Jessica's POV

I'm in the kitchen giving Duncan his breakfast before Ocean and Michael get here and Carson walks in. "Are they definitely coming today?" He frowns. "Yes, they'll be here in an hour. Why are you in such a bad mood today?" I look at him confused. "Because I had to listen to that thing crying all night and now I have to drive all the way to the post office to pick up some important packages because you send the mail man away!"

"Carson you know full well I don't sign things unless it's a legal document and a lawyer is present. Do you have any idea what people can do with your signature these days?"

"Yes! They'll give you important fucking packages so I don't have to drive over to the post office on a Saturday to get them! And you didn't have a problem signing custody papers to get that!" He frowns pointing at Duncan. "That was different. That was for legal reasons and a lawyer was there" I point out. "Well you need to get the lawyer back here so you sign them again so we don't have to do this shit every week" he frowns grabbing his car keys and heads to the post office.

When Carson leaves I turn my attention back to Duncan. "Don't worry about him" I coo "daddy's just a big grumpy today. Now let's go get all washed up and dressed" I smile picking him up from his high chair. "Now you be a good boy and get dressed nicely for mommy today ok?" I smile taking him upstairs. And he frowns at me. "What is it with you and daddy being all moody today?"

Ocean's POV

After my shower I head downstairs and Michael has made breakfast. "Awww baby, you didn't have to cook" I smile taking my seat at the table. "Well I wanted to do something nice for you" he smiles sitting beside me. We're sat talking for a moment and he suddenly goes quiet. "What's wrong?"

"Umm, about last night..." He starts to say but he's cut off when he hears Jermaine walking into the kitchen "Wow! It's 7am and you two are up already!?" He looks at us surprised. "It's our day with DJ today" I smile. "Going anywhere nice with him this week?"

"We wanted to go to the park or something but it's raining so we're just gonna be at Jessica's all day" Michael mumbles. "We should probably get going soon" he says getting up from the table.

Michael's POV

I've been trying to think of  to say to Ocean all morning about what happened last night, but with Jermaine walking around the house I didn't get the chance.

We're in the car on the way to see DJ and I'm still kinda nervous to bring it up last night. The whole drive we've just been talking about random stuff. We get to a red light and I decide to just come right out with it, I take a deep breath and sigh "About what I did last night" I say finally bringing up the topic. "I..." Before I get a chance to finish Ocean leans over pressing her lips softy against mine "I love you too" she smiles onto my lips then breaks away and sits back down. "Green" she says and I look at her confused. "The lights green" she giggles and I start driving again.

I've been so nervous about bringing up that conversation all morning, but it surprisingly went a lot better than I thought. I was really worried last night about whether or not I should do it. That was the first time I've ever done that to her when I hadn't blanked out and I had no intention of doing it to her then or even now, it really confused me when She said to the therapist she thinks I stopped forcing her because I didn't love her anymore and it broke my heart hearing her say that. I hate to admit this but Ray was right. The first time I told him what I did he said she must have enjoyed it or she would have left me and by the way she's acting this morning clearly she did enjoy it. Even though I feel kinda bad about forcing her apart of me actually enjoyed doing it.

We pull up at Jessica's house and Gabby's cars parked outside so she must already be inside. When we knock on the door Carson answers which surprises us as her never here during our visits. "So you two bothered to show this week" he says coldly stepping aside so we can come in. "Their in the living room" he mumbles and head upstairs. "Thanks" I mumble back heading into the living room. "Mamma!" DJ squeals excitedly, standing up with open arms the second he sees Ocean. She smiles picking him up and I notice Jessica looking seriously pissed but I don't say anything. "Daddy!" DJ squeals raising his arms out for me. "We've missed you so much!" I coo taking him from Ocean squeezing him tight. "I see your both feeling better" Jessica coldly says. "Much better" Ocean fakes a smiles at her not wanting to get in conversation with her.

After that cold welcome by Carson and Jessica, Ocean and I are sat playing with DJ while Jessica and Gabby sit talking on the other side of the room. Every now and then Jessica chuckles at something Gabby says and DJ looks over at her with the biggest pissed off look on his face. "Is granny still being a bitch?" I whisper to him so they don't hear and he looks back at me and starts giggling.

I go to the kitchen to go get some water and as I'm about to go back in the living room Carson walks in. "Exactly how long is this gonna go on for?" He frowns and I look at him confused "I told you from day one of you wanted Ocean and that kid so bad then to keep them"

"I do want them, that's why I'm here" I frown confused. "When it suits you! If you didn't want take care of that kid then should should have done what I said and dumped it that day at the hospital. Instead of dumping it in my house and you two just show up when you feel like it"

"We don't just show up when we feel like it! We were sick last week and we do wanna take care of him" I snap. "So why is he still here huh?"

"Because Jessica won't sign him back over to us you know this" I frown confused "only because you decided to start beating the shit out of my daughter"

"It wasn't like..."

"Yeah, yeah it wasn't what it looked liked" he's says sarcastically "I'm not stupid I heard what was going on when you two lived next door, just like I noticed those little bruises on her neck and wrist when she came in..."

"That's not what it looks like" I quickly cut him off. I honestly didn't mean to leave bruises on Ocean last night and I didn't actually realise I was holding her that tight until I saw the bruises this morning. Even though Carson clearly noticed luckily she covered it up enough that Gabby and Jessica hasn't noticed "I don't give a fuck about that! what you do to her behind closed doors is your business not mine and that's not what I wanted to talk to you about"

"Then what did you wanna talk to me about?"

"How much?" He sighs taking out his check book and I look at him confused. "Jessica's really bonded with that kid in their and You and I both know Jessica isn't going to just sign him over and I don't like it anymore than you do... how much?"

"For what?" I frown confused "50 thousand? 100?" He says signing a check. "You take this and you and Ocean can really set yourselves up. Nice house, nice cars but this goes no further ok?" He says sternly handing me a check for 100 thousand dollars. "I don't want you money! We want our son!" I snap. Handing it back to him "this money will help you to..."

"What's going on?" We hear Ocean walking into the kitchen. "I was just saying to Michael..."

"I heard what you said! And you can't have him!" She snaps "DJ is NOT for sale he's our baby not yours!"

"I'm not trying to buy..."

"We're getting our son back! Whether you like it or not!" I snap. "I'm trying help you both. I want you to have your..."

"What is going on in here?" Jessica frowns coming into the room. "Your not taking him!" Ocean snaps at her. "Your not gonna turn him into one of you!"

"What are you talking about?"

"I know what you are. You think I don't but I do and your not gonna turn him into one of you!"

"What the hell is she talking about?" Carson looks at me confused. "N- Nothing, look DJs not for sale and that it!" I frown. "What are you talking..." Jessica begins to say. "Your not taking him to him!" Ocean says shakily. "To who? What's the matter with her? What is she talking about?" Carson looks at me confused "n-nothing" I stutter "look why don't we go back in the living room and..." I turn to say to Ocean cutting her off before she's says anymore. "Who's him?" Carson looks at Ocean she's about to speak when Gabby comes in "is everything ok?" She smiles then looks at Ocean concerned. "We're gonna have to go. Ocean's not feeling to good" I tell her motioning Ocean out of the room. "N- no we can't leave we..."

"Baby, It's fine we'll come back next week" I smile heading back into the living room. We quickly say goodbye to DJ and head back to the car before Gabby hears anymore.

We drive away from the house then I pull over once we get off the street and I sit trying to calm myself. I can't believe Carson actually thought we'd just sell him our son like that. Like he was just a piece of old furniture we didn't want anymore. "I told you!... Their trying to turn him into a Demond like them, their gonna take him to the devil so he can make him one of them! we can't just leave him there! Why did make us leave!?" Ocean says shakily and this is the reason Why I had to get her out of there before they heard any of this. "We can't just take him you know this" I say softly trying to calm her "but their gonna..."

"Their not gonna take him to anybody, they can't, that drink we gave him had holy water it remember? So it'll keep him safe while we're not there" I pull her in close to me and she begins to relax and once she's calmed down I start the car again and take her home.

Carson's POV

If they would have just let me finish talking and let me explain. I was trying to help them get Duncan back not buy him! that money would have helped them get set up and helped them get their kid back. I've see how much Jessica is bonding with him and I don't like it anymore than they do, which is why I was trying to help them. I have no clue what Ocean was talking about when she said we were going to take him to someone. I'm not sure what's going but the way Michael practically dragged her out of here when I tried to ask her what she was talking about clearly there's something he doesn't want us to know. But right now all I want is for them both to be out of my life and to take their kid with them. I just wished they'd let me explain.

Jessica's POV

I have no clue what was going on between the 3 of them in the kitchen, but whatever it was Carson said to them it made Ocean and Michael leave quickly, so I didn't bother to ask him about it. I'm just happy he's finally coming around to Duncan being here and he's starting to see Duncan as his own son just like me.

When Sherri comes home I tell her about what happened. "I told you Carson would come round" I smile "and now with him on side we have a way better chance of keeping Duncan"

"That's great news!" she smiles "plus with Ocean and Michael cancelling visits and not bothering to stay all day will help you too. It shows the social worker their not able to cope" she points out. "I know!" I say excitedly "Anyway I should get this little one to bed" I smile picking up Duncan. "I see you've managed to settle him down more" she smiles. "He's not biting as much these days either" she smiles. "He must have picked it up from another child at daycare. I'm glad he's growing out of it" I smile taking him upstairs.

"Ok shall mommy read you a bedtime story?" I smile at Duncan, laying him down in his crib then turn to get a book from the self. "Bitch!" I hear Duncan say and I turn back to him in shock and his stood up in his crib. "Who told you that word? That's a bad word" I say sternly "Bitch!" He points at me and giggles. I'm really going to have to speak to them at the daycare, nobody in this house uses language like that so I know he must be getting it from there.
