Chapter 2

Michael

15 minutes before running past Angel's house-

Angel...what a nice name for a girl. Anyways...how long was it since the last time I had a girlfriend? I guess it was, at least, four hundred years ago.

Suddenly I felt hungry. I guess that the blood in the fridge ain't enough...

I swapped clothes and headed out into the silent night. Angel's house lights were on however, I wonder why. She must be packing her stuff. She seems to have forgotten our meeting, but that doesn't matter.

Too late to think of anything... I had to move. Fast. I don't want to hurt Angel, but my vampire form is about to show... I have to run.

As I ran, my fangs showed, my eyes turned red, and I just passed Angel's house, at breakneck speed.

I could bet that Angel could see me, at the right moment. But I was too busy to care a single bit about it. I was hungry. And I needed to eat, asap.

---

"Oh, lord, this beauty I see....." I started, looking at this beautiful girl from head to toe. A blonde, her facial features a dazzling mix of perfection and beauty.

"Yes?" She cooed. Ahh, that nice, soothing voice.

"Can I have you?" I looked into her confused eyes, which definitely was wondering what was wrong with me. I was even more tempted to bite her.

"I guess I'll have to do it myself..." I bit into her neck, aiming for that pulsing vein of blood. My hands wrapped around the girl's body, and the girl did the same.

"Ahhh, Michael," She purred. I felt like making her my slave, but I wanted Angel. More than her.

"Hey... the name's Janice. You?"

"Michael."

I sucked her blood again, and the warmth of Janice's blood pulsated through me once again. Janice soon fell to the ground, dead by my hand.

I stood up, wiping the blood from my mouth.  She's tasty, but she doesn't match the allure of Angel's blood.

"Help...help me..!" A voice rang in the air.

When you have a kind soul besides the evil side of you... you help anyone that is in danger. That's me right now.

I ran down a few streets before turning into 8th Avenue. The scream was just that far away. And, speaking of the screamer, she was there, accosted by a man. Damn. I hate men like that.

How ironic, Michael. You're like him, but you'll argue with me that you're not.

Argh, Mike. Don't you annoy me now.

"Hey! Get away from her!" I ran towards that guy and thrust a barrel punch in his stomach.

"ARGH!!!" The man groaned. Seriously? That painful? Aww, I'm sorry, you deserved it, although I broke the law many times over.

"Who...who...are you?" He asked, sitting on the floor with his legs sprawled.

"Me? I'm a nightmare...or I can be a forgiving angel. Don't do this again, and I'd let you go. Show no remorse, and I'd kill you...with pleasure." I chuckled at the last word.

"You piece of shit, you tellin' me to follow orders from you?!" The man now stood up, and he was about the same height as me. Well... strength is the main thing. Does he have more than I do?

He started punching wildly at me from all directions, as if in a boxing match and forgot the techniques.

I dodged every move with maximum precision and did an uppercut on my attacker's chin. He staggered back but still could stand up.

Oh well, where was the girl that shouted help? I turned for less than a second and saw her leaning against the wall, smiling at me. I winked at her, turned back to face my attacker and brought him to somewhere secluded. Then, I used the time to let one less person like him be in this world.

"Ah..ah...ahh!!!" Nope, men do not feel the lust when I bite them, only the girls do. That's what's fun about biting girls. I get to play with them before they die.

The man fell to the floor, drained of blood. I looked around in his jeans pockets for a wallet and read the ID. Louis huh? Too bad you're in this mess. You deserved it.

I return to the girl, who nodded her head in gratitude.

"Thank...you...benefactor, I'll...be going..." I wished I could have her, but she was an innocent girl...like the others...I wished the other girls didn't have to die, but I can't help it. I just can't.

But she saw you, Michael. She must die.

She did?

You killed Louis. She saw it all. Erase her memory.

It... makes sense... I ran after her, to place a hand on her head, removing the evidence, the memory of witnessing my murder. She collapsed to the floor, unconscious by the removal, and I quickly escaped from the scene.

Upon arrival back at Neverland, I took some time to clean myself and sat on a chair, thinking of Angel. Kelly, my helper sent me another glass of blood. I downed it in one gulp and passed it back to her.

"Master, would you like some more?" She asked.

"No, but thanks, Kelly. It's enough...Did Angel return?"

"No, she did not, she was busy with her house items all night.." Kelly responded.

"I see. Thank you very much, Kelly, you can leave." Kelly bowed and left the room.

Just then, the phone rang. For God's sake, who is it??

"Hello? Janet?" I said into the speaker.

"Hi Michael, I see that you found a girl!" Does she mean Angel? Damn, how did they even know?!

"No, I ain't got no girl," I lied, "I only met her yesterday! How can she be my girlfriend so soon!?"

"You're such a terrible liar Michael, try harder next time. Hey, back to the main point. A gathering's scheduled in two days. Thats the day after tomorrow. Usual time. Don't be late!" Janet spoke and hung up.

Argh, WHY did Janet assume things like that!? I bet someone in this house told her. Argh, can't they keep things to themselves?!
