Ocean's POV

When I woke up I turned to see Michael sitting next to the baby just staring at him. I sit up an he quickly turns his head smiling. "Finally one of you is awake!" He giggles walking over to me "how long have you been here?" I smile back kissing him "only a few hours" he shrugs sitting beside me "hours! Why didn't you wake me"

"Mhm just a few and you both looked so peaceful so I didn't wanna wake you, plus you guys need your rest" I turn and notice a bag on a chair by the door "what's that's" I point over  "oh, that's just a few of your clothes and toiletries" I look at him confused "my parents let you get my stuff?"

"Mhm" he nods and I look at him skeptically "what happened?" He shakes his head "nothing" I can tell by the look on his face there's something he's not telling me "what did they say?" I ask bracing myself. He doesn't say anything for a moment then sighs "I didn't talk to them, when we got home last night all your stuff was outside"  he pulls me close to him "don't worry about them, you just had a baby you need to concentrate on yourself and him right now" He soothes wiping the tears that have become to roll down my face "how can I not?" I sniffle trying not to cry "look, they don't matter anymore ok? They made their choice the second they left this room. your apart of my family now. And we're our own family too, you me and..um" He stops and looks at the baby "we need to think of a name" point out. "Really? I was kinda getting used to baby boy Jackson" he chuckles. I giggle shaking my head "I do have a few ideas" he says seriously "me too"

A few hours later Michael's family came by. Janet immediately charges toward the baby "awww, soooo cute!!! He's so tiny like a little doll!" She coos "does he have a name yet?" LaToya asks smiling away at him "mhm...we finally decided" I smile "so? What is it!?" Randy eagerly asks. "Well, we thought really hard and we wanted something really strong like butch or brutus" I start to explain "and a leader like captain or something like that!" Michael adds "soo..." I smile to Michael. "Please don't tell me you've named my grandson Captain, Butch, Brutus" Joseph frowns "no" I giggle and turn to Michael "it's Captain, Brutus, Butch, Jackson!" Michael smiles. "Oh, well that's um....unique" LaToya smiles awkwardly. Michael and I begin to chuckle not able to hold in any longer "this isn't a joke. you have to take it serious when naming your child" LaToya frowns "oh Kay..." Michael rolls his eyes playfully. We thought really hard and we wanted a name that really meant something to us. So we wanted to name him after you Janet" he turns smiling at her "because when Ocean was in labour you were so brave and you ran and got help, plus because I love you so very much"

"But he's a boy so we couldn't call him Janet" I point out "so we chose Duncan or Dunk for short" He tell her and a smile stretches across her face "and we wanted to name him after someone Michael has always looked up to and who's been so supportive and accepting of him through everything" I add "so everybody" Michael smiles excitedly "this is Duncan, Joseph, Jackson"

"That's a beautiful name" LaToya smiles "it sounds awesome! DJ, Jackson!" Randy adds. Joseph smiles through pursed lips and quickly wipes a tear from his eye before anyone saw (but we did)  "that means a lot to me" he croaks fighting the urge to cry. Everybody including myself look on shocked by his reaction this is the first time anybody has seen Joseph tear up. "Anybody home!?" We hear an excited and familiar voice "Tito!when did you get here?" Michael smiles pulling him in for a hug "you mean when did we Another voice says ", Jermaine! Jackie!...you came!" Michael looks at him happy yet surprised "well I couldn't not come an meet my nephew" he smiles walking over to see him "I have to admit. I thought Randy was joking when he told me the news but then when you sent me the picture!" Michael looks at him confused "Randy told you? I thought mother called you" Jackie shakes his head "no, I called the house and Randy told me you were all at the hospital and Said you an Ocean had a baby" he looks around the room and notices Katherine isn't here "where is mother anyway?" He asks "she has some stuff to do back home she'll be here soon" Joseph tells him.

Awhile later Katherine eventually turns up and Michael tells her we'd decided on a name. She smiles but seems distracted by something. "So I guess the next step in the big day! Any dates?" Tito smiles "not yet, it won't be for awhile yet" I tell him "you don't wanna do it sooner?" Joseph asks looking at Michael "We do but..." Michael starts to say and Katherine cuts him off  "but Ocean's 16 and he won't be 18 for a 5 more months. So they'll have to wait"

"They can still get married" Jackie steps in "I know this guy who specialises in marriages and he told me that people can get married even if their not 18, you just need permission from one the parents" everybody looks at each other awkwardly "um, Ocean's parents won't give their permission they um..." Michael mumbles "it's complicated with them right now "I tell him not going into detail "looks like you'll have to wait 2 years then" Katherine reminds everybody in a cold kind of tone. Jackie doesn't say anything for a moment "I'll be right back" he starts dialling a number leaving the room and Michael and I look at each other confused.

A few moments later Jackie comes back "my friend I was telling you about, I um, I just called him and I don't know how you two feel about it but he said he would marry you both if someone forges one of Ocean's parents signature" Katherine opens her mouth to say something but Joseph cuts her off "I'll do it"

"It's not exactly legal so it's gonna have to stay between us ok?" Jackie sternly points out and we all nod excitedly "when will it be?" Michael asks "he'll need a few days to get all the paperwork together so it will be the end of the week"  Michael turns to me  "what do you think?" He smiles biting his lower lip "I can't wait" I smile back and he pulls me close to him and kisses me quickly

Michael's POV

The whole day mothers seem really distant while everybody else is excited about Ocean and I getting married she seemed really against it. I thought out of everybody she would be the happiest. I know she's still getting used to everything but she seems to be acting really strange and distant with me.

Later that night while mothers alone in the kitchen to try to find out what's going on "can we talk?" I ask sitting at the table and she comes over to join me "I get that all this has been a shock for you but I thought you'd be happy about this. I'm getting married and having a family of my own. isn't this what you wanted?" She sighs shaking her head "Michael, you got a 15 year old school girl pregnant, hid a child from me and now your getting married in a hospital and it's not even a legal marriage. Of course this isn't what I wanted" she snaps at me. "She 16 actually and what difference does it make where or how we get married?" I ask confused "it wasn't that long ago you told me you didn't want to get married or start a family and she maybe 16 now but she would have been 15 when the two of you..." She pauses for a moment "was it here?" She frowns and I look at her confused "where the two of you..." She looks away not wanted to finish the sentence  "does it matter where?" I ask still confused why she'd even want to know details "what you two did was nothing but dirty and sinful so YES actually it does!" She snaps "Was it here? In my home? Where did you and that girl ...?" She pauses scrunching her face "that girl is gonna be my wife and do you really wanna know all the details?" I say shocked by her reaction and kinda pissed that she called Ocean 'that girl' "ok, yes we had sex in here..a lot. I fact we even did it on the sofa a few times. Sometimes we'd be here sometimes at hers. Even did it in my car" I snap "why does any of that even matter? We had sex, she got pregnant and now we're getting married" She didn't say anything and looks down disappointed and a little disgusted. "A few weeks ago you were trying to arrange a marriage for me so why are you against me getting married now?" I asked softly feeling guilty for snapping at her. "Because you made it clear you didn't want any of this. You broke down in tears in my arms and now all of a sudden this is what you want?"

"I didn't get upset that day because I didn't want a wife or a family. I got upset because I'd already chosen my wife and we were already starting a family" I say softly. "Which you hid from me" she mutters under her breath "and I'm sorry about that I really am" I sigh looking at the ground "if things had been different...if Ocean hadn't gotten pregnant.." She says curiously "I'd still choose to marry her" I smile "DJ being here is just an added bonus for me" she's about to say something when Joseph walks in "you better go get some rest. Your brothers are gonna be here first thing to help you decorate and turn the guest room into a nursery" he says sternly. Him and my mother look over at each other and I can sense the tension the room. Taking the hint I leave the room and head straight upstairs without saying anything

Joseph's POV

Once Michael is upstairs I close the kitchen door giving Katherine and I more privacy "what the fuck are you doing?" I snap "nothing" she's says trying to act innocent "I heard what you were doing, why are you trying to turn Michael against marrying Ocean?"

"She can't be a good wife for him or a mother to Duncan she's too young for him. Michael shouldn't have to have some quick wedding in a hospital by a crooked minister Jackie bribed just because Ocean went an got herself pregnant...probably on purpose"

"Are you that stupid!?" I snap raising my voice "Michael wasn't some innocent little victim backed in a corner! He was sniffing around the girl from day one. That's Why he'd always help her babysit and drive her to school and help her with homework. Not because he was trying to be a nice neighbor but because he was trying to fuck her and he did! He just told you that himself. He was getting it every chance he got. He's only got himself to blame for all this"

she shakes her "no, she seduced him, you saw how she was like. She was always flirty towards him and wearing those short skirt and tight tops. She was always trying to tempt him and he made a mistake she tempted him and he eventually gave in and now he has to suffer because of ONE mistake and now she has him right where she wants him!. If he'd had married the girl I chose he wouldn't be in this mess. Emma wouldn't have done this to him. She'd make him happy and..." I shake my head cutting her off

"Michael's in this mess because he couldn't keep his dick in his pants for more than 2 seconds. And why do you want him to marry Emma so badly anyway?" She looks down and doesn't answer "well!?" I snap impatiently waiting for an answer "I just think she's better suited for him" she mumbles "well that's too bad" I shrug "because like it or not he's marrying Ocean and he's gonna take responsibility for his kid"

"But what  if he didn't want to mar.."

"Are you fucking deaf woman!!? I shout cutting her off "did you not listen to a word that boy just said? He flat out told you he WANTS to marry Ocean and he WANTS his kid!!! And even if he didn't, he wouldn't have a choice in the matter anyway because I'd beat his ass and drag him down the isle myself if I had to. No son off mine is gonna run away from his responsibility. Good or bad he made his choice when he decided to drop his pants and knocked up the neighbours daughter so whether he likes it or not he has to deal with it. You should be grateful he's happy about it!" She looks away not saying a word. "Their getting married. And that's that" I say sternly then leave
