Yashri had been getting ready for the day. She recalled what happened last night and the incidents that happened after the head chef joined the competitor.

Nandini called her "Yashu nashta tanda ho raha hai beta aaj jaldi se"

"Aayi maa.." she replied combing her hair quickly. She placed the comb back on the dressing, wore her earrings, and moved out of the room.

She walked to the dining and settled on the chair. She began to eat the breakfast, Nandini and Karan exchanged glances with each other as she seems to be tensed over something.

Karan signaled to her with his eyes he will handle it. Yashri looked at him and said "I am fine bas thoda sa business mei issue hai aur kuch nahi" She knew the sign language of her parents.

Nandini looked at Karan "ye sab aapki galti hai meri bachi pe sab zimmedari daal di hai.. Jaake dekho toh sahi" she scolded him.

Karan smiled "galti karegi tab bhi seekhegi.. Hamesha hum saath nahi rahenge" he said

"Lekin"

"Papa is right maa" Yashri said

"Yashu... teri chinta rehti hai mujhe aise stress legi toh kaam kaise karegi haan?" Nandini questioned

Yashri smiled "I am not stressed bas soch rahi thi kuch" she thought about Anjali's friend.

Karan eyed her "Yashu happens.. Badi baat yeh hai ki tum apne decisions ke outcome ko accept karke path change karo hmm"

Yashri understood what he meant, she thanked him and left taking her bag.

Bollywood Cafe

Yashri reached and saw only a few customers which is very rare. It had never happened in the past few years. She looked at Anjali who was tensed. She came to Yashri and apologized "mam sorry main aajke baad nahi jaungi uski help karne aap please mujhe job se mat nikalna"

"Relax main tumhe job se nahi nikalungi for helping someone in need.." Yashri said with a smile on her face

Anjali had a sigh of relief hearing her words "thank you mam.."

"Lekin aajse tum sirf yahan kaam karogi waha nahi jaogi got that" Yashri said

Anjali gets surprised to hear it "lekin mam.. Wo akele kaise?"

Yashri gave her a look, Anjali agreed and headed to the counter to commence her duty. She texted him that she won't be able to join him tonight. Yashri went to her cabin and began working. She asked HR to prepare a contract and send it to her in two hours.

She called the head chef and handed him the notice "ye ek mahina ka notice hai! Tum dursi job dekhna shuru kardo"

He was shocked "lekin kyun mam?" he asked

"Kyuki aapke kaam karne ka tarika mujhe pasand nahi aaya aur na baaki chefs ko.. Please leave" Yashri said sternly and the head chef the cabin.

The day passed in a blur, she stepped out of the cabin and saw Anjali working. She moved to her and asked "gayi nahi tum?"

Anjali refused "jana toh chahti thi lekin usne hi kaha mere liye apni job risk pe na daalun main"

Yashri smiled upon hearing her, he seems to be a humble person. She walked out of the restaurant and sat inside her car. Her mother called her "kitni der mein aa rahi hai?" she asked

"Maa.. mujhe bahut zaroori kaam se jaana hai aaj bhi late hoga" Yashri replied

"Yashu.. Sab kaam tu karegi? Baaki ke log marr gaye hai kya?" Nandini asked

Yashri smiled "maa sab kaam karte hai lekin ye galti mujhe hi sudharni hai na final decision toh maine hi liya tha" she said

'Ek dum apne baap pe gayi hai! Thik hai.." She agreed and ends the call.

Yashri drove off to the same route. She stopped the car a bit far away from his vendor shop. She looked at the time on her watch and there were still 10 minutes to 9. The customers were already standing in the queue to get the order.

Sharp at 9 pm, the window opens and he greets everyone "Hello lovely people".

He began to take orders and then prepared the food.

"I am sorry friends lekin meri dost hai nahi yahan meri help karne ke liye toh aapko khud aake apna order lena hoga" he said

Everyone smiled hearing him, Yashri was amazed at the way he was handling everything on his own.

Yashri saw a boy passing by, she called him and gave him the money "waha se kuch bhi khane ke liye leke aao aur ye mat kehna maine bola hai samjhe"

The boy agreed and went to the shop. The kid couldn't reach him and he jumped high "hello uncle!!"

He looked at the boy and smiled "hello little kiddi.. Kya chahiye?" he asked

"Yeh.." he pointed towards the dish.

He prepared it in 10 minutes and hands to the boy. The boy passed him the money but he refused saying "jinhone mangaya hai usne kehna meri taraf se unhe treat"

The boy turned and walked to the car. He came closer and passed it to Yashri. He even told the message the chef passed. Yashri looked in that direction and he was smiling at her.

The boy returned the money to her but she tapped his cheek "Aap rakho kuch le lena apne liye"

The boy chuckled and left from there. Yashri took a bite of his special dish and the taste amused her. It was beyond her expectations. She got down the car and walked towards the vendor shop.

She sat down on the bench crossing her legs. He places the shutter down and gets off. He walked to her and smiled "aap yahan? Aur kuch khayengi?" he asked politely

"Nahi baat karni hai tumse" she replied.

"Kahiye" he said

"Kitna kama lete ho aise 2-3 ghante mein?" She questioned

"Zyada nahi par utna toh ho jaata hai ki bhooka sona na pade" he replied

"Rehte kaha ho?" She enquired

"Filhal toh Anjali ke ghar mein paying guest hun.. Lekin waha ka rent nahi diya na iss mahine toh nikala jaunga" He said making a sad face.

Yashri glared at him "maine puri details nahi mangi thi"

"Aap kaam hi baat kijiye" he said crossing his arms across.

"I have an offer for you," she said and took out the contract from her purse. He settled down in front of her.

"Toh ek mahine mei hi aapko pata chal gaya wo head chef aapke kisi kaam ka nahi hai" he laughed a bit.

Yashri looked at him seriously "main yahan bahut important baat karni hun toh be serious"

He placed his finger on his lips. Yashri said "ek mahina tum trail basis par mere restaurant mein kaam karoge.. Agar I am satisfied then you will be hired permanently" She kept the proposal in front of him.

He tend to think and smiles "aapke ek mahine ke trail ke liye main apna ye popular venture toh band nahi kar sakta na.."

"I am sure tum itne skilled ho ki mujhe convince kar sako you are perfect for head chef position permanently in No. 1 restaurant of the town," Yashri said

He raised his eyebrow "Abhi toh no. 3 pe hai.." he corrected her

"So you know everything," Yashri said

"Yuhi thodi aapko Miss sherni bolta hun" he spoke

"Yeh Sherni panja marna bhi janti hai.. So read the contract and sign it" Yashri said with a smile on her face.

He opened it and was about to sign it. He thought of teasing her a bit "main aapko sochke batata hun"

"Sochke? Main khud yahan aayi hun tumhe job dene aur tum sochke bataoge??" Yashri asked

"Aapki zaroorat hai isliye aap aayi hai.. Uss din main aaya tha lekin aapne meri baat nahi maani.. Mujhe prove karne ka mauka bhi nahi diya" he said

Yashri looked at him "toh ab de rahi hun tumhe mauka take it" she tried to convince him.

He refused, she got up and moved closer to him. He stared at her and smiled "emm.. Aap mujhe khane waali hai kya?" he asked

"Tomorrow morning tum mere restaurant mein ye puch nahi rahi bata rahi hun tumhe got it," Yashri said in a warning tone.

"Nahi aau toh?" he asked

"Toh tum ache se jante ho main kya kar sakti hun! Anjali tumhari dost.. Chupke chupke tumhari madad kar rahi thi ek mahine se.. Main fire kar sakti hun usey you know what I mean" Yashri said with a sarcastic smile on her face.

She picked up her purse and walked away to her car with a smile on her face. He kept on staring at her till she disappeared from his sight. He ruffled his own hair and smiled "Beauty with brain.."
