__ Author's POV __

The girls go with B5 to the food court. They all got something to eat and then sat down at a table. They chatted for a little while and were having a pretty good time. Then Patrick and his girlfriend Amber walked over and sat down at the table...

PATRICK: "'Sup fam!" (smiles)

DUSTIN: "Yo, Pat, where y'all been?"

PATRICK: "We were checking out different stores and we got some Cinnabon! Who are they?"(looking towards the girls)

DUSTIN: "They're fans of ours."

REESE: "Omg, Patrick, we love y'all!!"

PATRICK: "Thanks. What's your name?"

REESE: "I'm Reese."

NICOLE: "Nicole."

RAVEN: "I'm Raven."

PATRICK: "Nice to meet you..." (smiles)

GIRLS: "Nice to meet you, too!"

PATRICK: "This is my girlfriend, Amber."

AMBER: "Hi." (she smiles)

GIRLS: "Hi." (they grin)

Amber and Patrick take a seat at the table, and everyone continues eating and chatting.

KELLY: "So... are you girls in school? And are y'all from Atlanta?"

RAVEN: "Yeah, we're from here. I'm gonna be a junior in college this year." (smiling)

REESE: "Yeah, Raven's my older sister. Me and my bestie Nicole are gonna be freshman in college."

DUSTIN: "That's cool. What college y'all goin' to?"

REESE: "Georgia State!"

PATRICK: (surprised) "That's the college me, Carnell and Bryan go to."

NICOLE: "Really?! That's amazing -- maybe we can hang out then." (winks at Bryan)

BRYAN: (looks uninterested) "Uhh... maybe."

CARNELL: "How old are you guys?"

REESE: "Me and Nicole are 19. My sister is 21."

NICOLE: "We got another friend in our lil' crew that's 18, but she couldn't make it."

KELLY: "Oh. Is she a huge fan of B5, too?" (chuckles a little)

NICOLE: "Mhm."

KELLY: "What's her name?"

NICOLE: "Gia." (smiles)

KELLY: Cool..." (he nods)

DUSTIN: "So, how come she didn't come to the mall with you guys?"

REESE: "She's probably doing homework and finishing her book list before classes start. That girl is strange." (rolls eyes)

PATRICK: "Homework in the summer?!"

RAVEN: "Yeah... Gia is serious about her studies."

KELLY: "I'm guessing she gets all A's?"

REESE: "Yup. A genuine teacher's pet..."

CARNELL: "Well, what's wrong with liking school?"

Everyone looked at him like he was crazy.

PATRICK: "Only a NERD would say that." (laughs)

AMBER: (grins) "Aye, don't pick on Carnell, he has a point."

CARNELL: "Thank you, Amber! I mean, isn't that what college is about? Learning more about your studies?"

NICOLE: "I guess. All I know is, I'm gonna find me a man in college." (smiles and fixes her hair)

REESE: "You mean several men, Nicole?" (raises an eyebrow at her)

NICOLE: "Shut up. Don't hate 'cause guys like me better."

REESE: "Right... well, at least I know how to have fun."

NICOLE: "Oh right. Having fun like going to parties every weekend, getting drunk, and flunking your tests?!"

REESE: (mad) "I don't get drunk!"

NICOLE: "Might as well the way YOU be actin'!"

REESE: (still mad) "Oh! And all this coming from the girl who sleeps around with different guys each week!"

RAVEN: "HEY!! And that's the end of this conversation! Dang. Why are acting like that here? You guys need to calm down; stop trying to go hard on each other, alright?"

Awkward silence...

BRYAN: "Wow..."

KELLY: (laughing quietly and shaking his head)

PATRICK: (sits wide-eyed, awkwardly)

DUSTIN: "So... um, how about those Bulls? Did you see the game Sunday?"

PATRICK: "Yeah, man, they were playing real hard..."

Awkward silence...

RAVEN: (sigh, embarrassed) "Well, I better take these crazy chicks back home. Sorry for all this--"

PATRICK: "Oh it's no problem. Nooo problem at all." (smiling big)

AMBER": (hits Patrick)

PATRICK: "What?!"

DUSTIN: "Well, it was nice meeting you all. Hopefully we'll... bump into each other real soon." (winks at Raven)

RAVEN: "Yeah, maybe." (smiles back)

KELLY: "Maybe we'll see you guys at school next week?"

RAVEN: "Yeah, we'll be there. Have a good rest of your day!"

They say "bye" to each other and Raven, Nicole, and Reese walk to their car. Nicole and Reese are still quiet and obviously mad at each other.

*In the car*

RAVEN: "What is wrong with y'all?! Being disrespectful especially in front of those guys. I mean, they didn't need to see all that.  We tryna show them that we're good fans and people, and you act like you have no common sense? I'm just speechless right now... (shaking head while driving) And Reese, don't put Nicole's business out there, especially considering her love life. Have some sympathy -- she just got out of a break-up today."

REESE: (crosses arms) "Sorry, mom."

RAVEN: "You know what, Reese, don't even start with me. You know what you did was wrong."

REESE: "Nicole started it."

NICOLE: "Don't blame me 'cause you a party freak--"

REESE: "Say one more lie about me again--"

RAVEN: "Guys just stop it, okay? All I know is I'm gonna drive us home, and I better not hear any more shenanigans. Just leave all that behind, okay?"

NICOLE/REESE: "Okay..."

__ Reese's POV __

At home, I walked upstairs to my room and laid down on my bed. I know what I did today was possibly out of character, but I was speaking truth. Nicole has a different guy each week and only cares about how she feels, not anyone else. But whatever, she's still my girl... maybe I can help her instead of hurt. 

I walked to our guest room where Nicole was staying for the night and opened the door. She was sitting in bed listening to her iPod.

REESE: "Nicole, I'm sorry..."

NICOLE: "I can't hear you."

REESE: (takes earplugs out her ears) "I said I'm sorry, Nicole. What I did today was childish and uncalled for. You still my girl."

NICOLE: "Whatever."

REESE: "Are you gonna say sorry?"

NICOLE: "Um..."

REESE: "Nicole!"

NICOLE: (sigh) "Okay, I'm sorry. Now get out!"

REESE: "Fine, rudeness." (leaves)

__ Nicole's POV __

Reese just came in my room and apologized, and so did I. I'm honestly over the whole situation and I hope we don't have to go through this again because Reese is too good of a friend to lose. I know we joke sometimes, but sometimes we push the wrong buttons. Anyway, I continue to listen to music to relax. The song "Gimmie Dat" by Ciara plays and I start dancing. Dancing always calms my nerves.
