Jermaine's POV 

It's LaToya's birthday today and I'm going over to see her. I haven't mentioned it to Michael yet and I'm not even sure if I will because, I'm not sure how he's going to react. Him and Ocean have been so happy lately since they got visitation and I don't them getting upset again.

I head into the kitchen for breakfast and Michael is sat quietly eating his breakfast while Ocean is slamming about looking for something and is clearly pissed off about something. "What's up with her?" I ask Michael sitting next to him at the table. "She wants chocolate spread on her toast but she can't find it" he mumbles and carries on eating. "Oh, had the last of it last night"

"WHAT THE FUCK!!!? WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!!?" Ocean snaps slamming the cupboard door closed. "Relax! Their's some peanut butter in the cupboard" I shrug not seeing the big deal. "She doesn't eat peanuts" Michael mutters quietly. "Well how about we all just have a cup of coffee and I'll head to the store and get some more chocolate spread of it bothers you that much"

"Or drink coffee, just let it go she'll be fine in a minute" Michael says calmly "well what if..."

"JUST FORGET IT!!!!! I'LL JUST STARVE TO DEATH!!!" Ocean screams storming out of the room. "Damn! what's gotten into her? she got her period or something?"

"If she has, she hasn't told me" Michael shrugs and I can see he's upset about something. "What's going on? Everything ok with you two?" I ask concerned. "We're fine" he shrugs "mother called earlier... Asked what time you were coming over" he mumbles and I immediately know why he's so upset. "I was gonna tell you but you guys seemed so happy and I didn't want you getting upset over nothing"

"Why are you going over there? I thought you were on our side?" He asks finally looking up from his food. "Of course I'm on your side! I'm just going over because it's LaToya's birthday that's all" I try to reassure him. "Why don't you and Ocean come with me?"

"For what? She doesn't bother to call and see how we're doing so why should I care about her?" He shrugs. "She still your sister" I remind him. "And DJs my son! and you want me to go to visit a family that doesn't give a fuck about me while my son is in the house just next to them? And why would they want me there anyway? I'm nothing to them anymore remember?" I sigh shaking my head "I'm sorry I didn't think about that. I'm not gonna be there that long I promise. I'm just going to see LaToya" he shrugs disinterested. "It's not really my business or place to tell you what to do"

"I'll be back later ok? Call me if you need anything?" I tell him changing the topic seeing he's clearly getting upset with it and he nods smiling through pursed lips "we'll be fine"

Michael POV

When Jermaine leaves I hear Ocean coming out of the bathroom so I go upstairs to see her

"You feeling better?" I ask going into the room. "I'm fine now" she smiles through pursed lips. "Is Jermaine really going to see your them?" She asks and I nod "it's LaToya's birthday so he's going over to see her for awhile"

"Their gonna turn him against us" She says worriedly and I shake my head taking her hand and pulling her onto my lap. "Jermaine won't let that happen" I smile trying to reassure her but she still looks nervous about it. "How about we go to the store and get that chocolate spread you wanted" I ask trying to cheer her up" and she smiles through pursed lips "sure, you locked the doors and windows and I'll unplug everything" she says getting up from my lap. Ocean's been really safety conscious lately and I think it's all the stress of what's been going on lately. I know I've not been at my new job that long but I'm going to call in sick today so Ocean's isn't left alone all day and to spend some quality time with her just the two of us.

Sherri's POV

I've just finished my lunch and I'm on my way back to work when Jessica walks in with Duncan. "I thought he's supposed to be in daycare today?"

"He was but I got a call from them asking me to come and collect him because he's been biting the other children and hitting the staff with toys again" she sighs "what happened to your face?" I ask noticing a huge scratch on her face. "Duncan happened! I really don't know what's gotten into him lately"

"He's probably got it from his father. All the Jackson men have a temper on them"

"He's only been like this since Ocean and Michael have been visiting, he never used to attack people before"

"They were only here for an hour and we were all with them remember? Its probably just a faze. I'm sure he'll grow out of it soon" I smile through pursed lips trying to reassure her "well let's hope so, if he keeps up like this the daycare might kick him out" she sighs

Jermaine's POV

I feeling kind of guilty coming here without Michael, but I can understand why he doesn't want to come but I can't not see my sister on her birthday either.

After lunch I'm sitting in the kitchen and mother asks me how Michael is doing. "He's doing better now Ocean is there with him"

"He didn't seem so happy when I called this morning" she shrugs "he was just upset because I was coming here but he's fine now"

"So why didn't he come with you if he's so upset"

"Probably because last time he came here you told him never to come back" I point out "Michael knows he can come here anytime he wants he's just being a stubborn because he didn't like that I didn't defend his actions he always did that as a child, if he didn't get his own way or was told something he didn't like then he'd storm off in a tantrum"

"It has nothing to do with him not getting his own way! He doesn't wanna come here because last time he spoke to you, you disowned him and made it clear you didn't care"

"Of course I care!" She frowns "he's my son and he knows he's loved" I sigh shaking my head "no he doesn't! Because you say you say love him then you tell him never to come here again then tell him you care then don't speak to him and now your mad at him for not coming over! Know wonder the poor kids confused! you and Joseph are just as bad as Carson and Jessica!" I snap getting frustrated "we're nothing like them!!!" She snaps "your exactly like them!" I raise my voice "they tell Ocean they love her, then disown her, then want to talk to her then steal their baby then let her move back home and then kick her out! Do you have any idea how much that's messing with their heads?"

"Well they don't exactly make things easy do they? And they didn't steal their baby!" I shake my head in disbelief "that's exactly what they did!! She's 17 and he's 18 they ARE kids! And what this family and the Thompson's are doing to them isn't fair"

"Well they were all grown up enough when they decided to go and make a baby and take cocaine. They can't just play the poor, naive little kids card every time something doesn't go their way!" She snaps "are you serious!? Yes they've messed up in the past but it's the past it's done! and there's nothing they or anybody else can do to change that, but you can't just keep punishing them forever. what your all doing is just cruel and heartless! It's gotten to a point where they don't even know who to trust anymore because every time someone says they love them and they care they turn around and hurt them!" I sigh taking a deep breath trying to calm myself. Mother is about to say something but I cut her off. "I never should have come" I say getting up from by seat "you don't have to go"

"Actually I do, I need to get back to Michael and Ocean before they think I've abandoned and turned against them as well"

Ocean's POV

"Thanks for staying home with me today" I smile at Michael as we lay cuddling on the bed. "You don't have to thank me baby, I wanted to to home with you. If I could I'd would call in sick everyday so your not home alone"

"I was actually thinking about maybe looking for a...."

"Your not getting a job" he cuts me off "you do enough around the house already I don't want you stressing out over a job as well"

"It's just housework" I shrug "it's only what a wife is supposed to do"

"That doesn't mean I don't appreciate it, you spend all day cleaning, doing laundry, you always have a nice meal ready when I get home from work, Plus all the other stuff. And I love you for that" he smiles and pecks my lips "when I go to work and when I come all those things you do that you don't think are a big deal actually make me feel loved" he smiles pecking my lips again "that's because you I do love you" I smile "and I love you too"
