At Maheshwari villa,

Laksh entered the house and was about to move towards his room, his servant informed him that a letter had come. Laksh's face glows into 1000W bulb and asked him to give it immediately. After having the letter, Laksh immediately ran to his room and sat on the couch in the balcony and started to read it.

But his glow disappears and his eyes were filled with tears and frustration. He crushed the paper and threw it away but it falls on his bed. He looked like a raging bull and shouted "NO! THIS CAN'T HAPPEN! SHE IS LYING!"

He shouted in agony. His servant heard his cry but he was too scared to come and check on him. Here, Laksh was like he would go crazy at any moment. 'Why was she lying to me? Why should she lie to me? Why was she writing such a non-sense? In all her letters I could find only love and care for me. But in this only heartbreaking words and emotions are used, but why? Why was she breaking my heart like this? I need to find it out. I should meet her and I should definitely attend tomorrow's engagement ceremony only to know about u, Miss. Ragini Gaddodia. I am sure you are not. My heart is saying that you are made only for me. I am coming for you Ragini.' With that thought, he took that letter and kept on the nightstand and slept.

Next Morning, At Ragini's house,

Everyone was busy in arrangements whereas both Ragini and Swara were getting ready for the engagement with the broken heart. Just then Ragini noticed that Swara was looking so dull and a charming smile was missing in her face.

"What happened, Swara? Why are you looking so dull?"

Ragini noticed that Swara was lost in her own thoughts. She jerked her arm and pulled her back to reality. Swara looked at Ragini and realized that she might have noticed her sad face. So cover it up, she immediately pulls a fake smile on her lips and said

"Wow sis, you look fantabulous!"

Ragini noticed her fake smile and got worried for her. She cupped her cheeks and asked,

"What happened, my little bear? Tell me!"

Swara smiled widely and shook her head saying "What are you asking about sis? I am fine!"

Ragini was not convinced by her answer. But before she could say anything, her mother pulled Swara out of the room. Ragini was once again lost in the thoughts of Laksh.

"No! I don't love him!"

She whispered to herself. She felt suffocated so she went to her house terrace to get some fresh air, after informing her mother. But the sight in front of her shocked Ragini. Swara was dragging someone's hand and rushing to the terrace while if someone notices them. Ragini immediately hides at a corner and heard their talk.

"Sanskar, will you do anything for me?" Swara asked him making him frown in confusion.

"I will!" Sanskar said without any hesitation.

"I am going to tell you something, please don't interrupt!" Swara requested. Sanskar frowned but nodded.

"We are not getting engaged today! You are going to get engaged to my sister!" Swara said making Sanskar froze in shock. But before he could speak, Swara continued saying "My parents had misunderstood. But please don't reveal the truth to anyone. Please marry my sister!"

Her words were like a sword for his heart. He had always kept his heart surrounded by thick walls to protect it from being hurt. But one look at Swara, he let his guard down and opened his heart for her. Hearing her speak like this makes him feel his heart cry in pain.

"Are you stupid? If they misunderstood, then it's our duty to rectify them, Swara. It's not too late to rectify. Come let's go and speak to your parents!" Sanskar said strong and tried to hold Swara's wrist but she pushed it away and hugged him tightly.

"Please no! You said you will anything for me. Please! Please marry my sister. She is innocent and she doesn't know anything. I don't want to snatch away her dreams. Please, Sanskar!" Swara sobbed on his chest while Sanskar stood like a rock and Ragini gasped hearing them.

After a while, the engagement ceremony starts...

Sanskar was on the stage and Ragini was going on the steps to the stage. Just then Laksh entered the engagement hall and saw Sanskar was standing with 'Anarkali girl'. He frowned in confusion. 'What is she doing here?' He thought and he realized that she is not the one Sanskar had shown in the picture. His frown deepened and looked around to understand what's going on. He also wanted to see Ragini.

His eyes fell on the girl standing with an old couple. His eyes widen realizing that she is Sanskar's girl, Swara. 'Then what's Anarkali girl doing there?' He thought. He saw Sanskar's face emotionless while the Anarkali girl's eyes were continuously watching Swara. Laksh was still standing on the entrance in confusion and shock.

Just then the pandit Ji said 'Ragini, put that ring to Sanskar'. Hearing her name Laksh's heart was filled with a mixture of emotions. He was happy that his crush and his love were the same person and he was thrilled that she was not married yet but he was broken that 'his' Ragini was going to get engaged with his 'brother'. Laksh was heart-broken and he didn't know what to do. He just closed his thinking that this nightmare will end once he opens his eyes.

"NO! I can't do this."

He heard a sweet voice shouting making everyone freeze in shock while he opened his eyes and found that it was Ragini who shouted. Her eyes flare with determination and courage. His eyes got wider and teary in happiness.

"No maa. I can't do this to my sister." Ragini repeated making everyone was shell shocked except Laksh who was jumping in happiness in his mind.

"Maa, papa, I know I should not say like this, at this moment. But at the same time, I should not snatch my sister's loved one from her."

Ragini said and stepped down from the stage and went towards Swara. Sharmistha was the first one to come out of the shock.

"Ragini, what are you saying? What is going on here? I could not understand anything." Sharmistha exclaimed in fear that her daughter's happiness is once again going to crumble and also for the fear of society.

"I will explain everything maa!"

With that, she explained what she had heard in the terrace and their misunderstandings. Swara couldn't control her emotions anymore. She cried and hugged Ragini.

"I am sorry!" She whispered while crying making Ragini hug her close like she will protect her from everything.

"You didn't do anything, my little bear!" She whispered in her ear and looked at her parents.

"Maa, papa, please accept their love!" Ragini pleaded meanwhile Sanskar too got down from the stage and said

"Uncle, it's my fault too. I should have known that Swara had an elder sister. If so I have mentioned Swara's name, this confusion wouldn't have happened. But nothing wrong had happened now. We can still handle the situation and do the right thing! I want to marry your daughter, Swara. I love her. I had kept quiet till now because of the promise I had given her. But now, I know that, if I don't speak now, then I can't speak anywhere in my future. Please, uncle!"

Sanskar's confessing moved everyone especially their parents but they are hesitant because Ragini is their eldest daughter and she is not married yet. In the society they are living, if the younger daughter was married before elder one then the elder one was marked with an identity bad luck or infertile. The judging people will think even low too and that's what they are scared for.

"Now what is preventing u to go ahead on this engagement? Please accept this, maa, papa. Really Sanskar and Swara were good pair. They must be united. Please don't worry about me or about this society. Maa I have already said that when I meet my prince charm then I would marry him only. The same does Swara. She had met her prince charm so she wanted to marry him. There is nothing wrong in it. Please accept their love. Please papa, please maa."

Ragini's words encouraged their parents while she continued "I am strong papa! I can face everything. Anything for my family" She declared in front of everyone while Laksh was amazed by the courageous Ragini. He always thought she is innocent and too pure to this world but with the fire in her eyes and determination in the tone makes him feel that he should not judge a book by its cover.

"Ragini, I am not an enemy of love because I am your mother's lover before her husband. I also know about love and its pain when separated. I am silently standing because I am worried that I am breaking your heart again and again. But seeing your courage, confidence and love for your sister, made my heart to accept them. I am ready for their marriage. Go and ask permission from your mom." Shekhar said enveloping his daughters in a hug.

Just then,

"No Ragini, I don't have any objection for their marriage. I am just worried that when my one daughter's life was full of happiness then my other daughter's life was full of worries. I could not be happy that my daughter was happy and at the same could not be worried for my other daughter. What can I do?" Sharmistha said expressing a mother's agony.

"Maa, this is what your problem is." Ragini said coolly and took out a 'smiley' kerchief and showed it to her. "Maa, please understand that your daughters can be happy when one of their life was happy and would fight against worries together when one of their life was worried. After all, we are sisters!" Ragini said while Swara hugged her more tightly.

This time the sister's love had won over the evil society.

Finally, everyone was convinced Swara-Sanskar's engagement was held. Laksh was present in the hall the whole time but didn't show himself before Ragini. Though he wanted to rush towards her and take her into his arms, he waited patiently for the correct time and correct place.
