The night is almost over and it is certain that Mikka is one of the bad guy. Shine feel sad as she trusted Mikka without any reservations; just like Nam, Javi, Monika and Yuzuru. It will be much easier for her accept it if the bad one was Kazumi -she don't like her from the start.

Shine don't know how to at least neutralized the awful feeling she experienced tonight -the sight of Kazumi with Yuzuru and Mikka being a bad guy. She get her Hana's phone out from his purse but she don't know who to text,hence her contacts are limited. Then she think of Shine's phone -a message from Yuzuru will probably comfort her.

"maybe there is a message from Yuzuru" she said to herself.

"But if there is none, it will just sadden you more" Shine's inner self argue.

"I guess I'll just have to gamble with that" Shine firmly said to herself and looked for Shine's phone in one of the drawer on her study table.

Shine let her hands wander inside the drawer. She get to hold of a hard, slim and glossy rectangular thing -it's Shine's mobile. Shine closes her eyes as she bring out the phone and slowly open her eyes again. Shine saw a message from him and somehow it made her feel happy. Shine hurriedly open his text.

03-02-2015 9:00 p.m

Hello! It's been a while since my last message. The thing is, I am really trying not to text you...to know my LIMIT, and my limit is just today. I know if you are here, you will be mad at me for not contacting you. But I feel that I really need to test myself, how long I can detach myself to you. More than a month of not texting you makes me crazy...as in really insane. I'll need to call or text everybody just so that I can stop myself from thinking about you. I even asked Kazumi to go to a party with me tonight. I can't contact Hana too, because as you know I like her and I am afraid that if I become too close to her, she'll be gone too...just like you...She probably hates me now :-( actually, no! I know that she really hates me right now :-( I know how much she dislike Kazumi but still, I choose to bring her with me tonight. She is not talking to me, not even an eye contact :-( I knew this will happen but the pain is just overwhelming....If I can just turn back time I will never do what I did! Then seeing Allen and her from the distance -talking happily, makes me wish, that I was him. When they come back to us just to say their farewell and leave hurriedly together... It's more painful than actually seeing them together...I could have stopped them but I didn't and I hate myself for that...Well, I guess, Hana and me are back to square one again :-(...I hope you can tell me what I should do!...

Shine finished reading. It makes her happy that Yuzuru still thinks of her but at the same time it makes her sad that Hana is really growing into him.

"No I love you for Shine? well, it really saddens me, I guess you are right after all " Shine sadly said to herself.

"Hana, Your Hair is...PINK!" Monika shockingly said as Shine enter her post.

"why are you so shock?" Shine asked with a smile as she settled in a chair.

"nothing!...Did you fight with Allen?" Monika concernedly asked.

"no! why?" Shine said, frowning.

"well, your hair is PINK!" Monika repeat herself with emphasize.

"hahaha! you are funny Monika...This is me! sometimes I can go as far as to color my hair like a rainbow" Shine said proudly to Monika"...and beside it's Valentine's today, I thought I'll change my hair" Shine added with a smile.

"...and I really want to try this" Shine's inner self said as she touched her hair proudly.

"Oh by the way, Did you see the Kazakhstan figure skater, Denis Ten?" Shine giddily pause as she remembers him. "He is cute isn't he? but he is not that tall" Shine finishes with a wide smile as she sit back.

"Yah?" Monika doubtfully said looking at her.

"Oh! I forgot! off course, Nam is the only cute guy out there for you" Shine added mocking Monika.

"Sure Not!"Monika defensively said.

"Yes you do! Actually, I don't get you both. You obviously like each other but no one is admitting it!" Shine said, provoking Monika to tell their real status.

"Honestly, Hana, it is not like what it seems" Monika said seriously as she looked into Shine.

"Can Monika and Nam be like you and Allen? They have secrets that only the two of them can know?" Shine's inner self said the possibilities.

"Whatever it is, I am sure the two of you will figure things out" Shine encouragingly said with a sympathy smile for her.

"HOLA!" Javier loudly said and startled both Shine and Monika.

Monika turn around and she playfully punched Javier's chest.

"Javi!you almost made my heart jump" Monika said.

"This is for you, Monika. Nam said to give it to you today" Javier handed Monika a bouquet and a letter from Nam. Shine stand up and patted Monika in the back.

"See!"Shine said with encouragement to Monika.

"Woah..Hana, your hair- it's PINK" Javier said with the same reaction as Monika.

She ignores his reaction and greet him with a wide smile, instead.

"Hello Javi"

"Hi!"Yuzuru also said, shyly -making his presence also known.

Shine slightly bow to him while Monika is just excited about her flowers and letter - Monika can't notice anyone.

"So! whatsup with you two?" Javier directed his question to Monika.

But before Monika can say a thing Kazumi come out from the ice rink and handed a box to Yuzuru.

"Happy Valentine's day" Kazumi demurely said in japanese.

"Thank you" Yuzuru politely said as he get the box from her.

"I am going back there now Yuzu, I just want to hand that to you" Kazumi said -she act cute- then went back inside the ice rink again.

"She must really like you to be that bold" Javier said directly to Yuzuru.

"In Korea and I think in Japan also, it's actually girls who give chocolates or gift to boys during Valentine's day. March 14 will be the boy's turn to give gift to the girls that they like" Shine interject herself.

"I see...so did you give gift to boys too" Javier now shift his looked to Shine.

"Not yet...but hopefully someday" Shine answered with a weak smile.

"So you are not planning to give anything to Allen today?" Monika join in as she is finally back with them.

Shine can see a hard look in Yuzuru's face.

"We are in Canada, the culture here is different!" Shine said with confidence.

"And speaking of Allen.." Javier said as he lean his left shoulder on the desk.Everyone looked at Allen as he walks toward Shine - with her favorite flowers in his hand.

"For you my dear" Allen said playfully and smile showing his dimples.

"Pink really suit you" Allen added, complimenting Shine's newly colored hair.
Shine can't help it but blushed.

Shine is in her room and suddenly her phone vibrates -Yuzuru is calling.

"Hello?" Shine answer in a questioning tone.

"Hana" Yuzuru said on the other line. Shine can hear him exhale.

"Yuzuru?...why did you call?" Shine asked with curiosity.

"Nothing..." Yuzuru timidly said.

"You call for nothing?"Shine asked sarcastically - she wants Yuzuru to tell her the real reason for his call.

"...I don't know how I should begin" Yuzuru said and exhale -the uncertainty in his voice can be heard by Shine.

"Let me help you! Why don't you start from KAZUMI!" Shine's inner self said irritably.

"What do you want to say?" Shine said instead, giving him encouragement.

Yuzuru sigh.

"I am sorry" Yuzuru suddenly said

"About what...for ignoring me?" Shine said and her voice become cold.

"Are you avoiding me? because if you are you can just tell me; Hey Hana I don't want you to be my friend anymore" Shine added and her anger exploded.

"remember his text to Shine? he don't want to lose you!" Shine's inner self said to calm Shine, but Shine is too angry to listen to her.

"No! It's not like that..." Yuzuru said assuring her. Shine didn't speak and just let him talk more.

"I actually want to speak to you but I can't find the strength to asked you..." he explain further but the clarity Shine is looking for is missing. Shine can hear that Yuzuru take another deep breath before asking"Can we talk tomorrow?"

"Sure..."Shine coldly agree.

"I'll see you in the cafe near the club around 4p.m tomorrow, is that okay?" Yuzuru said. Somehow Shine can hear a relief from his voice.

"4 then" Shine coldly said again.

"...anything else?"Shine added ready to hang up the phone.

"By the way, your pink hair looks cute on you" Yuzuru complimented her. This made her smile and say "you're welcome" before she hang up.

Shine decided to head downstairs and she saw Yuna and Hyeon at the bar.

"Hana!" Yuna called her -she acts the bartender.

"Join us?" Hyeon asked, bring up his glass of what looks like a brandy.

Shine walks toward them and sit beside Hyeon. Yuna bring her a glass of alcohol. Shine give her a questioning looked.

"Don't worry it'll be our little secret" Yuna said with a naughty smile.

Shine is very drunk when she go to her room. Shine throw her body almost immediately in the sight of her bed. Then she suddenly reach for her side table and she let her hand find Hana's mobile. When she finally reach it, she look at it squinting as she dialed Yuzuru's number.

"Hello! Yuzu, you know I am mad at you...I like you and I love you but I am really mad you..." Shine said loudly in her phone and she hang up.
