other good morning and their days end wishing each other good night.Pragya had fallen in love you him.Finally one day Abhi came to Kolkata and confessed his love.Pragya also accepted and both their families willingly accepted .

Pragya:Abhi I am so much excited for our marriage.

Abhi: Angel I can't wait for it.

Pragya: Even I can't.I just want to see you in that wedding sherwani.

Abhi said grinning: But I can't wait when you will come and I will pull off your wedding dress.

Pragya:Chee idiot your are so shameless.

Abhi:Yes I'm shameless, only with you na.I have the right to become shameless with you.

Pragya: Not yet,you haven't got that right till now.

Abhi:Come on you know I don't need your approval of my right, I'll take it by myself.

Pragya:Abhi!! Go go from here you are just impossible.

Abhi: Not before this.

Saying this Abhi took Pragya's lips and soon they began to kiss passionately.

After one month,they were married happily.

Five years later

Pragya: Please let me go Abhi or else we'll be late.Already you woke up late and now we are in washroom for more than an hour.You can continue your romance once we land in Kolkata.

Abhi: Madam once you reach in Kolkata, you'll forget me and get busy with your Bhai and Bhabi.So let me romance with you now.I will not leave you before completing what I started.

Pragya blushed and said:As if you will let me go with them.But now do everything fast we are getting late.

Abhi:Oh atlast my baby agreed for romance.Come darling.

After 1hour of their Bathroom romance, they came out.

Pragya:Abhi we will land in evening right.Then in night we can go to see Durga Puja please.It will be so much fun if we go for whole night pandal hopping.You know Kiara will enjoy alot.She hasn't seen Durga Puja till now.She is already excited and when she will see , I am just waiting to see her excitement.

Abhi:Yeah sure even I was thinking about this.It is Durga Puja of Kolkata that gave me my Angel so how can I miss it?You know everyday I thank Goddess Durga for giving you to me and now I should go with you and princess there.I got my one Angel from there and so I have to take my another with my another Angel.Really Kiara will be very happy to see those pandals, lightings, beautiful decorations and those tasty street foods are far better from big restaurants.

They hugged each other and remained like that unless Kiara came.

Kiara: Mumma papa lets go or else we will be late.I want to see Durga Puja there I am so much excited.

Abhigya:Sure Princess.We are also excited to see your happiness.

Then they both kissed Kiara together and the scene ends with the trio hugging together indicating a HAPPY FAMILY.

Thus Abhi found his love in Kolkata's biggest festival,the festival of lights,the festival of enjoyment-Durga Puja.

Thus my story ends ,here but their life continued with so much love.
