Katharine's POV 

I roll my eyes and sigh I frustration as I cook breakfast listening to Joseph still talking about that stupid iPhone "it has apps for everything"

"Yes, very amazing" I sigh "it was really nice of Ocean to give it me, I've needed a new phone for awhile and this is top of the rage!"

"She only gave it you because Michael bought her a new one" he rolls his eyes still playing around with it not bothering to look up "so he bought his wife a gift. It's not the end of the world" he shrugs "for her birthday! we're Jehovah's witness incase you forgot and they know we don't celebrate birthdays and they went and had a party!" I frown still annoyed about it "are you still going on about that?  So they had a party to celebrate her birthday. They also had sex out of wedlock and their teen parents. Incase you forgot. You don't see me getting at them about it" he shrugs "because their going against everything they were told and everything I believe" I snap "doesn't that tell you something? They clearly don't care about that stuff or the rules" he chuckles slightly under his breath. "Michael was never like this before he met that girl, she's a bad influence on him, I've said that from the start"  he sighs rolling his eyes "Ocean is his wife. And quit getting at the girl! Michael's the one who couldn't keep his dick in his pants just like Michael was the one who organised the party. She didn't even know about it".

I'm about to say something when Randy comes in and sits at the table playing his PSP "you have a maths test this morning. You should be preparing yourself not playing video games" I snap "I am prepared Ocean's been helping me study all week"

"Did she now?" roll my eyes placing his breakfast on the table. "Mhm...she's great at maths. I'm totally gonna pass this  test!" He smiles confidently. "That was nice of her" I fake a smile. Then Yell Janet to come downstairs "come on. Your gonna be late and your hairs not even done yet"

"I want Ocean to do my hair she does it in really pretty braids!" She smiles. "Fine I'll do it in braids" I sigh impatiently "but I want Ocean to do it" she whine pouting

"Mmmm...Michael!!!"

We all hear from upstairs and Randy and Joseph begins giggling to themselves "why don't we listen to some music while I do you hair?" I say to Janet who's looking confused turning on the radio "but I want Ocean to do it" she pouts folding her arms "I think she's already doing something...um..cikka...bowww" Randy chuckles "Randy!" I frown then turn back to Janet who's staring up at the ceiling confused "Why does Ocean keep calling Michael Daddy?"

"just ignore them sweetie" I smile awkwardly and Joseph and Randy continue smirking and chuckling under their breath. "That's not funny!" I snap "what's not funny?" I hear Michael walking down the stairs "can Ocean braid my hair now!?" Janet asks him "sure" he shrugs smiling  and she runs off upstairs.

"You do realise there's a houseful of people when you two are...doing that" I frown and he looks at me confused "how did you know we were..."

"Married or not it wouldn't kill the two of you to be a little more.... Discreet" I snap cutting him off "sorry, we'll try and keep it down" he mumbles embarrassed. "Don't listen to your mother boy. You keep doing what your doing" Joseph winks smirking proudly at him. "Um...anyway. I should be heading to work before I'm late" he mutters heading to work. "Come on boy I'll drop you and Janet of school" Joseph says shouting Janet downstairs.

After they all leave I Start clearing the table and LaToya walks in "she's upstairs!" I snap and she looks at me confused "Ocean! I'm guessing that's who your looking for"

"What's wrong" she sighs leaning on the edge of the door "oh nothing" I shrug "just perfect little miss 'fuck me harder daddy' up there is trying to take my place!" I snap "this is MY house and I run it not her...First she takes my son! And Now! she's braiding Janet's hair, helping Randy with his homework. Even giving Joseph an iPhone what the heck is he gonna do with an iPhone!?"

"She's just being nice. Anyway, I thought you'd be grateful for the extra pair of hands around here now your working again. Maybe you should try and get to know her a little better"

"She's trying to take over is what's she's doing and milking that poor little victim card as much as she can" LaToya gasps slightly "mother you know how much that poor girls been through! maybe you should try giving her a break sometime" she frowns "I have to go. I'm supposed to meet my friend in and hour"

Once she's gone I put my coat on and I'm about to leave when I see Ocean coming downstairs with Duncan "I'm off to work since YOU''VE taken care of EVERYTHING" I say sarcastically smiling and obvious fake smile. And she stands looking at me confused. She's about to speak but I walk out closing the door before giving her the chance.

Michael's POV

I'm at work and Ray and I are talking and I tell him about everything that's happened while I was off work. About me getting arrested, what happened with Ocean and about her mother asking me to give Ocean that message that the family is sorry and still loves her. (Which I never did) and I feel a little guilty because I knew Ocean was upset about not seeing her parents on her birthday. "So you fucked your wife outside near the woods, it's nothing to feel bad about. Everybody's has their own little kinks" he chuckles "but I really hurt her. She wouldn't even let me go near her the rest of the night"

"She was probably just pissed because her mother called protective services" he shrugs "you said yourself she's was fine the day after and you guys have fucked since then so she clearly wasn't that bothered so why should you? Did she even mention it after?"

"She said she just wanted to forget about the whole night"

"There you go! Clearly she enjoys it. If she didn't then she would have said"

"Well she definitely wasn't  complaining this morning that's for sure" I giggle slightly under my breath "exactly! Trust me on this one no girl calls their man 'daddy' when their having sex unless they loving the D" he chuckles making me laugh.

I feel a lot better after talking to Ray about what's been going on. I don't know if it's because he's a lot older than me or maybe it's because he has more life experience. 30 years on life experience to be exact, but he's always here whenever I need someone to talk to or need advice. "And another thing!" He says bringing me back from my trail of though "don't keep putting yourself down about what happened with Ocean's parents. You have nothing to feel guilty about on that one"

"So you think I was right not to pass on the message to Ocean?"

"fuck yeah!!! If you tell her what she said then she's gonna go over there and wanna make up"

"She wanted to reconnect with them" I sigh "yeah wanted to, and if you pass on that message she's gonna make up with them and they'll all be getting in her head and before you know it it's 'bye bye Mike!' Those people tried to take your kid away TWICE you two don't owe them shit" he shrugs "Ocean and DJ belong to you and if you wanna keep it that way then her family's got to go"

"Trust me if I could get rid of them I would" I chuckle slightly. He looks at the time in his watch then gets up. "We should probably head back before we get caught slacking again" We start walking back and he grabs my arm stopping me "I almost forgot...here go" he smiles handing me some more Coke. I stand staring at it for a moment thinking. I know I shouldn't but Ocean's been so happy and relaxed the last few days and she even said herself it wasn't fair that I could black things out but she can't. I hate myself for hurting her like I did and I'd do anything to take it back...or at least help her forget.

"Mike! You gonna take it from me or what?" Ray shrugs giggling snapping me back from my thoughts YET AGAIN "um, actually..." I mumble "what's up?" He asks concerned "can I get a bit more this time?" I ask still unsure if I should get it for her "sure!" He shrugs handing me some more "you don't have be nervous about asking for more you know. You can buy  as much as you want" he chuckles "it's actually for Ocean" mumble "she's only been taking a little bit to stop her feeling down and stuff" I explain an he puts his hand on my shoulder "Mike, you don't have to explain yourself to me ok? Whether you two use it to party together or just to lift you mood a little. It's your choice. You know full well I'm not gonna judge the two of you" he smiles "thanks, and sorry about rambling on about my problems all morning" he shakes his head giggling slightly  "Thats what are friends for?..." He smiles "and quit worrying all the damn time you guys are 18 and 17 enjoy yourselves!" He chuckles slightly under his breath.

Ocean's POV

I'm finishing off the last few bits of housework before DJ wake up from his nap and I still can't stop thinking about Katherine's bitchy comment. She really pissed me off this morning. I don't know why she hates me so much. I've never done or said anything wrong to her. Well I think I haven't anyway.

An hour later DJ is wide awake and I'm sat in the living room playing when Randy comes running through the front door. "Oh my god! Oh my god!" He squeals excitedly "good news?" I giggle at his reaction "good! A+!!!" I go over giving him a hug with my free arm holding DJ with the other "I knew you could do it!" I smile "I've never got an A+ in anything! I can't wait to show mother and Joseph!" He smiles proudly of himself. Moments later Michael comes home.

He's sat playing with DJ and We all hang out for awhile. Then Randy gets up to leave "where you going?" Michael asks "Maddie and I are gonna go hang out at the park for awhile"

"DJ loves going to the park" Michael hints "you mean you two just want the house to yourselves" he looks at us skeptically raising and eyebrow "fine! But only coz I don't want my nephew having to listen to anymore of what we heard this morning" he chuckles.

Michael's POV

Ocean and I have been goofing around giggling and dancing to the music when 'our song' comes on "dance with me" I smile pulling her in close to me and she wraps her arms around my neck and we slowly dance in sync with the music as I sing to her.

We're interrupted from our beautiful moment by someone banging like crazy on the front door.

I turn the music off and open the door and Carson straight away starts yelling "I've been on this door for 10 minutes!turn that fucking music down! I could even hear it when I was pulling up onto the street! What the fuck is wrong with you!?"

"Well it's Nice to see you to Mr Thompson" I giggle "who is it?" Ocean asks coming over to me "oh it's you" she rolls her eyes "do you have any idea how loud that music is "she shrugs and we starts giggling "oh so you think this is funny?" He snaps "dude lighten up. It's only music" I shrug "keep it down or I will call the police" he frowns "shocking!" Ocean gasps sarcastically "you know what, Ocean?" He frowns at her "I can't believe what a disrespectful little brat you turned out to be. You know you've broken your mothers heart and.." Before he can finish his sentence she closes the door on him "Ooops" she giggles pulling me close to her "are you ok?" I asks and she nods pursing her lips "I'm done with them...why should I bother listening to them when they couldn't even be bothered to come an see me on my birthday" she shrugs. I'm about to speak but she cuts me off kissing me and puts her hand on the back off my head pulling me closer deepening  our kiss. I lift her up wrapping her legs around my waist pushing her up against the door and smile to myself. I didn't even have to try and get Ocean's parents out of the way like Ray suggested I should, because she did that all by herself and it was her choice. And now it's clear to them that Ocean and DJ are mine.
