Shine fixed her eyes to his last text, surprised. Then almost instantly another text from Yuzuru comes in.

NEXT YEAR!!! (Caps lock to make things more intense hehehe)...It went well, I can barely see any marks :-) but the doctor say that I still need to rest and no ice skating for a month for me :-(

"I can't wait to see you again too" Shine said to herself in a low voice.

Shine check her Shine's phone for Yuzuru's text.

Happy New Year :-* I hope you are here with me but... anyways I'll be coming in 2 or 3 weeks and I'll visit you again...Hana and I gotten pretty closed already at least in text. I can't call her because I am afraid I'll be speechless. She is fun and honest. I think I like her... but my heart always belongs to you..I will always love you, Shine. I promise! ;-*

"So now you like her?" Shine insecurely said to herself and put her Shine's phone aside.

Nam, Javier and Monika arrived in Shine's residence. Shine approach them with a smile.

"Welcome to my humble abode" Shine said welcoming them -she don't want them to notice the emptiness she feels.

"Nothing about this is 'humble' " Nam said in a low voice as they walk in. "You're really something Hana!" Nam added stunned by how big Shine's new resident is.

"Yeah It's big but it's empty" Her inner self said with a sad voice.

"How many people live in here?" Javier asked as he also show his amazement.

"Eight: My fake parents, pretentious Me, other 5 super agents dress as maids and chauffeurs" Shine's inner self said sarcastically.

"Ahm about 8 I guess...My parents, me, 3 maids and 2 chauffeur" Shine answer counting.

"Can you adopt me?" Javier jokingly said.

"Trust me Javi you wouldn't want to live my complicated life!" Shine's inner self said.

"I think living with me is not really the best idea, Javi" Shine said instead and laugh a little.

Hyeon and Yuna join them and Shine introduce them to the group.

"Guys these are my parents Hyeon Kim and Yuna Shin..." Shine pause as Nam, Javier and Monika alternately shake the hands of Hyeon and Yuna.

"They are married in case you are wondering, why their surnames are different. Korean women doesn't need to really change her name to her husband's but the children will always get the father's surname, if the father is available and willing to do so" Shine interject with a smile. She see a clear expression in their faces.

"Where do you want your visitors?" Yuna asked Shine with a bright smile of a mother.

"We'll have the yard...we want to see the fireworks later" Shine said looking at Yuna.

"Well, I guess we'll have the indoors then" Yuna said with a smile. Shine looks surprised and has a questioning expression in her face that Yuna read clearly. Yuna brushes her hands to Shine's hair and smile to her.

"Elvin and his wife, Maria will be coming. So is Brian and his partner. Allen and his parents will be here too. Oh I think he said he will bring Min and Min's parents too" Hyeon said with a wide smile in his face. Without a word, Shine let Yuna and Hyeon know how thankful she is for letting her celebrate with her family.

It's winter but the yard doesn't feel that freezing because it is surrounded by a fire  torch that also act as the light. The big grill also help to put up the temperature. In the patio, a fire pit is lit and they all seat around it.

"Good luck Nam for the Nationals" Shine said as she sit back.

"Yeah good luck Nam!"Javier second.

"I am nervous about it actually" Nam said smiling but Shine can hear a scared tone in his voice.

Monika patted Nam's back giving him an encouragement.

"You can do it! With P.Chan's absence, you are the man to really look up to" Monika said and smile.

Shine move forward from her chair and proposed a cheers for Nam.

"To NAM!"Shine loudly said as she raised her glass.

"To Nam!" Everybody second followed by the sounds of the clicking glasses.

"May you take home the gold medal" Shine continue with a smile.

Everyone is happily taking a sip in their drinks when Yuna slide the door open and walks toward them.

"I am just going to borrow my daughter for a minute ok?" Yuna said to them with a friendly smile. Everyone nodded and Yuna put her hand in Shine's shoulder to assist her from standing. Shine look at Yuna, puzzled but Yuna is not saying a thing and just keep pushing Shine inside.

Once inside, Shine almost run excitedly when she saw Mom, Dad and Min standing with Allen, but she choose not to.

"Allen! Min!" Shine greets them happily.

"I hope you don't mind that I brought them here!"Allen said referring to her parents and Min.

"Hi! Hana, Allen is not kidding when he said he will bring me to a palace" Min said with excitement to his voice.

"He is so cute and innocent" her inner self said wanting to pinch Min's chubby and rosy cheeks.

"We are Min's parents nice to finally see you, Hana" Mom lied and smile. "Min always talk about you to us...I hope he is not a headache for you at the club" Mom added.

"Min will never be a headache to me!"  Shine inner self said.

"No! not at all, if anything, I feel Min is like the little brother I never had" Shine said and smile widely.

Shine and Allen join the group again as Min is already sleeping in one of the guest room.

"What are you guys talking about?" Shine asked as they take their seats.

"You really want to know?" Monika said with a mysterious tone in her voice.

"Ahm yeah!"Shine said with a 'off course' tone in her voice.

"Okay! but Allen please don't be mad at us " Nam said looking at Allen -Nam sounded serious.

Allen nodded.

"We are talking about how Yuzuru and Allen courted Shine"Javier said without any reservations.

Shine frown as she is waiting for them to continue.

"Allen is very determine and he always picked up Shine and Min in the club. We even saw him prepare this event for Shine" Nam said frowning as he tries to remember the details. "And honestly, we really thought that Shine will choose him" Nam added referring to Allen.

"Shine and Allen now each other since they were little but I guess you already now that" Javier continue Nam's story looking at Shine.

"..and I don't know everything because I am not around during those times" Monika interject making the mood lighter.

"And we don't know how or why or what happened between them because until now Yuzuru is not giving us details. But one thing is for sure, we are all really shocked that Yuzuru and Shine ended up together" Nam said in a curious tone.

"I'll tell you why? It's because he show me what love really is all about!" Shine's inner self said with emphasize.

"Maybe, for her Yuzuru is the right choice" Shine said defending herself. "Yuzuru and I, we've been texting each other since the day we've met" Shine added hesitantly but she continue anyway " ...and he is really nice, funny and easy-to-talk-to kind of guy" Shine finishes to defend Yuruzu.

Shine can see the puzzled look in all of there faces.

"So, you and him been texting?" Monika shockingly asked.

"Yes" Shine nodded. "I mean, why it's so shocking? Kazumi also text him!" Shine added as if it's nothing.

"Good point!" Javier said complimenting Shine. Nam and Monika looked at Allen, waiting for his reaction.

"I am not worried with Hana texting Yuzuru, beside this time I am not giving up Hana for him" Allen seriously said and smile to lighten his aura.

"Yeah! you don't have to worry about that because for all we know Shine still owns him" Nam said with a smile.

"What do you mean?" Shine curiously asked Nam but Monika answer her instead.

"You know, Yuzuru didn't believe Shine is gone even though we witness her burial"

"Or he refuse to believe it, Monika" Nam added looking at Monika.

"Why is that so?" Allen asked frowning.

"He said that there's something wrong. Well, I do understand him, she is his first love and she was just with him after his accident, then one day, she is gone. Everything seems to happened so fast for him." Javier pause and exhale "Poor Yuzu, it must be really hard for him to accept that fact" Javier explain with all the sympathy for Yuzuru. 

"Yuzuru still believe You are alive?!?" Her inner self said with mixed emotions.

"Yuzuru still believe Shine is alive?"Shine asked them demanding for more explanation.
