Joseph's POV

As we're all sitting at the dinner table, I can't help sit and stare at Michael and Ocean. All the signs were there and I missed every one of them. I knew something was wrong. but I would never have guessed it would be something like this. Only yesterday they were these sweet loving kids who doting on their son and now, I don't even recognise them.

"What's up with you two?" Katherine asks seeing them looking a getting a little agitated and sniffling like crazy "nothing we're fine" Ocean smiles through pursed lips. I haven't told anybody what's going on and I think it's for the best. The less people that know about this the better. "Are you sure? You both seem a little shaky"

"SHE JUST FUCKING SAID SHE FINE!!" Michael screams then suddenly goes quiet again. "You two upstairs now" I tell them quickly getting them out of the room.

"Once their in the bedroom I close the door so nobody hears us "you two need to try and calm the fuck down I whisper "Michael, have you taken. Your medication?" He shakes his head "so take it now and give the rest to me" he does as his told and gives the rest to me "I'll keep hold of this and give you what you need when you need" I tell him putting it in my pocket "I can do it myself" he says shakily "it's to much temptation. I'm about to speak and Ocean rushes out of the room and I hear her throwing up in the bathroom.

"How did you two even get like this?" I shake my head still in disbelief "we didn't want to" Michael sits on the bed sobbing rubbing his temple "we only did once and then...I don't know what happened" I sit on the bed next to him "but why? This isn't you" I say softly trying to calm him down. He's about to speak and Ocean comes back looking exhausted "you two just try and some sleep while you can...it's gonna be a long night"

"What about DJ?" Ocean asks "I'll bring him up and let you say goodnight"

"But he sleeps with us" Michael says "not tonight" I shake my head "but he always..." I cut off "but your not always crashing...look..I'll let you say goodnight and you can spend time with him in the morning"

I'm downstairs in the living room while everybody else is sleeping and I see Michael sneaking down the stairs half asleep, pouring in sweat "Where do you think your going?"

"I need some water" he mumbles "go back in your room and I'll bring it up" he staggers back upstairs without question.

When I go up he's not in his room and I hear him throwing up. "They just keep coming back" he cries sitting on the floor "what does?" I ask sitting next to him "the flashes" he mumbles "I didn't mean to hurt her" he sobs "Michael your just a little delirious right now ok?, you just need to get through tonight and..." Cuts me off "I just wanted her to love me"

"Who?"

"Ocean, I just wanted her to....love me back" he says have falling asleep "but she does" he shakes his head "because forced her too...an DJ..I did that to her" he mumbles "what about him? What do you mean you forced her to love you?"

"I made her...and you know what's worse?" I frown at him confused "I've lost count of how many times" I sigh helping him back to his feet "c'mon you don't know what you saying. Let's just get you back..."

"I did it right there" he points weakly towards the sink "c'mon" I say taking him back to his room. When we get there Ocean is sat crying on the bed "I'm so sorry" Michael cries putting his arms around her.

I leave the room and I can hear DJ stirring "it's ok" I whisper picking him up from his crib and I can hear the two of them crying in the next room "mommy and Daddy are just a little sick right now but everything will be ok soon and we'll have them back real soon" I whisper breaking down crying listening to them in the next room.

The next morning I go to check on them and Michael is in the shower. they both seem to have calmed down slightly. "How are you both feeling" I ask Ocean going into the bedroom. She smiles through pursed lips and nods but still looks in a pretty bad way. I know he was delirious and was probably just rambling but, I can't stop thinking about what Michael said last night. I sit next to Ocean her on the bed and she smiles seeing me carrying DJ with me "hey sweetie" she smiles taking him from me. "Ocean, can I ask you something?... Michael said something to me last night" I sigh trying to think how to ask "he said he forced you to love him and mumbles something about DJ"

"I already loved him. just like we love DJ" she smiles through pursed lips looking away cuddling DJ and I can see from the look on her face she knows what he was talking about. "What did he mean?" I ask and she doesn't answer me "what did he mean?" I ask again and this time she looks at me "please don't make me say it" she mumbles "or Michael" she adds and I nod seeing her getting agitated "ok, well I'm here when ever either of you are ready to talk" I smile sympathetically. "I'll go take this little guy downstairs while you and Michael get ready.
