Hoseok gasped a low moan of terror. He reached out his left hand and gripped his brother's shoulder receiving a painful whine.

Yoongi lost control of the airship for a moment, shocked by his bother's reaction. He had fired the first sets of rockets at the last wagon, so he assumed that the explosion had scared him off. But no. The dread in his widened eyes and contorted facial expression was of a different source.

"Hoseok, what's wrong?!" He exclaimed feeling his brother's fingers dig into his flesh.

Hoseok panted frantically, his other hand pressing against his chest as if having a heart attack, trying to pacify his rapid, wheezing breath.

"HOSEA!!!" Yoongi shouted his real name in panic. He had never seen him so frightened since the head of the Royal Secret Agents threatened his life.

"It's Jun...!" He cried on the verge of hysteria, turning to shoot Yoongi with a horrified look.

Gazing into his bloodshot eyes and pale complexion, Yoongi felt his blood freeze up in his veins. Hoseok's fear instantly inundated his emotions. His heart began drumming the same way it did when he learned of Namjuniel's death.

His mind shut. The vision of the horizon over the windshield window of the ship blurred out. The seconds became hours. He was so deep in an endless trench of grisly shock that it took him several seconds to notice that Hoseok had leaped out of his seat, opened the door hatch, and kneeled on the edge of the exit, with the wind lashing on his hair and clothes.

His heart skipped a beat, but before he could let out cautionary screams and angry inquiries, he saw him moving his arms with bizarre circular gestures, similar to the ones he had been doing when practicing magic. The bright light of the morning sun glowed Hoseok's focused expression. His eyes shut and jaw tightly contracted, puffing up the veins of his neck and the muscles of his sharp jawline.

A strange vibration, different from the airship's engine tremors, shivered the metal hull of the airship. Yoongi first glanced down at his feet, then at Hoseok, but eventually his eyes caught a different movement. At first, he thought he was imagining things, but then a sharp wheeze escaped his wide-open mouth.

First in line came the last wagons of the train, then every other one, each time following the next, ultimately lifting the entirety of the clandestine train of the Hisashi gang several dozen meters above the tracks, floating mid-air, as if hoisted by an invisible and massive crane. It drifted in the air with the same momentum, parallel to their airship.

"OH MY GODS, HOSEA, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Billowed Yoongi, overwhelmed by astonishment and dread, but without attaining even the slightest dent in Hoseok's focused trance.

"I am casting an anti-gravity spell. The same Supportive Magic* the Easteners use to fly their military airships," Hoseok explained, without defocuing, "Now shut up and don't move the ship!"

(*Supportive Magic = Is the type of magic Inventors, who are also Sorcorers, use to assist in the function of a complex engineering device. Selenya, or Y/N, was secretly (because in the Western Realm magic was prohibited by King Yengis) studying to become a specialist in Supportive Magic as well as an Inventor)

He clenched the steering wheel of the airship so tightly that he cut the circulation of blood in his fingers. He could do nothing but keep the airship steady and stare at the breathtaking image of an actual flying train next to him.

The wagons slowly detached from one another, maintaining a distance of approximately one meter. Hoseok finally opened his eyes and fixed them on the bar car where Jungkook confronted Lorence Pierce The Butcher.

"Come on, Jun...," Hoseak whispered to himself, narrowing his magically, radiantly lit, purple-colored eyes, like a hawk targeting its prey, "Come on, move away from there."

Laying sideways on the floor, moistening the carpet with the blood of his open wounds, Jungkook heard a familiar voice in his head.

In his moments of agony and crippling weakness, a grain of clarity lit in his mind. He glimpsed at Butcher who had toppled and fallen on the ground from the convulsions caused by the strange activity happening outside the train.

Jungkook started crawling towards the door. He reached out a hand and turned the handle. The door sprang open and the wind dried up the sweat from his forehead.

Butcher had got onto his feet and was now pressing his face on the window. He screamed when he saw the train no longer riding the tracks, but rather flying in the air. Jungkook saw it too, but his condition did not permit him to savor the remarkable phenomenon.

He used Butcher's momentary agitation over the flying train, to use his last strength to jump on the next wagon. He wasn't sure why he did it, but something or someone simply told him to do so, which he did not question.

~

Hoseok finally caught sight of the small figure of Jungkook landing on the extended portion of the wagon facing the bar car.

"Good job, little brother, now hold on there for me," he whispered once again as though speaking directly to the boy.

He made another smooth circular motion with his arm, magically compelling the wagon to spin ninety degrees. With another sign of his hand, the wagon started moving toward the airship.

"Hosea! What are---"

"Keep it steady!!!" He ordered to Yoongi briskly.

He managed to pull the wagon dangerously close to the ship, but close enough for Jungkook to leap inside in the safe hands of his brothers. The mass of the single floating wagon covered the sun and cast a giant shadow that engulfed the entire airship.

Jungkook whimpered when he fell on the hard metal floor of the ship. He coughed out blood and curled like a newborn animal, covering his head with his arms. The noise of the motor hurt his ears, but he was grateful for it, because thanks to it he allowed himself to bursts out in tears, so they wouldn't hear his wails.

The presence of his older brothers, despite the dire situation, brought out all his vulnerability. He did not wish to die, but he felt an inexplicable need to completely rely on them. Their warmth, their solemn responsibility towards him made him feel at home. He did not care for the epic defeat he suffered by Butcher, nor the flying train. All he wanted was a ray of consolation from them. To hear them say that everything is going to be alright.

When Hoseok confirmed that Jungkook was safely in the airship, he turned to the airborne train. He kept it in the air for a few more seconds, and like the maestro of an orchestra, he swang his arms outwards and finally let them rest on his sides.

As if coordinated with the relaxation of Hoseok's muscles, the train decelerated abruptly. The gravity of the earth suddenly affected the train and the wagons started plummeting on the ground with drastic speed. With Butcher still in the bar car, they all smashed on the ground, some exploding, others wrecking and crashing, with chunks and pieces being thrust all over the field, with the noise of the devastation echoing all around the hills and grasslands.

With the Hisashi's operation literally demolished and the clandestine train being no more than a wreck, their task was accomplished. The most dangerous bounty hunters in the world were out of the picture, making the world just a little bit safer for Y/N and the others.

But the boys couldn't enjoy their triumph. Hoseok rushed to Jungkook's side and kneeled next to him. His heart sank in his chest when he saw huge red stains soaking all of his clothes.

There was blood everywhere. His left shoulder, his mouth, his nose, his stomach. He coughed some of it out, too. In other words...he was dying.

"Jun!" He wailed on top of his sobbing little brother. He slid an arm under his head and pulled him into his embrace, clutching him tightly in his chest, "Hang in there, we're going to get help, okay? Do you hear me? Hang in there! Everything is going to be alright! I've got you, little brother, don't you worry!"

Those were the words he wanted to hear...

Jungkook buried his face in Hoseok's hug, tugging on his clothes as if scared that he would let him go. But Hoseok hugged him even tighter.

"I've got you...I've got you...," Hoseok muttered emotionally.

Upon seeing him in so much pain, coughing out blood and crying, he too teared up. He held his little brother as if he was the most precious thing in the world. Despite the fact they were the same height and weight, and Jungkook had grown into quite a handsome, tall, young man now, he still held him like a father holding his child.

Hoseok turned to look at a pale Yoongi.

"What the hell are you waiting for?! GO!!" Impelled the young man in utter delirious agitation.

"Where do I go, Hoseok?! There's nowhere we can go!" Yoongi yelled back hopelessly.

"Jimin told us that if anything like this ever happened, to head to his gypsy friend. What's her name?...Ehrr...Ah, yes! Eulissah Nelson! They must have healers there!" He explained anxiously.

"Alright, hold on!"

Without hesitation he pressed the gas lever and with full speed he departed for Eulissah Nelson's gypsy camp.

"I've got you little brother..."
