Ocean's POV

Michael and I are taking Janet to the doctors today and I can see she's really nervous about it. She's been like this for days now. We didn't see or tell anyone with DJ because we were to scared, but we did with Nevaeh and I was just as nervous about going for the the first time like she must be, but, I've reassured her many times everything is going to be OK. And Michael and I will be with her the whole time, if she wants.

I go downstairs for breakfast and Janet is sitting quietly just staring at her food. "her what's wrong?" I ask softly and she shakes her head "nothing"

"are you still worrying about this afternoon?"

"do I really have to go?" she mumbles "it's just a check up to make sure you and the baby are ok. I promise it's nothing to worry about" I smile "but I'm fine" she shrugs "there just gonna check your blood pressure and stuff like that. Your health is important to you know, just try to relax" I smile and she gets up and walks out as Michael is walking in. "what's wrong with her?" he asks, looking as confused as me. "I'm not sure. She's still saying she doesn't wanna go"

"well she needs to. Even if she wasn't pregnant, she should go get checked out. She's not looked right and been off her food for days now. I think it's more than just this check up that's bothering her" he says concerned. "maybe you should try talking to her"

"didn't you just try that?"

"well yeah, but your her big brother and she'll confide in you more than she would me. So if something is bothering her she'd be more likely to talk to you about it"

"I guess I could try" he says getting up from the table and goes to fine Janet. I really hope Michael can find out whatever's bothering her. Like Michael said even if she wasn't pregnant, something's clearly wrong.

Michael's POV

"Janet can I talk to you for a sec?" I ask softly opening her bedroom door and she nods "Is everything ok with you?" I ask softly sitting beside her. "your baby's fine" she mumbles "that's not what I asked you" I say ignoring her 'your baby' comment. "I'm fine" she shrugs "what's wrong?" I ask refusing to believe she's 'fine' "I heard you and Ocean talking about moving to Miami" she mumbles and I look at her confused."but you already knew we were moving"

"Randy told me, you were both staying here, because you couldn't handle having another baby and being so far away and you didn't want it, then I heard you and Ocean talking about things your sending over there before you move and picking baby names and..."

"That's not what I said. And Randy had no right to say that to you" I cut her off. "I said we were thinking about staying here a little longer and I never told him we didn't want your baby"

"so your still moving?" she mutters and I nod smiling through pursed lips. "we were still in the process of getting things set up, and I was really stressed trying to get everything ready when I said those things to Randy, Ocean had just been taken into hospital. There was alot going on that day"

"when will you be leaving?"

"in a month or so, there's a few things left to do and we'll be leaving once everything's all set up. But we'll still visit and call you everyday and you'll be coming to stay with us in a few months too remember?"

"only to give you your baby" she shrugs "then I'll be coming back"

"you think that's the only reason we said you can stay?" I widen my eyes surprised and she doesn't answer "Dunk, Ocean and I love you and so do our kids. We're not just inviting you over because we're adopting your baby if that was the case we just wait until it was born and then leave. We're inviting you because we love you and we'll get to spend time with you and we told you before, your invited to come and visit to any time you want. Which hopefully will be alot"

"you mean that?" she asks and I nod "of course! Your my baby sister. And when your not visiting us in Miami, we'll be here visiting you. Your not getting rid of us that easy!" I chuckle slightly under my breath and she smiles wrapping her arms tightly around me and I hug her back.

Janet's POV

I'm supposed to be going with Michael and Ocean to a doctors appointment today, but I couldn't face it or them. I hate lying to Michael and Ocean and I can see how excited their getting about having my baby especially now everybody thinks Ocean's the one that's pregnant and they both confirmed it.

I'm walking around not really knowing where to go or what to do and I get yet another call from Michael and again I don't pick up. My appointment was an hour ago and I know him and Ocean are going to be mad, especially since they paid alot of money for me to see a private doctor, so I don't have to worry about people finding out. Michael's been really protective about me lately after Timmy told the whole school about me and him sleeping together and Michael always worries that I'm going to get bullied off people if they found out I was pregnant.

As I'm walking around I suddenly hear a deep and pissed off voice behind me. "what the fuck do you think your doing!?" Joseph snaps as I turn around "I-I was just getting some fresh air" I lie "you had an appointment with a doctor and hour ago. Ocean and Michael have been calling you not stop!"

"my phone must be on silent. I'm sorry I lost track of time" I lie once again and my phone suddenly begin to ring "doesn't sound like it's on silent to me" he frowns taking it from me.

"It's me. I've found her she was on her way home and lost track of time. We'll be home in a minute" he hangs up then turns back to me. "so Michael's pissed off with you" he frowns "do you have any idea how much medical bills and private doctors cost!? Their being very nice and paying all your medical bills and taking on your mistake and your just wondering around the streets like some kind of hooker because you don't feel like going!" he snaps "I'm sorry I..."

"I know what your doing and you can forget it! That baby is Michael and Ocean's. Their going to be it's parents not you!! and when they tell you to be somewhere you be there!!. Their being very nice about all this and have even said you can see the kid, but if you keep pissing them off like this, then you can forget it. They'll be gone and you won't see that kid ever again!" he snaps and takes my hand pulling me home and once we get close to the house he quickly let's go and smiles letting me walk into the house by myself. Michael thinks Joseph has changed. But he's actually just the same as he's always been towards me anyway, but puts on an act in front of Michael, because he knows how protective he is of me.

Ocean's POV

"finally!" I sigh in relief as Janet walks in and I go over giving her a cuddle. Where have you been? And why wouldn't you pick up your calls" We've been worried sick!"

"I'm really sorry about the appointment" she croaks trying not to cry. "don't worry about that, we can always book another. We were more concerned about you when you wouldn't pick up" I say softly giving her a hug. She's about to speak when Jermaine comes in with Randy "we're gonna go get some beers for the barbeque" they both smile and head out. "barbeque?" Janet looks at me confused "Yeah, everybody decided we should have a barbeque since we haven't had one for a while... Michael and I need to speak to you about something first" I say in a soft yet serious tone and she looks at me confused. "finally! We've been worried sick! Where were you?" Michael says coming down stairs and gives her a hug "I was with a friend and lost track of time. I'm really sorry" she mutters "well your here now. And we need to speak to you about something" he tells her in the same tone I did and motions her to come upstairs with us.

"I really didn't mean to be late" Janet says timidly as I close the door "it's done now, don't worry about it" I smile at her slightly through pursed lips "that's not what we want to talk to you about" Michael says softly leading her on the edge of the bed and we both Join her "I'm really sorry, but we can't adopt your baby" Michael says softly getting straight to the point "w-what!? But you said you would and...."

"and we also said it has to be your decision and you have to want this one hundred percent and can change you mind at any time. And it doesn't seem like your a hundred percent sure anymore" he cuts her off. "Janet if your having doubts we're not gonna get mad or...."

"I'm sorry" Janet sobs cutting me off and breaks down in tears. "I don't want to give my baby away, but I can't keep it" she sobs and Michael and I pull her close to us. "of course you can keep your baby" I say softly and she shakes her head "I can't"

"why not?" Michael asks confused and she doesn't say anything for a moment. "I just can't do it alone" she mutters "and you won't have to" Michael smiles "because we're here and we'll help you in any way you need" I cut in "I'm sorry" she croaks and Michael pulls her in tighter "Janet you have nothing to be sorry about. This is your baby and always has been. You don't have to adopt it to us for us to help you"

Janet's POV

I didn't tell Michael or Ocean about Joseph telling me I had to hand the baby over to them or that he said he'd adopt it to another family if I didn't give it to Michael and Ocean. I thought they'd be angry or hurt when I told them I didn't want to give them my baby, but they were actually happy and supportive that I want to raise my child myself and they promised me everything was going to be ok and I know that it will because no matter what. Ocean and Michael never break a promise.
