Ocean's POV

"now are you sure your going to be ok?" My mother asks for the 100th time "We'll be fine! You guys concentrate on today"

"Maybe I should stay. They'll understand"

"No, we told them we'll be there and we'll be there" my father tell her sternly "and if there is a problem. Which they won't I'll call you straight away" I smile reassuring her.

After and hour of getting ready and reassuring her everything is going to be fine, they finally leave. "Finally we're alone!" I smile at DJ "And I have a surprise for you!....Daddy's coming to stay!" As soon as he hears this he smiles the biggest smile I've ever seen.

I waited and hour or so before calling Michael to let him know the coast was clear, just incase my parents or Sherri had 'forgotten something' and came back.

I'm sat in the kitchen feeding DJ still waiting for Michael. "Wonder where daddy is?" I say to DJ. It's been over an hour and he's still not here. "Here he is!" I smile turning round to see Michael standing by he kitchen door "how did you...."

"Daddy's missed you so much" he smiles picking up DJ "when did get here?" I smile still wondering how he got in "Same way I always have" he smiles kissing me softly then turns back to DJ "it's been along time since I snuck into mommy's room" he chuckles. "I got something for you both" he smiles. "It's upstairs"

"What's all this?" I ask seeing a whole bunch of baby clothes and toys on my bed "this. Is why it took me so long to get in" he smiles. "You didn't have do..."

"Just because I can't be here all the time doesn't mean I'm not gonna still provide for my family" he smiles cutting me off. And DJ smiles excitedly trying to reach over to his new toys. "I got something for you too" he hands me a small rectangular box and inside is a beautiful gold bracelet. With the words "I love you with all my heart" inscribed on it.

Michael's POV

The phone rings and Ocean goes downstairs to answer it. "Don't worry" I whisper cuddling DJ on the bed. "This will all be over soon. And you and mommy will be home with me and I promise you'll never have to see these people ever again"

Jessica's POV

When I call Ocean, it takes awhile but eventually she answers. "Hello?"

"Hey I'm just checking in to see how everything is going?"

"For the 100th time everything is fine. I'll call you if there's a problem" she sighs. "What took you so long to answer?"

"I was upstairs with DJ" I can hear a noise in the background and I'm about to speak and she cuts me off. "I'm gonna have to go. DJs crying" she says quickly. "I didn't hear..."

"I'll talk to you later" she cuts me off again putting the phone down.

"So. Was she still there?" Sherri asks coming over to me. "She was but...I think you were right. She seemed in a hurry to get off the phone and I'm sure I could hear another voice in the background"she folds her arms and raises and eyebrow. "I told you! He's probably there right now"

"Well what should I do? We can't leave yet. The funeral is about to begin"

"Well, She thinks we're going to be gone all night so most likely he'll be staying over. So when we get back tonight I guarantee he'll still be there"

"Is everything ok?" Carson asks coming over to us. "Um. I'm not really feeling to good" I lie holding my stomach. "Ocean's fine" he rolls his eyes. "We're not leaving" he says sternly "well we could leave tonight if your still not feeling good" Sherri cuts in acting concerned "fine!" He sighs. "You call Ocean and let her know we'll be coming home tonight. He sighs finally giving in.

Michael's POV

This whole day has been amazing. I've waited so long for this, just spending the day with the two people I love the most. I hate that I can't see them everyday and I still cry at night knowing I can't be with them just yet. Jermaine has tried to reassure me time and time again that this will all be over soon and we'll be a family again before I know it. But it still kills me. DJ is growing up so fast and I don't want to miss anything. His first steps, his first words. When he's babbling it's sounds like he's trying to say "mama"

"All ready!" Ocean smiles coming down the stairs and I smile back carrying DJ up to the bathroom for his bath. It's even little things like this I miss the most.

"I think he likes his new bath toys" Ocean giggles as DJ continues to slash around excitedly. I'm about to speak and once again the phone rings "could you just finish?" Ocean asks heading downstairs (again)

"I wish we could just unhook that thing" I chuckle to DJ getting him out of the bath. "But if we do that mean old lady might come back and we don't want that" I coo taking him into Ocean's "because daddy's gonna be spending all night with you guys" he smiles kicking his legs around excitedly.

I start to walk down the stairs and Ocean is still on the phone.

"Ok I'll see you guy tomorrow" she rolls her eyes desperately trying to get off the phone. door knocks and I quickly answer it.

"It's just the pizza delivery guy I have to go. I'll see you guys tomorrow" she quickly says hanging up the phone."ok! Time to put this little guy to bed" Ocean smiles coming over to is "How many times is she going to call?" I chuckle. "I told you she'd do this" she giggles "she's just checking to make sure I haven't gone to see you...but" she smiles "she said they won't be coming home until the afternoon. instead of the morning" she smirks.

After we put DJ to bed Ocean and I go downstairs to watch a movie.

We're cuddling on the sofa and I lean over and kiss her softly and pretty soon it turns into a full on make out session. "Do um, do you wanna go upstairs?" I mumble. She doesn't answer at first then finally nods.

We get upstairs and lay on the bed and start making out "are you sure about this?" I whisper "I don't wanna rush you"

"I'm sure" she whispers back. We begin kissing again and I slowly starting moving my hands down her body. I get to stomach slowly rubbing my hands against her and I can't feel her tensing up. "Are you ok?" I ask moving away slightly. "Mhm" she nods smiling through pursed lips and we begin kissing once again and I lay on top of her deepening my kiss.

Ocean's POV

"I'm sorry" I sigh sitting at the end of the bed and Michael is sat beside me holding my hand lacing his fingered between mine. "You have nothing to be sorry about" he reassures me. "I do want to. I really do but..."

"I understand" he cuts me off "after what I've don't to you in the past, I understand that your not ready and it's going to take time to trust me in that way again. And like I told you before I'm not gonna rush you or pressure you to do anything you don't want to" he smiles stroking the side of my face. "I'll wait" he says softly. I'm about to speak and we hear DJ crying.

We go and get DJ and the three of us lay in bed cuddling watching rugrats (DJs favourite not ours) Michael leans over and pecks my lips "goodnight" he smiles "goodnight" I smile back pecking his lips.

Jessica's POV

We finally get home around midnight and the house is completely silent "where are they?" I say worriedly, looking around downstairs "keep it down, their probably asleep by now" Carson whispers and I quickly head up stairs.

I go into Duncan's room and tiptoe over to his crib. "Oh my god!" I say to myself "what's wrong?" Sherri asks walking into the room "they've taken him!" I panic "have you checked Ocean's room?" She asks and I shake my head "their probably in there" she whispers "I quickly rush to her room swinging the door open. "I thought you weren't coming home until tomorrow?" Ocean says laying on the bed with Duncan. looking at me confused "where is he!?" I snap "who?" She shrugs confused "Michael!"

"How should I know?" She asks and I quickly open her closet and look under her bed. "I knows he was here I heard his voice in the background when you were on the phone!" I snap. "That was the pizza delivery guy I already told you" she rolls her eyes. "If he's been here I swear..."

"Well he hasn't!" She cuts me off "I have no clue where he is and to be honest I couldn't care less either" she shrugs. "What's going on?" Carson asks confused walking into the room "mom's gone all paranoid thinking I've hidden Michael somewhere in the house" Ocean giggles "then where did all this stuff come from?" I ask skeptically, pointing and the baby clothes and toys "I bought them" she shrugs
"With what money?"

"she does have an after school job" Carson frowns shaking his head "I can't believe you had me drive all the way back here in the middle of the night for this!" He snaps walking out of the room and I follow behind him.

After my mother leaves I smile to myself and text Michael
