Diya's POV

"Breaking news: Varun Dhawan and Dia Mathur has been spotted at Lali Guptha's office today holding hands, while the rumor's of them dating are being spread everywhere both of them haven't spoke up on the same but looks like they are ready to make things official"

Lali said reading out an Instagram post of some Bollywood reporter page.

"My name is Diya D-I-Y-A how can someone even get that wrong?" I said looking at the spelling mistake they made.

"At least our picture came out cute" "Ya we are really cute" I said looking at the picture.

"So are you going to be really open about your relationship or are you going to play hide and seek?"

"I don't want my privacy to be invaded"

"Well enjoy while you can because tomorrow will be your first public appearance"

"Oh ya that Holi celebration"

"Ya I know you have been photographed before but this is an event our series have been running as no 1 so you guys would have to interact with the media also a little bit but most importantly you two just have fun"

"But you will be there right?"

"Well.......I would but not around where your event will be happening, actually Samart is bringing his temporary girlfriend tomorrow and is going to ask her to be his girlfriend permanently so he wants me there for moral support"

"It's complicated, can you guys manage alone"

"Ya it will be fine"

"Hello girls what's up" Rohan who just came there said.

"We were making plans for Holi" Lali said excited.

"I am sorry yaar I already made plans with my friends? You want me to cancel?" Rohan asked.

"Oh no, no I will be fine" Lali said with a Smile.

"Oh okay thanks" Rohan said and went inside.

"Are you really okay?"

"Ya it's just that it's our first Holi together I was hoping we would e together"

"Hey can I ask you something?"

"Where is this relationship going?"

"Just because you have a boyfriend doesn't mean you can give me relationship advice"

"Oh come on you guys say you are not in a serious relationship still you guys don't see other people, you live together, cook for each other, take care of each other, work together and no matter how many times you say it's because of his ex-girlfriend he hates doing romantic scenes in front of you"

"You do romantic scenes in front of Varun and your relationship is still going well does that mean you are not in love"I thought for a while.

"Hey this is not about me it's about you"

"Are you sure?"

"Lali I am gonna kill you"I said and she laughed.

"So seriously where is this relationship going?"

"I don't know, but it is going somewhere special that's for sure"

Varun's POV

"Shaan you are a part of the team you belong in front of the camera not behind it" I said as I and Diya posed for the paparazzi's.

"Ya he is absolutely right just come and stand with us" Diya said.

"Okay fine but after this I am going back to work" Shaan said as he handed the camera to Samart and came forward.

"Shaan Smile a bit okay" Ruby said.

Sid's POV

"This place looks great yaar I am glad we came here to celebrate Holi" Rohan said.

"Ya me too it has been so long since the four of us did something fun" Meena said.

"Ya we are going to have so much fun" Aditi said.I pulled Aditi aside as Meena and Rohan walked forward.

"Aditi you sure she is going to be here" I asked.

"That's what I heard but I am not sure"

"I will go back in a few days and today is like my last chance to talk to her"

"Be patient and let's hope she will be here, and for the mean time enjoy"

Ruby's POV

"We danced and played Holi and enjoyed thoroughly" Rohan said.

"Same goes with me and Varun" Diya said.

"Everything felt magical that night" Sid Said.

Sid's POV

In between the celebrations I stopped to look at Meena She was looking beautiful as always, at that moment being with her felt just........perfect.

But that was when in between the crowd I saw Diya, without thinking I rushed towards her leaving Meena behind.

Diya's POV

"Lali where are you, Varun Just went towards the car I am coming to get you" I said though the phone.

"Ya it's a bit tensed situation here Sruthy rejected Samarth's proposal and stormed out of here I am so confused yaar I don't understand what went wrong she was so into him"

"Oh that's sad I suppose they will figure something out"

"Diya" I heard Sid's voice I turned back to spot him rushing towards me.

"Sid"

"Sid?" Lali asked confused.

"I will call you back" I said as I cut the call and tried to rush away from him but Sid caught up to me anyway.

"Diya wait" He said standing in front of me.

"Why? Why should I wait for you, did you ever take a moment from your life to try and understand how I felt? Did you ever take a moment to try and understand how Lali felt the girl who you claim to have feelings for now? No she was always a second option for you because you spend a ridiculous amount of time obsessed with your ex-girlfriend"Sid stayed silent for a while and then started talking.

"You say you loved me for all those years you say Lali loved me all that while.........so isn't it possible that I felt the same way about Meena isn't it possible I was so much in love with her that I just couldn't think of anyone else"

"Still doesn't justify you breaking her heart and making her leave town""I didn't mean to do that, what the hell happened that night anyways?"

"Oh my god you don't even remember?"

"Do you know what happened?"
"No how will I know"

"All I remember is she kissed me and walked away"

"She kissed you?" I asked shocked.

"That's what you took from that?"

"Okay Sid listen she doesn't wanna meet you I think you should respect that if she is really for you destiny will unite you, Bye Sid" I said and walked away.

"Diya wait" Sid said and I turned back.

"Is she happy?"

"She is" I said with a smile.

Ruby's POV

"It was hard for me to accept the reality but I decided to forget all about Lali and move on we had finally packed up the shoot of the music album and I walked out of the sets after telling my final goodbyes to everyone my time to go back home was approaching" Sid said.

Sid's POV

"Maybe it's for the best you know, what would have I even said to her if I met her" I said to Meena we were at a bar.

"I am proud of you Sid, hey look Varun Dhawan"

Meena said pointing at the TV nearby in which an award night was being shown live. Varun was standing on the stage ready to announce the winner's name.

"You know this event is happening nearby"

"Oh wow"

"Diya Matur" He said and I looked at the TV shocked. Soon I was Diya walking towards the stage like a Queen.

"Isn't that the girl you came to meet?" Meena asked.

"Yes"

I said as we watched her receiving the award from Varun and some of their cute moments they looked really close.

"Did you know she was so good at what she does?" Meena asked as Diya got off the stage and they proceeded to the next award.

"No idea"

"How self-involved are you?"

"Hey I was thinking about............."

"Lali Guptha" I heard from the TV.

"Wow, were you saying it so many times that the TV started correcting you?" Meena asked.

Both of us looked at the TV and after all this time I finally saw Lali's face, without thinking I ran outside.

"Hey you are my ride back" Meena shouted from behind but I kept running.

Ruby's POV

"Now I wish I would have waited a few seconds more because then I would have seen Rohan who was sitting next to her"

After a lot of struggle I finally reached the destination I saw Lali Standing near the entrance a smile appeared on my face which quickly vanished as I saw Rohan walking towards her they were talking and the looked really happy.

For a second Lali turned towards me I was damn sure she saw me after which she leaned forward and kissed Rohan, I felt weak as she walked back inside followed by him. I was going to walk away but someone held me back, it was Diya.

"Now do you understand how she might have felt seeing you with Meena?" She asked.

I looked at her with my tears filled eyes. Suddenly her expression softened.

"I am sorry"

She whispered.Feeling weak I hugged her and started crying letting out all my emotions.
