*ONE WEEK LATER*

__ Raven's POV __

It's been one week since that little "incident" at the club, and things are lookin' better. Firstly, my shoulder doesn't hurt anymore. Secondly, Reese stopped partying. And thirdly, we haven't heard from Eric in a minute! Haven't even seen him around the campus, and if we do he doesn't say anything -- Haha we got that boy scared! That's what he gets..... -____- 

OH! Did I mention I have a new boyfriend? Guess who it is?! Mhmmm! DUSTIN BREEDING!! Eeeeek, I'm soo happy in life right now! Dustin's such a sweet, handsome, muscular, intelligent, sensitive guy... he really is! I love being with him <3

Today, Dustin and I are at the park and we're gonna have a picnic! We brought a lunch basket, a blanket, some water, and oven baked brownies that I made myself. We sat down, ate some lunch, and started to chat...

DUSTIN: "Girl, these brownies will be the death of me. (chuckles) They're really good!"

RAVEN: "Thanks. (chuckles) How do you like the BBQ pulled pork sandwiches?"

DUSTIN: "They aight..."

RAVEN: "I told you they needed more sauce, but NOOO--"

DUSTIN: "Hey, it's not my fault -- it's my first time making it!"

RAVEN: "I know. And you did... okay. (eats a brownie)

DUSTIN: "Just OK?"

RAVEN: "Yeah. You know, this is better than that mac 'n' cheese you made yesterday. You almost got your whole family sick. That stuff tasted like CEMENT! (laughs)

DUSTIN: "Whatever man, don't hate."

RAVEN: "Hehehe! It's alright, boo, your cooking teacher will help you."

DUSTIN: "I appreciate it." (kisses her on the cheek)

RAVEN: "So, how is B5 coming along? Any major moves to look out for?"

DUSTIN: "Well, we pretty much got the album finished... we're just waiting on the label. They too slow for me."

RAVEN: "(chuckles) Patience is a virtue, Dustin. Don't stress."

DUSTIN: "Everyone says that... (rolls his eyes) Anyways, I think Carnell was talkin' to Reese about her recording a single with us."

RAVEN: "Really?! That would be hot! This could be a chance for Reese to bump up her singing career, too." (smiles big)

DUSTIN: "Yeah. I haven't really heard her sing too much, but if she's your sister, I know she gotta be talented."

RAVEN: "Oh, she's good! Definitely the most unique voice you've ever heard. B5 and Reese Jackson... I can picture it now."

DUSTIN: "We might meet up tomorrow at the studio. Wanna chill with us?"

RAVEN: "You mean 'you'?"

DUSTIN: "Yep, haha."

RAVEN: "Of course, love. Do you really gotta ask?"

__ Reese's POV __

I had gone to church service this Sunday morning with Carnell. This has probably been my first time at church since I was a little girl. It's so... weird. I feel so out of place. 

We had sat by Ms. Adrian, Kelly, Patrick, Bryan and Gia. All the old people kept staring at me. Like, when I walked in with Carnell, they had nothin' but smiles for him, but once they saw me, it's like they never saw a human before. Like, what's wrong? Maybe it's the way I dressed. I had on a light blue ruffled top with no sleeves, and a short green skirt. On top of that, billions of accessories and some pink high heels. Not to mention my hair was in a messy bun. Hmmm. Yeah I saw those other girls my age eye-balling me -- LIKE DANG CHICK TAKE A PICTURE, IT'LL LAST LONGER! But I was in church, so I couldn't really say what was in my mind.

After service was over, we all got up to leave. Some of the church members were stirring up some small talk...

REESE: (standing up) "Woo! I'm glad that's over..."

CARNELL: "Did you like the service?"

REESE: "It was nice... it's just I'm really tired."

CARNELL: "Oh, okay. Well, that makes sense. You've been doing your homework for your classes this whole week -- probably the most you've ever worked in your life." (smirks)

REESE: "That's hilarious. Don't start, boy--"

CARNELL: "I'm playin'!" (chuckles)

WOMAN: "Carnell!"

CARNELL: "Oh-- hello, Mrs. Daniels. How are you?"

MRS. DANIELS: "I'm doing fine. You look nice today -- such a very handsome young man. How you been?" (smiles while showing all her teeth)

CARNELL: "Oh, I'm fine. Thank you." (smiles back)

MRS. DANIELS: "Mhmm. And who is this... girl?" (looks at Reese with disgust)

REESE: "I'm Reese Jackson, Carnell's friend. Nice to meet you." (fake smiles)

MRS. DANIELS: "Yes, well, nice to see you at church this morning. And Carnell, next time... remember... (whispers) there are plenty of more educated, decent fish in the sea." 

Mrs. Daniels leaves the sanctuary, and leaves Reese wide-eyed with disbelief.

REESE: "Did she just say there are plenty of more decent fish in the sea?! What she tryin' to say--"

CARNELL: "Don't pay her any mind, Reese."

KELLY: "Was that Mrs. Daniels? She WOULD say somethin' like that." (laughs it off)

BRYAN: "Yeah. She got a little granny crush on Carnell." (laughs)

MS. ADRIAN: "Hush, you guys. Don't be talkin' about folk in the Lord's house."

__ Kelly's POV __

As we were about to leave from church, we saw this girl running toward us. Awkward.

RUNNING GIRL: "Ms. Adrian! AHHHHH, HEY GIRL!!" (hugs her)

MS. ADRIAN: (startled) "Hey, sweetie. Uh, who are you?"

PATRICK: (whispers) "Crazy."

RUNNING GIRL: "I was gonna be your future daughter-in-law remember?! I'm Mikayla!"

KELLY: "Oh sh--"

MS. ADRIAN: "Is that so?" (squinches up her face)

MIKAYLA: "YEAH! I was Kelly's girlfriend about two years ago. We hung out everywhere -- we met in college, remember? I used to bring y'all fresh baked cookies every weekend from my grandmama's bakery."

PATRICK: "She brought SOMEONE fresh cookies alright..." (bursts out laughing)

KELLY: (punches Patrick in the gut)

PATRICK: "AGHK-"

CARNELL: "I think I remember you."

BRYAN: "Me too. What about you, Pat? You remember her?"

PATRICK: "Of course I darn well remember her. I bet Kelly remembers her." (winks)

MIKAYLA: "OMG, KELLY?! Oh snap tell me that is NOT you!"

KELLY: (rubs the back of his head) "Y-yeah. It's me... haha. How are you?"

Before I could get another word in, Mikayla ran up to me and threw her arms around my neck. She was hugging me so tight, I thought I would never breathe air again. Mikayla was whispering in my ear saying things like "OH, I Missed You" and "I'm so glad to see you". Feeling her arms around me, I couldn't help but wrap my arms around her waist. I slowly slid my hands down her back to almost touch her butt -- dang, I forgot how big it was. 

WHOA! Snap out of it Kelz!! My mom must have noticed what I was doing and quickly pulled us away from each other.

MS. ADRIAN: "Alright, enough of that. Mikayla, it was nice seeing you, but we have to go now."

MIKAYLA: "Oh, okay. Well... it was nice seeing y'all. Bye mom. Bye Kelly." (huge smile)

ALL: "BYE!"

Mikayla walks away.

MS. ADRIAN: "I am NOT her mother." (rolls her eyes)

BRYAN: "Wow, man. That was crazy. You still dig her?"

KELLY: "Of course not." (biting his lip)

GIA: "So, that was your old girlfriend?"

KELLY: "Yeah, um... yep."

GIA: "Hmm. She's cute. Come on Bryan..." (drags him to Ms. Adrian's vehicle)

That was weird. It almost looked like Gia was a lil jealous. Well, hopefully I won't have to see Mikayla again.

__ Gia's POV __

I grabbed Bryan by his arm and pulled him to the car. I'll hang with him instead. I'm not gonna lie... maybe I was little jealous of Kelly's old girlfriend the first time I looked at her. I mean she's the perfect skin-tone for him, has long flowing hair, a pretty face, a better body then me... Like, her whole outfit was pretty sharp! I'd never be able to wear something like that! 

BRYAN: (inside the car) "Gia? You alright?"

GIA: "Yeah, I'm fine. Enough about me, Bryan. We should do something!"

BRYAN: "Do something like what?"

GIA: "I don't know, just, go somewhere for a day! It would be fun!" (smiles)

BRYAN: (chuckles slightly) "Are you serious, Gia? Why the sudden urge to go somewhere?"

GIA: "I JUST WANNA GET AWAY!! BE FREE!"

As I said this, the rest of the crew were getting in the car. They all looked at me like I was an alien.

PATRICK: "You wanna be free, huh?" (laughs while climbing into the backseat)

GIA: "I was actually talkin' to Bryan, not YOU Patrick -__-"

PATRICK: "Ooohhhhh, someone has an attitude."

GIA: "Shut up, Patrick."

PATRICK: (laughs) "Chill out, Gia."

MS. ADRIAN: "Patrick, stop. Gia, are you alright sweetie--"

GIA: "I'm tired of people asking me that -- I'M FINE! Just completely great..."

After my little outbursts, the ride to the Breeding's home was very quiet. I didn't mean to seem rude or anything. I'm just feeling a lot of mixed emotions. Jealousy; I want someone to make me happy; I feel annoyed or irritated... and Confused. I don't know what's happening to me.

__ Reese's POV __

Carnell and I are headed to the movies. We decided to see the new Spiderman movie; this should be fun! We got our popcorn and our drinks and sat inside the theatre. There were only a few people so far.

REESE: "I have a question."

CARNELL: "OK, shoot."

REESE: "So that girl at church... Mikayla? She was Kelly's girlfriend?"

CARNELL: "Yep, not too long ago. They broke up a year ago or so..."

REESE: "Why?"

CARNELL: (eats popcorn) "Well, let's just say all she wanted was his body, and Kelz was tired of it. Plus he saw her kissin' this other dude at the park. Lame, right?"

REESE: "Mega lame! I would NEVER do anything like that -- and I'm crazy as it is." (chuckles)

CARNELL: "You got that right." (laughs)

REESE: (playfully punches him) "So, since we're on the topic of exes, how many past boo thangs have you had?"

CARNELL: "Excuse you? Only two actually, thank you very much."

REESE: "Two?!"

CARNELL: "Yeah. One in kindergarten and one when I was a teenager."

REESE: "Aww, so sweet!" (teasingly smiles)

CARNELL: "What about you, Miss Thang?" (grins)

REESE: (takes the popcorn bowl and smirks) "Wouldn't YOU like to know."

Hehe. I love teasing Nellz! He reaches for the popcorn but I pull it away, all the way to the other side of me, away from him. I make it so he has to reach over my lap to try to get it ;) He says "Stop playing Reese" but I don't, of course. I make a deal with him that if he wants his popcorn back, he has to kiss me. He said "Come on!" but he kissed me anyways. The feeling of his wet, plump lips on mine is indescribable <3

__ Kelly's POV __

We pulled up in the driveway at our house. It was awkwardly quiet during the car ride. I was the first to get out of the car and walk up our back steps to our door. I waited patiently for my mom to walk up the stairs and unlock the door. As soon as it was unlocked, I rushed upstairs and into my room. I need to listen to music. I found my iPod sitting on my bed, plugged my earphones in and allowed myself to go into a different world... d[-_-]b

__ Bryan's POV __

I walked into the living room/kitchen area with Gia right behind me. Then, someone bumped past me and charged into the kitchen. It was Patrick. Figures.

PATRICK: "Man, I'm starving! What we got to eat?"

MS. ADRIAN: "You live here, you know what we have in this house."

PATRICK: "Yeah... NOTHING!! I need some food!" (frowns)

BRYAN: "Then make somethin'!"

MS. ADRIAN: "I was getting ready to cook anyway. Give me two, hours guys."

PATRICK: (whining) "Aww, I can't wait that long..."

MS. ADRIAN: "Gia, honey, are you planning on having dinner here with us?"

GIA: "Uh, sure. I'll call Raven and Reese and see if they wanna come, too."

BRYAN: "It's gonna be a lot of people."

MS. ADRIAN: "Maybe if you guys are willing to help, it won't be too stressful on my part."

PATRICK: "Raven can help you. She's a cook. (phone rings) Excuse me, I gotta take this call..."

SMH. Patrick is lazy. Anyway, Gia called her friends and told them we were having dinner at our house. Mom also called our cousins, Aunt Terri, and our grandma to come over. It's almost like a family reunion. I showed Gia downstairs to our "music room". I instantly sat in front of the piano and started playing a few chords.

GIA: "You can play piano?" (impressed smile)

BRYAN: "Yeah, I started practicing not too long ago. I like making up random songs." (grins)

GIA: "Ooh, I wanna hear one!"

BRYAN: "I'm not that good, plus they're stupid songs--"

GIA: "Come on, show me! I won't look at you..." (turns around)

I start playing this random song I made up. When I was finished, she turned around with this huge smile on her face.

GIA: "That was awesome!"

BRYAN: "You really like it?"

GIA: "Yep. I wish I could play piano..."

BRYAN: "Sit down, I'll teach you."

GIA: (sits down next to Bryan)

*LATER*

GIA: "Thanks for teaching me to play piano. That was fun."

BRYAN: "No problem, Gia." (grins)

There's a small silence.

GIA: (nervous) "...I need your advice. I-I have this friend... and she is having issues with her emotions."

BRYAN: "Alright, what kind of issues?"

GIA: "... So she likes this guy; ever since she met him, she's been googly-eyed. But then another guy stepped into the picture. And she kinda started having feelings for him, too. What does a girl do in this situation?"

BRYAN: "Oh, wow, that's interesting. Well... I guess, maybe she needs to determine what guy makes her feel comfortable. If he's someone that's always there for her, then that's the one."

GIA: "But what if both guys say they'll be there for her?"

BRYAN: "I always say - 'Actions speak louder than words'. Which guy actually shows it?"

GIA: "Well, the guy I've-- I mean SHE has been hanging out with lately seems to be there for her more. She barely can get a hold of the other one. Plus THIS guy goes to her school."

BRYAN: "Okay, then it's simple. Pick the guy that goes to your school."

GIA: "It's not that simple. I feel-- I mean SHE feels bad just ditching the other guy."

BRYAN: (smirks) "Just do what your heart says."

KELLY: (yelling from the stairs) "YO, MOM SAID COME UPSTAIRS!"

BRYAN: (to Kelly) "Alright, we're coming..."

We get up from the piano stool and head upstairs. It was clear that Gia was talking about herself in the situation. I just wonder who she has a crush on?

__ Raven's POV __

Dustin and I made it to Ms. Adrian's house about 20 minutes ago. Ever since we arrived, I been helping Ms. Adrian in the kitchen along with Liz, Eve, and Ms. Terri. We were cooking up some fried chicken, mac n cheese, green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, potato salad, pasta salad, fruit salad, and some chocolate cake that Ms. Terri bought.

RAVEN: "This is going to taste SOO GOOD!"

LIZ: "I know right." (giggles)

EVE: "I can't wait to eat it!"

MS. ADRIAN: "Thank you guys for helping me. My boys are lazy." (annoyed face)

RAVEN: (chuckles) "No problem. We couldn't risk Dustin making mac n cheese again."

DUSTIN: "HEY! I heard that."

EVE: "She's tellin' the truth, D. You jack everything up." (laughs)

MS. TERRI: "I can't believe my nephews didn't help they momma though. I'm in awe--"

KELLY: "In my defense, I'm not that good of a cook, Aunt Terri."

PATRICK: "Me neither."

LIZ: "Y'all are lying!!"

DUSTIN: "I'm the only one with the excuse -- I'm the oldest." (pops his collar)

EVE: "That doesn't give you an excuse to be lazy, dumb butt."

MS. ADRIAN: "The food is almost ready, so it doesn't matter now. Where's Carnell?"

GIA: "Um, he went to the movies with Reese, but they'll be here."

RAVEN: "Is Reese coming?"

GIA: "She said she would."

MS. TERRI: "Alright y'all, help me set up the table."

*ONE HOUR LATER*

We were all sitting down in the living room and kitchen area eating dinner. I was at the table with Dustin, Ms. Adrian, Ms. Terri, their grandma, Reese, and Carnell.

MS. TERRI: "Carnell, sweetie, is this your special lady?"

CARNELL: "We're just friends, Aunt Terri."

MS. TERRI: "Oh, I see. I remember when I was 'just friends' with my last boyfriend. She's cute." (winks at him while giggling)

CARNELL: "Auntie!"

REESE: "Thanks, Ms. Terri. Carnell, you sayin' I ain't cute or something?"

CARNELL: "No it's--"

REESE: "Mmm, because I know I'm cute! Forget you!"

She pouts, then after a long silence laughs.

REESE: "Just playing."

RAVEN: "You're crazy, Reese."

MS. ADRIAN: "So, do you girls all go to Georgia State as well?"

RAVEN: "Yep, I'm a junior there and my sister Reese is a freshy."

MS. TERRI: "I thought you both were related... I can tell." (grins)

GRANDMA: "Both of you girls are so very pretty."

REESE/RAVEN: "Thank you."

GRANDMA: "You're welcome."

The older adults soon started up their own conversations while the rest of us also had our own convos.

DUSTIN: "So, Reese, you excited about tomorrow?"

REESE: "Recording with B5? HECK YEAH!" (smiles big)

CARNELL: "The question is, can you actually sing?"

REESE: "Of course! I'm the next Beyoncé."

RAVEN: "She's really good, Carnell."

CARNELL: "I bet she is." (wiggles eyebrows)

RAVEN: "Uh, alright, Carnell we don't need all that."

CARNELL: "Don't hate." (chuckles)

DUSTIN: "YO, who's up for some chocolate cake?!"

__ Kelly's POV __

I'm chilling on the couch beside Bryan, Gia, Liz, and Eve eating dinner. The food was addicting! We were just having some little small talk.

KELLY: "I'm 'bout to get some more food."

EVE: "Fatty..." (shaking her head)

KELLY: "Coming from the one who ate five pieces of chicken and five helpings of mashed potatoes." (laughs)

EVE: "Shut up, we're not talking about me."

LIZ: "I'm sorry you have to listen to this, Gia. My sister and cousin are muy loco!" (chuckles)

GIA: "Haha, it's fine. It's entertaining; I don't get this at home."

LIZ: "What do you mean?"

GIA: "I'm an only child, so It's mostly quiet at home."

EVE: "You're an only child? How can you live like that?!"

LIZ: "Excuse her." (chuckles)

BRYAN: "Do you ever get bored?"

GIA: "Yeah, sometimes. I wish I had someone to talk to -- ya know, besides my parents."

BRYAN: "You're lucky. I wish I could have the whole house to myself."

KELLY: "Do you have any family in ATL?"

GIA: "Well, my mom's side of the family is here. But my dad's from New York."

LIZ: "Cool. Have you ever been there?"

GIA: "Not yet, but I want to. What about you guys?" (grins)

EVE: "Nope." (shakes her head with a frown)

KELLY: "Hopefully B5 will be up there next year."

GIA: "Yeah, hopefully."

DUSTIN: "I GOT CAKE!!" (runs away)

EVE: "What an odd young man..."

LIZ: "I'm gonna get some cake, too. You know you want some, Eve." (gets up from her seat)

EVE: "Ah... you know me too well." (grins)

__ Gia's POV __

Everyone was getting up to get cake. The couch I was sitting on became more spacious all of a sudden.

BRYAN: "You want some cake?"

GIA: "Uh, no thanks. I'm not a big fan of sweets..."

BRYAN: "You should try some, it's good!" (gets cake and comes back to the couch)

KELLY: (obnoxiously eating cake) "Mm, MM, good! Haha!"

GIA: "You guys having fun?" (chuckling at their behavior)

KELLY: "Yes." (laughs)

BRYAN: "You're missing out, Gia. Look at all this chocolate!"

Bryan and Kelly were teasing me. Eating their cake in my face and stuff. It was funny, but I'm not giving in that fast. Liz and Eve were in the kitchen eating, so I had no girl back-up to save me from these silly brothers.

They continued munching loudly and obnoxiously licking their fingers while eating the cake.

BRYAN: "This is soooooo good."

KELLY: "Gia, taste this cake. You HAVE too!"

GIA: "You can't make me!" (giggles)

KELLY: "Oh, yeah?"

Kelly scooted closer to me, cake in hand. He had broken off a piece of his chocolate cake and was holding it between his two fingers. He said "Here try it, I'm making you" and he winked at me. All of a sudden my stomach felt nervous. I looked into Kelly's eyes... 

He had a smirk on his face, which made me smirk. Then, he bit his lip which ALMOST made me have a heart attack. He brought the small piece of cake closer to my mouth, and I opened my mouth and tasted the chocolate cake. Kelly licked the remaining chocolate off his fingers... wooo, that was kind of attractive.

KELLY: "Well?"

GIA: "Amazing." (huge grin)

EVE/LIZ: "Oooooohhhh!!!!"

GIA: "What?"

BRYAN: "Dang, Kelly. Tryna make a move on Gia or what?"

KELLY: "You're just jealous 'cause you can't get a girl."

BRYAN: "That's not true at all. Last time I checked, I was the one Gia wanted to hang with earlier, not you." (grins proudly)

EVE: "Oh snap."

KELLY: "Haha, yeah, you were her second option. She doesn't want you, Bryan." (laughing)

BRYAN: "Actually, she told me she loved me."

LIZ: "What?!"

GIA: "Bry--"

BRYAN: "Yeah... that day Patrick said he saw us out in the courtyard at school? Well, she was crying and I comforted her -- LIKE THE GOOD FRIEND THAT I AM. And she kissed me on the cheek."

KELLY: "...So?! I comforted her before. What are trying to say, Bryan?"

There was a small pause, and the air strangely became slightly more tense. Bryan set his plate on the coffee table before replying.

BRYAN: "I'm saying stop flirting and ACTING like you give a dang about Gia when you don't."

Kelly scoffs.

KELLY: (slightly louder) "I care about Gia. I ain't acting."

BRYAN: "No, you don't. You're too occupied with your ex-girlfriend and your own personal problems to give two sh--"

KELLY: "THAT'S A LIE, BRYAN! And Mikayla has nothing to do with this-- MAN. Why am I even arguing with you right now?" 

Bryan and Kelly were going back and forth, and everyone was staring at them like they were crazy. This is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I've never had two guys fight over me. This is really awkward... 

MS. ADRIAN: "BOYS! Stop yelling this instant. What are y'all even upset about? We have company over. Show some respect."

BRYAN: "Mom, Kelly started it--"

MS. ADRIAN: "I don't care!"

MS. TERRI: "Y'all should know better. You don't want me to pull out the belt, do you?"

KELLY/BRYAN: (solemnly) "No ma'am..."

RAVEN: "Um... maybe we should go now."

MS. ADRIAN: "I'm sorry you all..."

RAVEN: "It's alright. The food was great; it was fun meeting you all."

Raven gathers her things and we follow suit. Dang, it was getting kinda fun too.

REESE: "Yeah, thanks Ms. Adrian for being so welcoming to us."

MS. ADRIAN: "Of course, sweetie."

RAVEN: "It was nice meeting you all!"

MS. TERRI: "Bye, girls. Don't be strangers."

GIA: "Okay. Um, bye guys." (waves)

LIZ: "Bye, Gia. Nice meeting you." (grins)

EVE: "Nice meeting you, girl. Maybe we can all hang out again." (smiles)

GIA: "Y-yeah. Bye, guys."

Well...

What an emotional, incredible, horrible night. :(
