Avni squirmed in sleep and opened her eyes slowly. The bright sun rays came in the contact of her eyes. She smiled and yawned cutely stretching her hands a little when she realized her husband was sleeping hugging her too tight from the back. She tilted her face and saw him who had a peaceful look on his face. His breathing could be here in that silent atmosphere. Avni turned around facing him and planted a soft kiss on his cheek near the corner of his lips. He pulled her closer in sleep sensing the movement and exhaled deeply. Avni smiled and caresses his cheek with her fingertip.

Avni: thank you neil aaj tumhari wajah se mujhe itni pyaari family mili. Baba hamesha kehte the tujhe maa ka pyaar nahi mila to kya hua dekhna tujhe esi Saas milegi jo tujhe beti se bhi badhkar pyaar karegi aur kal wahi hua mummy ji ne mujhe accept kar liya.

She said with moist eyes and looked at him who was in a deep slumber. Avni chuckled thinking she was talking to a sleeping neil who had no idea about his surroundings.

Avni got up from the bed removing his hand from her waist. He frowned missing her warmth already and turned other side covering himself with a quilt. He was in no mood to wake up so avni let him sleep for sometime and went to washroom.

After sometime she came out and dried her hair with towel. Picking up her nuptial chain she tied it around her neck and filled her hairline with sindoor. She smiled looking herself in the mirror and touched her mangalsutra.

Avni: this is what makes me complete neil

She hurriedly went downstairs after looking at neil for one last time. Upon reaching there she saw bheema who was setting the plates on the dining table.

She walked near her and asked.

Avni: bheema di breakfast ready hai?

Bheema: shweta mam bana rahi hai

Avni: kya aapko mujhe utha dena chahiye tha

Bheema: mene bola but unhone kaha aaj vo sab ke liye breakfast banayengi

Avni went inside the kitchen and saw her immersed in her work. She went near her

Avni: mummy ji laiye me kar leti hu

Shweta looked at her hearing her voice and smiled.

Shweta: bilkul nahi aaj mene decide kiya hai sab ke liye nashta me banaungi aur tumhe bhi khana padega chahe kitna bhi bura bana ho. Waise toh me thik thak hi bana leti hu par

Avni: jis Khane mai maa ke haath ka pyaar aur mazaa hai vo kisi me nahi

She said with moist eyes. Shweta caresses her face

Shweta: bilkul aur aaj me khud tujhe apne haatho se khilaungi.

Avni smiled and helped her in her work.

Later after they were done they came out and placed the food containers on the table. Bebe and prakash settled on their seats and began to eat. Neil also came down and wished them a morning. He looked at avni who was serving to bebe then she looked up and their gaze locked for some moments. Neil winked and gave her a flying kiss making her go red in shyness. He chuckled and sat on his place.

Bebe: arey juhi abhi tak nahi aayi koi bula kar Lao usse

Prakash: haa shweta juhi beta kaha hai

Trio looked at each other then shweta spoke nervously

Shweta: vo me gayi thi usse bulane par vo so rahi thi toh mene disturb nahi kiya

Bebe: thik hai par yaad se usse breakfast de dena aaj kal pata nahi kya ho gaya hai usse dhyan hi nahi hai uska kisi chiz me oye madam madonna kahi tune toh usse kuch nahi kaha?

Shweta: na nahi bebe vo bas kisi chiz ko lekar pareshan thi par ab thik hai aap tension mat lijiye

Bebe: thik hai avni puttar aa beth nashta kar

Avni: ji bebe

Shweta pulled her beside him and made her sit next to her. Seeing that bebe gets shocked. She looked at prakash and he chuckled she again looked at shweta. Shweta took a morsel and fed avni lovingly. Avni's eyes got moist receiving the love for which she was craving. Neil was looking at her with all the love. Bebe was still shocked.

Bebe: hayo rabba sunny teri biwi kidnap ho gayi aur uski jagah koi aur aa gayi hai aur tu has raha hai? Jaldi police station chal pata nahi vo madam madonna ko kidnap karne ki sujhi kisko. Arey tum sab chup kyu bethe ho chalo jaldi neil tu toh police wala hai kuch toh kar teri maa kidnap ho gayi hai

Neil started laughing like a maniac watching her reaction. Prakash also burst out laughing. While shweta made faces.

Bebe: arey tum dono has kyun rahe ho?

Neil composed himself and took a deep breath.

Neil: o meri pyari bebe mom kidnap nahi hui hai ye aapki madam madonna hi hai par farq itna hai ke inhone ab avni ko accept kar liya hai

He said looking at them. While bebe gasped dramatically keeping her hand on her heart.

Bebe: sacchi mujhe toh yakin nahi ho raha. Isme itni akkal kaha se aa gayi

Shweta: bebe

She whined and they laughed. Neil secretly glanced at others and touched his foot with avni's under the table.  Avni stopped chewing and looked at him who had smirk on his lips. He stroked her foot with his toes and winked at her. Avni glared at him and mouthed him to stop doing that but he didn't listen and continued doing so. Avni at once pulled her feet away and concentrated on shweta who was feeding her lovingly. While neil huffed and continued having his food.

Shweta thought something and smirked.

Shweta: vese aapne dekha prakash ji bebe mujhe kitne acche se jaanti hai aur kitni fikar bhi hai meri

She said looking at bebe.

Bebe: bilkul nahi madonna mai mai to bas ese hi tera mazaak uda rahi thi

Shweta: ha ha aap kyu accept karengi

Bebe: 😏

Neil shook his head.

Neil: accha ab mai chalta hu

Bebe: kaha bhai

Neil: police station ek important case hai

Bebe: thik hai

He looked at avni and signalled her to come out. She looked here and there and shook her head slowly. He pleaded through his eyes while shweta was still feeding her. She again said no by shaking her head. He huffed and got up from his seat abruptly and went from there without saying anything. While avni looked at his retreating figure sadly.

Later on avni was keeping the food containers on the platform absent mindedly. She was thinking about Neil how he got upset when she didn't listen to him. She took her phone and tried calling him but he didn't answer. She huffed and got busy in her work.

Other side in police station neil entered inside his cabin and sat on his chair rubbing his forehead.

Neil: can't she understand I am used to her presence now in morning also I didn't get chance to spend time with her and she didn't listen to me when I said her to come outside.

He huffed in annoyance and took the file trying to concentrate on the work but failed miserably. He leaned back on his chair and closed his eyes avni's smiling face came infront of his eyes.

While avni was pacing to and fro in the kitchen trying to think about the ways to persuade her husband who got angry. Shweta came there and saw avni restless. She frowned and walked near her.

Shweta: avni beta kya hua itni pareshan kyun hai?

Avni looked at her and smiled nervously.

Avni: kuch nahi mummy ji bas ese hi

Shweta: apni maa ko bhi nahi bataogi?

Avni Sighed and told her everything first shweta was listening to her calmly but later she burst out laughing leavening a confused avni behind.

Shweta: hmm toh ye baat hai avni mera tillu yani ki tumhara pati tumhare saath kuch wakt bitane ke liye soch raha tha aur tum gayi nahi

Avni: par waha sab log the mai ese kese chali jaati

Shweta: accha thik hai chod ye sab ab ek kaam kar tu uss ke police station chali ja uska favourite khana lekar. Yahi toh pal hote hai ek dusre ke saath time spend karna.

Avni: but mummy ji ese kaise it's his work place

Shweta: kuch nahi hoga ulta vo toh khusi ke maare pagal ho jayega.

She laughed and avni smiled thinking about his reaction. She made her mind to go there and started preparing his favourite dish biryani. Once Neil had told her this that how much he loves her hand made biryani. Shweta also helped her and after sometime they were done with it.

Shweta called dd while avni insisted her not to but she didn't listen to her.

While dd was with Neil when his phone started ringing. He took out his phone and saw it was from his Mata ji. He quickly answered the call.

Dd: ji mata ji boliye

Neil looked at him hearing his mother's name

Shweta: oye dakhal dayal kya tu neil ke saath hai abhi?

Dd looked at neil who was already looking at him. He smiled at him nervously

Dd: ji mata ji

Shweta: oye to thoda dur jaake baat kar usse pata nahi chalna chahiye ham kya baat kar rahe hai gots it?

Dd: ji

Dd goes towards the corner and shweta told him to come home without telling Neil.

Dd: thik hai mata ji mai abhi aata hu

He disconnected the call and walked back to neil. While Neil looked at him raising his brows.

Neil: kya bol rahi thi mom?

Dd: ku kuch nahi bas kuch saaman laane ko bola hai mai abhi aaya sir ji.

Neil nodded and dd went from there. Neil was still in no mood to do work.

Neil: uff avni ye kya haal bana diya hai tumne mera kaam me bhi man nahi lag raha.

He Sighed and stared at her photo which was kept on his table.

Dd hurriedly went to Khanna mantion. Shweta handover the lunch bag to him and bid them bye.

Shweta: bye avni enjoye your date shate with your husband

Avni blushed and went with dd. After sometime they reached police station and entered inside. Everyone stood up looking at her while dd led her to his sirji's cabin but he was not there. Avni got sad and looked at dd.

Dd: abhi toh yahi the pata nahi kaha chale gaye ek minute bhabhi shinde shinde

He called him and he came there.

Shinde: yes sir

Dd: sir ji kaha hai?

Shinde: neil sir comisnor sir ke saath hai

Dd: o teri comisnor sahab aaye hai tumhe mujhe pehle batana chahiye tha na. Bhabhi mujhe jaana hoga aap yahi bethiye.

She nodded and smiled at him while dd and shinde went from there. She roamed her eyes looking at his neat and clean cabin. She walked towards his table and saw her photo frame.

His phone was also there may be he forgot to take it with him she thought. She waited for some more time then sat on his chair hesitantly. Supporting her chin by her elbows she looked at the door waiting for him desperately.

Other side after meeting got ended comisnor sir went from there. Neil glared at dd while he gulped.

Neil: kaha the tum dd comisnor sir puch rahe the tumhare baare me

Dd: sorry sirji vo kuch kaam tha aap ye sab chodiye aapke cabin me jaaiye na

Neil looked at him confused

Neil: kyun?

Dd: bas ese hi

Neil shook his head and went from there while dd grinned widely.

He pushed opened the door of his cabin and his eyes got stuck on a particular thing or I should say a person. He looked at her with his wide opened eyes and walked towards her.

Avni pressed her lips together and stood up crossing her hands.
