Emma's POV

Michael called and said he'd be over shortly. I finish getting ready and I have butterflies like crazy. I decided to wear a plain shirt and a short skirt, nothing to revealing but enough to catch his attention. As I'm fussing around with my hair I get a text from Michael saying he's at the back door.

I open the door smiling inviting him inside "hi" he smiles nervously "hi, you know you could have just used the front door" I giggle "I was worried you neighbours might see" he mumbles looking around "this is a really nice place" he smiles sitting on the sofa "thanks, I'll go get us some juice" I smile.

We sit talking and joking around for awhile then Michael suddenly becomes silent "is everything ok?" He looks away from me guiltily "I'm sorry for what I said" he mumbles "it's fine I already told you" I smile rubbing his shoulder. "I was just in shock. The whole thing just got sprung on me and nobody even gave me a chance to think"

"And have you thought about it now?" He nods nervously "I've been thinking about you a lot lately but there's something I don't understand. Why would you wanna marry me? You never even liked me when we were kids" I lift his face so he's facing me "Michael, I've always liked you" I confess "even if you didn't like me back" I sigh. "I liked you. I just always thought you'd never like me" shake my head smiling "your just saying that"

"I tried to kiss you once, do you remember? It was the summer our families went on vacation together" I roll my eyes playfully "I remember, and I also remember at that exacted moment Marlon ran behind me pulling my pants down"

"That had nothing to do with me I swear" he protests and I look at him skeptically "I actually thought you were gonna be girlfriend that summer that's why I tried to kiss you, then Marlon ruined it" he sighs "well I'm here now" I smile. "Are you sure?" I nod and he leans over kissing me softly. As our kiss deepens I feel his hand slowly moving up my leg and I move it away "I thought you wanted this" he says confused "I do its..." I look away feeling myself blush "are you a virgin?" I nod turning back to him. "I'm supposed to stay pure for my husband until my wedding night" he smiles pulling me into him "but I thought you wanted to marry me?" He asks confused "I do but..." He shakes his cutting me off "then you will be pure for me"

"What if we do something else?" I smile starting to kneel down and quickly he stops me "no! I don't like that" he says looking uncomfortable with the idea "I want all off you" I smile nervously "let's go upstairs" he says taking my hand. We get half way up and Michael gets a text "I'm gonna have to go" he says heading back down "what's wrong I thought.." He cuts me off "I do, I really do but I need to go and help a friend of mine right now"

"Typical always helping others" I giggle "I'll come back tomorrow?" I shake my head "I'm working tomorrow we can meet Friday?"

"Ok, I'll come over in the afternoon" he nods "but, can we please keep this just between us for now?" I look at him confused "I just want to get to know each other better without our parents getting involved" I nod agreeing "you won't tell anybody about...you know?" I stutter "no swear. What me and you do or are going to do is just between us I promise" he smiles kissing my temple before leaving.

Michael's POV

While I was at Emma's house I got a text from Ocean telling me to come to the hospital as soon as possible. She put a smiley face at the end of the message so I know it's nothing bad. I head home to take a quick shower, brush my teeth and change my clothes before I get there.

I get to Ocean's room and stop in the doorway for a moment smiling. "Surprise" Ocean says softly, smiling at me. I walk over and sit on the bed still not saying anything. all I can do right now is smile seeing Ocean cradling our son for the first time. "Do you wanna hold him?" I nod and she places him in my arms. "I've been waiting so long for this" I croak smiling down at him, as the tears start falling down my cheeks.

Ocean's POV

The doctors have said that DJ an I should be aloud to go home by Friday. The nurses have been great all day going through some stuff with us like showing us how to bath DJ and feeding. I had to pump my breast milk while he was in the incubator but now I'm breastfeeding him properly. It was really tricky at first but I started to get the hang of it pretty quick. Even though I'm happy about the news I'm worried about leaving incase something happens.

After the nurse leaves Michael and I are alone with DJ and I start to tell him about my worries. "Do you think it's too soon to take him home? What if he's not ready or something happens or..." He pecks my lips cutting me off "everything's gonna be fine and your gonna be a great mommy" he smiles "but what..." I begin and he cuts me off again "I'm gonna be there with you ok? I'm not gonna be one of those dads that just goes to work then comes home and does nothing. I'm gonna help with you everything. Your not gonna be alone" he smiles handing DJ to me. "Oh My God!!!" We hear LaToya squeak coming into the room "I have waited so long for this!" She walks over excitedly taking DJ from me and kisses his forehead cuddling him "no hello or how are you?" Michael giggles "hello, how are you?" She mutters cooing over DJ.

LaToya's POV

When Michael goes to the bathroom Ocean and I are alone and I notice her smile turning more into worry "everything's gonna be ok" I smile "your gonna be in a house full of people so if you stressed or not sure about something you always have someone to go to" she smiles pursing her lips "is it that obvious?" She giggles slightly "your a first time mother of course your nervous and you know as your sister in law you can always come to me right?" I ask seeing something else is bothering her "I'm fine" she fakes a smile and I look at her skeptically "what is it?" She doesn't answer me for a moment and looks at the ground "I think Michael's going off me"

"Of course he's not!" I say surprised she'd even think that "well he doesn't stay as long as he used to and every now an then he gets these calls and he always leaves the room" I lift her head up so she's facing me "Michael loves you ok? And the reason he's not been here that much and all those calls is probably because he's getting everything ready for the two of you coming home" I reassure her "When he's at home all he talks about is you and Duncan and when he's not talking about the two of you he's running around making sure he has everything because he wants it all perfect for you both" I smile and pull her in for a hug "I'm sorry, I must sound so paranoid and selfish right now"

"Just a little, but don't worry about it remember you've been stuck in this room for what must have felt like forever. I'd go crazy too" I giggle making her laugh.

On the way home I decide to have a little talk with Michael. "You need to spend some more time with Ocean and Duncan I blurt out and he looks at me confused "I visit them everyday and I'm there hours at a time"

"I know but sometimes you'll either be on your phone or thinking about what you need to do next" I explain "I've just been getting things ready"

"I understand that you want everything to be perfect but you have to remember that while your out doing whatever Ocean and Duncan are stuck in a room all day and night and it's only natural she'll be feeling kinda neglected" he looks at me and I can see he's hurt by my words "she said that?" I shake my head "not exactly but she does need you to spend more time with her" I smile pursing my lips "and I will, I told her that and I'm gonna help out with DJ as much as I can. I just..." He pauses for a moment and sighs "I just want them home" 

"And they will be soon. This time on Friday you, Ocean and Duncan will all be at home" he smiles at me for the first time since we got in the car. "I can't wait!"

Michael's POV

When we get home I tell everybody the good news about Ocean and DJ coming home and everybody's really excited. It starts getting late so I head off upstairs and get ready for bed.

Before I go to bed I call Emma quickly "Hey, listen about Friday I'm gonna have to go into work in the afternoon so I can't make it" she sighs disappointed "what about Friday morning? My parents will be out and won't be home till late"

"Friday mornings perfect" I smile down the phone. After I finish my call Joseph knocks on my door. "You still up?" I turn and smile "I'm just about to go to bed"

"Well you try and get as much rest as you can the next few days ok? Your gonna need all the energy you can get once your wife and son get here" he smiles "it's still weird hearing that" I chuckle "weird in a bad way?" He asks concerned "definitely weird in a good way!!" reassure him. "Good! Well like I said get as much rest now while you can because you know once that baby's here you and Ocean ain't gonna get a full nights sleep for a loooong time" he chuckles. Before leaving me to finish getting ready for bed
