Later that evening.

Jessica laid out on the couch trying her best to relax comfortably, when Danny's phone started ringing. It was Evan FaceTiming him.

"Hey what's up?" Danny answers.

"Hi Danny!" Sarah shouted.

"Hi Sarah!"

"We were bored and we missed you guys." Evan said.

"Aw we miss you guys too. Here's Jess." Danny turns the camera to Jessica who was laid out on the couch.

"She just had dinner so she's laying there hating herself."

"Aw Jess!" Sarah chuckles. "You look so beautiful! Gosh, I hate that I've missed your whole pregnancy!"

"Aw Sar.." Jessica pouts. "You know what? Why don't we go shopping tomorrow? We'll be safe. I miss you."

"I miss you too! Shopping sounds fun! Are you sure you're up for it?"

"Yeah, I'm over a week late, I've figured out that she's never coming out of me."

Sarah laughs. "Well maybe all that walking will do the trick."

"I hope so."

"You don't mind, do you Danny?"

"No! PLEASE take her off my hands for a few hours."

"Ass!" Jessica laughs. "I can't wait to get away from his stinky butt!"

"You two are dorks." Evan says.

"Aw leave them alone, they're cute!" Sarah says.

"Thanks.  Hey Evan if you're not busy maybe you could come over to my house and help me pack it up?"

"Sure. Fun times." Evan says sarcastically.

"Hey I'll have pizza and beer."

"WOO! I'm there!"

"So you're finally selling your place, Dan?"  Sarah asks.

"Yeah.  My cousin was kinda renting it out, but he's moving so I thought I'd get rid of it."

"You sure you wanna?  You might want a place to run to once Jessica starts getting on your nerves."

"Nah, she's already started getting on. my nerves, and I'm still here."

Jessica looks up to Danny and laughs.

"No, he did this." Jessica lifts her shirt revealing her round belly. "He's stuck with me now."

Danny chuckles and places his hand on her bump.

"I do love this little lady.  Every last bit of her." He kisses his unborn daughter.

"Aw." Jessica smiles.

"They're so sweet!"

"Don't get any ideas.  No babies." Evan says.

"Oh shut it!  I wasn't even thinking about that you ass."

Jessica laughs and lays her head back.

There was a brief silence before Sarah chuckled and said, "Jessica your stomach is ginormous!"

Jessica laughs and places her hand on her bump. "Well yeah cause she's supposed to be here already!  I have a baby inside of me that was supposed to be out of me almost a week ago!"

"Can you see her belly button?  It's so weird." Danny pokes it.

"Yeah I have an outie!" Jessica giggles.

Evan chuckles. "It looks like a nose."

The four spoke for a while longer before hanging up.

Danny sat beside Jessica on the couch and she relaxed onto him.

Jessica yawned and shut her eyes.

Danny rubbed her arm and kissed the top of her head. "Let's go to bed, mommy."

"I'm too lazy.."

"Come on, you'll be more comfortable."

"I'll never be comfortable again."

Danny chuckles and pats her arm. "Let's go.  You need to sleep."

Jessica groans and sits up. "She'll just kick my bladder and keep me up all night!"

"I'm sorry, baby." Danny helped her stand and the two were off to bed.

The next day.

Danny drove Jessica to the mall.  She was no longer able to drive herself so she was thankful to have Danny to help her.

"Thanks for the ride, dude."

Danny smiles and kisses Jessica's lips. "You're welcome.  Try not to have the baby in the middle of forever 21."

"Hah!  I'll try my best."

Jessica and Sarah were so happy to see each other and to be able to spend some time together.

Jessica bought a few things for herself and Danny, and bunch for the baby.

As nice as it was to get together, Jessica was exhausted and in pain by the time Danny came to pick her up.

Danny put Jessica's bags in the back, and Jessica kept one with her.  The two then got in the car.

Jessica sighed with exhaustion. "Hi."

"Did you have fun?"

"Yeah!  I bought you something." She smiles.

"Aw you're sweet!  You didn't have to buy me anything, babe."

"It's nothing big but I saw it and wanted you to have it." Jessica pulls an olive green t-shirt out and holds it up.

"Girl Dad.  Oh my gosh I love it!"

"Wait, wait wait." Jessica reaches in and grabs a tiny onesie that matched Danny's.

"Daddy's Girl!  Jess, thank you!  We're gonna be so cute in these!"

Jessica giggles. "Right?  I can't wait to see you two in them.. if she ever comes out." Jessica looks down and runs her hand down her belly.

Danny chuckles and places his hand on his unborn daughter. "She's a real princess, huh?"

"She's a brat."

"Don't call her that!"

"Hey I have every right to call her that!  She's really taking advantage of the little space I gave her."

"That is true!"

Later that evening.

"Dannnnnyyyy.."

"Yeah babe?  How was your- OH MY GOSH!"

Jessica laughs. "I bought this today.  Am I too pregnant for sexy lingerie?"

"NO!  Are we gonna have sex?"

Jessica laughs. "I didn't squeeze into this to clean, Daniel."

"WOO HOO!" Danny jumps up and takes her hands to guide her to the bed.

February 11th.

"I really don't want to take these pictures, Danny.  We've already taken our maternity pictures back when I was a cute pregnant lady.  Now I'm a week overdue and I look like a fat cow."

"Stop saying that!  You look beautiful!"

Jessica pouts her face and crosses her arms.

"Smile!"

"I don't wanna."

"Jessieee.." Danny softly caresses her cheek.

"Leave me alone." Jessica turns her back to him.

"Aw you're mad at me!"

"Yes."

"Baby.."

"What!" Jessica answers with annoyance.

"Seeing you dance in the studio the other day gave me an idea for some really nice pictures.  You look beautiful in this dress, and one day our baby ballerina will see these pictures one day and love them!"

"Aw.. well that is kinda cute.."

"Yeah!" Danny smiles. "Come on, it'll be fun.... I'll take you to Dairy Queen after we're finished."

Jessica smiles and hugs Danny. "Okay I'll go!"

Jessica did a few dancer poses alone, and a few with Danny.

"I can't believe I squeezed my fat foot into these pointe shoes."

"They're not that swollen today." Danny looks down to Jessica's feet.

"Nah, not really.  I've gotta take them off though.  Oh wait!  We have to take one with Marley's little baby ballet shoes on my belly!  Then I'm ready to be done."

"Oh yeah!" Danny takes them out of the bag and Jessica gets teary eyed.

"I'm still not over these.  Look at the itty bitty feeties!" Jessica's voice goes high.

"They're adorable!"

As Jessica finished up her photoshoot Danny turned the music on.

The moment she heard the song she turned to Danny and laughed. "If you think I'm gonna do our dance, you're crazy."

"Come on.  We'll just slow dance.."

"Danny.."

"Just one dance." Danny held his hand out for her.

Jessica smiled softly and took his hand.

Danny smiles and holds her body against his.

"She hates it when our stomachs touch. " Jessica laughs as Marlowe kicks and kicks.

"She's a little stinker."

"She sure is!"

"Jess?"

"Yeah?"

"I love you."

"I love you more."

"You're the only person I want to dance my way through life with.  You keep me on my toes, you're my star, and you're the most flexible person I've ever met." Danny says making Jessica laugh.

"We've been friends for over twenty years and.. I've always loved you.. but now.. I'm in love with you.  You're the person I want to dance all my dances with.  Even when we get too old and Marlowe sticks us in a nursing home while she travels the world with her French husband named Pierre."

"She better not!"

Danny chuckles. "But we'll have each other!  And we'll wheel our wheelchairs together and dance to this song."

"Danny.." Jessica smiles.

Danny then gets down on one knee and Jessica gasps.

"Will you be my Pas de deux partner for life?"

"Daniel!"

"Jessica Lange.. Will you marry me?"

Jessica laughs and covers her mouth.

Danny looks down to the ground. "Jessica.. Are you peeing?"

"NO!  My water just broke, you goof!" She laughs.

"Oh!  Wait WHAT!"

"WHAT!" Jessica's eyes widen.

"Your water broke?"

"Oh my gosh, It Did!" She shouts. "Great.  I waited twenty five years for a proposal and Marlowe ruins it!"

"She didn't ruin it." Danny laughs. "But I would like an answer."

"Oh!  YES!  Yes of course I'll marry you!"

Danny stands up and kisses her passionately.

"Put the ring on me!" Jessica pulls away and gives him her hand.

Danny chuckles and slides it on.

"Wow!  This is so cool!"

"Yeah!" Danny smiles and kisses her once again.

They are then interrupted by Jessica having a contraction.

"Ohh!" Jessica grabs the side of her bump.

"Oh my gosh, we have to get you to the hospital!"

"Yeah.. Danny, I'm scared." Jessica looks up to him with big worried eyes.

Dany smiles and takes her hand. "Baby, no one is stronger than you.  And I mean No One!  You dance on your toes for fun!"

Jessica chuckles. "That's different, Danny."

"Still.  You can do this.  We're gonna meet our baby girl."

Jessica smiles and squeezes his hand. "I really hope she's cute."

Danny laughs. "She's gonna be gorgeous.  Just like her mommy."

Jessica smiles and kisses him.
