Ocean's POV

I woke up this morning to Michael's phone ringing like crazy. "Michael get your phone" I nudge him sleepily trying to wake him but he's such a heavily sleeper. Eventually he gets up to answers it. "Oh shit!!! I'm on my way!" He says to someone on the phone then hangs up quickly getting dressed. "What's wrong?" I ask confused. "my supervisor flipping out because I'm late and he found out I lied about being sick yesterday"

DJ has a check up at the doctors today so Michael is gonna drop me off before he goes in work. After rushing around Michael heads to the car while I finish putting DJs coat on. "How long does it take to put a coat on a baby!?" I hear him shouting from outside. "I'm looking for my for my phone" I shout back. I finally find my phone and I hear Michael shouting at someone outside so I went out to see what was going on.

Michael's POV

I'm waiting in the car, am I'm already late and now Ocean messing around so I get out of the car to go an hurry her up "Ocean!, we have to go now! Quit fucking around!" I snap heading towards the house. "Or what? you gonna drag them out?" I hear Jessica sarcastically say. I turn and see her leaning over the garden gate "why don't you get back in the house and mind your own business?" I snap "when your yelling in the street it is my business!" She snaps back. "What's going on?" Ocean asks walking over with her phone in her hand. I don't answer and keep arguing with Jessica. "Michael just leave it, she's not worth it" Ocean rolls her eyes. "I'll leave it when she minds her own fucking business" I snap looking at Jessica. "Just go get in the car while I get DJ Ocean says and we can hear DJ crying and Jessica frowns at us "have you left that baby in the house alone!?" She snaps. Ocean ignores her at starts walking back Into the house. "I see she's limping....again!... what happened this time? She talking back to you?" She sarcastically says smirking "she's limping because I was up all night fucking her....again" I smirk then turn walking back to the car.

I finally get to work and I see Ray pulling up "your late too?" I say walking over to him "yeah, I stopped off at Dunkin doughnuts. I figured since I was already and hour late what's another 30 minutes?" He shrugs "I hear Jack's flipping out again" he chuckles as we start walking inside.

"this is the 2nd fucking time you've been late!!!! And I don't think I don't know you weren't lying about being sick yesterday!!!!" Jack yells at me. "But I can..." I start to explain and Ray cuts me off "he WAS sick...plus I was hungry" he shrugs eating his doughnuts. Jack frowns then turns back to me "you were seen at the park and arguing in a restaurant. You didn't seem that sick!" He snaps "maybe he was Delusional and thought he was at home?....sick people do that sometimes" Ray shrugs. "This is you last fucking chance!!!both of you!!!" Jack snaps and storms out.

"What's up with you?" Ray asks seeing the frustration on my face "I can't lose this job. I got a wife and kid to support, plus I'm trying to get us a place of our own, but her and my mother kill each other" I sigh "your waaay to tense. You need to chill out more...wanna doughnut?" I shake my head "I'm good....your pretty cheery for someone who's just been told he might lose his job. what's up with you anyway?" He closes the door and walks back over to me "like I just said. your way to tense and you know I can help you with that" he reaches in his pocket and pulls out a bag of Coke handing it to me "dude, I already told you I..." He cuts me off "Mike chill. It's good stuff I promise. I only supply the best" I shake my head giving it him back. "I'm good seriously"

"Look I'll tell you what. Since your friend I'm gonna let have this one for free" he says putting it into my jacket pocket. "Kind of a try before you buy and if you don't like it no problem and if you do you know where I am" he shrugs then walks out.

Ocean's POV

"We better hurry and get home before daddy thinks we ran away" I giggle cooing at DJ walking back from the park with him in my arms. As I get to the house I see Sherri pulling up outside my parents house. I ignore her and keep walking. "Oh good! you remembered you have a child this time" I hear Sherri say getting out of her car "excuse me!?" I frown turning around "your mother told me what happened this morning..what kind of mother leaves a baby alone in a house so you and your boyfriend can go and yell at the neighbours!" I frown walking over to her "that's not what happened! And don't tell me how to look after my own kid!" I snap "well maybe if you were a better mother I wouldn't have to"

Michael's POV

I pull up outside and see Ocean holding DJ arguing with Sherri. I start walking over and I see Ocean slap Sherri across the face. "Hey buddy!" I smile at DJ taking him from Ocean. "You and mommy been missing daddy?" I coo at him. I turn walking inside not saying anything about what just happened (I'm sure Ocean had a good reason) and Ocean follows behind me. "That's classy Ocean! Hitting someone while holding a child!" We hear Sherri yell. We ignore her making our way back into the house.

Shortly after LaToya comes home and we tell her about what happened. "Why don't I take DJ shopping with me and give you guys some rest" she offers,seeing how stressed we are.

Once they both go out, Ocean and I sit cuddling on the couch talking about how stressful our days have been. "I don't get why their so interested in DJ all of a sudden. They never cared when he was born so why now?" Ocean sighs. I sit up cupping her face in my hands, looking into her eyes and I can still see all the hurt in her eyes "Baby, your an amazing mother to DJ and amazing wife to me. What they say or think isn't important. your not Thompson anymore your a Jackson remember? and your my family now" I smile and for the first time since I got home she smiles back at me.

She kisses me softly and I lean in deepening our kiss and start leading her down onto the couch and I hear something light drop on the hardwood floor. "What's this?" Ocean asks picking it up "um, it's not mine a friend gave it to me" she raising an eyebrow "a friend just gave you Coke?" She frowns "how long have you be doing this? And what about your medication?"

"My medications fine" I haven't actually told her but I stopped taking my medication a week ago I've been ok for a few weeks now so I stopped taking it. plus it was making me tired all the time and a little nauseous. "So how long have you've been doing it?" Ocean ask bringing me from my thoughts "I haven't I swear. He gave it me this morning. I told him no but he just put it in my pocket anyway" I explain "why would he just give you this if you didn't ask for it?" She frowns confused "he keeps saying that I looked stressed lately and that would help me relax a little" she stares down looking at it for a moment "did it work?"

"I don't know I haven't tried it. I thought about it but..." I honestly tell her looking at the ground. "But you wanted to?"

"I'm not sure" I mumble and she doesn't say anything and I look back up to face her "do you?"
