Michael's POV

It's Sunday and we're all getting ready for service. I usually get really bored during these things, but I know Ocean is gonna be there so I know it won't be as boring with her there.

After I get dressed I go downstairs and mother is cleaning frantically "mother the house looks fine!" I chuckle sitting down "fine is not good enough! The Thompson's are coming over for lunch today. we can't let them see the house like this! what would they think?" I look around confused, the whole place is spotless an not a thing is out of place. "Michael!" Mother snaps and storms over, pulling me off the sofa "look what you've done!" I roll my eyes as She starts fluffing the cushion I was sitting on "c'mon we need to go before we're late"

When we get there Ocean and her family are waiting inside and I rush over to her "hi" I smile and she smiles back "Michael! No running!" My mother snaps in a hushed tone and we both giggle "sit with me?"  I ask as everyone starts taking their seats and She smiles following beside me.

The service has been going on a while and some people are getting really bored. I feel Ocean softly grazing her fingers against mine and I smile slightly whilst doing the same. I look at her from the corner of my eye and she's smiling back the same way and I feel this great tingling feeling which I've never felt before. I see her blushing slightly like me and I know she feels it too.

Ocean's POV

I couldn't help but blush feeling Michael touching my hand during service. I really like him and I think he likes me too, I've never felt like this about any boy before.

The Jackson's invited us for lunch today so after service we all went over to their house. we're all sitting at the table and Michael sat next to me. I could see my mother wasn't very happy about it, but she wasn't gonna say anything in someone else's home. even though it was a week ago she's still annoyed about him hugging me. Our parents are sat talking about school and our grades and stuff completely ignoring everyone else. "me and my brothers are all going to the movies tomorrow night do you come with us?" Michael asks, but before I can answer my mother steps in "not on a school night hunny" Michael and I both look down and nod. My dad senses the disappointment and turns to my mother "I'm sure one night won't hurt" he turns to me "I want to back by 8:30" he says sternly "I promise" I nod smiling and my mother doesn't say anything, but I can see the annoyance in her eyes. And Michael and I smile excitedly and carry on eating. While everyone's eating and engaged in their own little conversations, I can feel Michael leg brushing against mine. I look at him from the corner of my eye smiling slightly and I can see him doing the same.

Michael's POV

I'm taking a bath and I can hear my parents talking in their room "No Joseph not tonight...I'm really tired"

"I thought you loved me?"

"I do but..." 

"if you truly loved me you'd kiss it" he cuts her off "fine" she sighs and I scrunch my face in disgust  and quickly get out of the bath not wanted to hear anymore.

When I get to my room I get ready for bed then go and open my window and wait for Ocean. It's 9:30 so she should be finishing her bath about now. I smile when I see her entering her room and walk over to the window "hey" she smiles opening her window and we both lean out a little. We do this every night and it's started to become our little secret routine.

Ocean' POV

Michael and I were talking at the window for awhile and my mother knocks on my door so I quickly close the curtains and she walks in as I'm about to move from the window "what are you doing?" She frowns walking over to me "um..nothing I was just closing my window" she looks at me skeptiaclly and comes closer and opens my curtains. She looks out, but luckily Michael has already gone and She turns back to me frowning "I thought heard you talking to someone" 

"nope" I shake my head inncocently and she smiles kissing my temple "guess I'm hearing things, it time for bed" I smile and give her a kiss goodnight and she leaves.

When I hear her bedroom door close I go back to the window and Michael is back "I have to go now" I whisper he nods and blows me a kiss "goodnight"

"goodnight" I blow him a kiss back.
