A LITTLE GIRL

When the door swung open,
In walked a little girl,
Who jumped on her toes,
Giving her dress a swirl.

The cute little girl,
Didn't look more than five,
The blush on her cheeks,
Made her look shy.

After the little girl,
Followed a bearded man,
"Wait up Naina," he called,
He looked like her dad.

Our Lady watched curiously,
As the girl got her burger,
And then looked towards her,
With eyes like a warrior.

The girl glanced at her,
Like she'd done something wrong,
The girl seemed ready to fight,
Just waiting for a bong.

Our Lady was sure,
She wasn't faulty,
But the determination of that girl,
Made her feel guilty.

She wondered what she'd done,
To get such a stare,
She was about to find out,
As the girl walked there.

In the sweetest voice she'd heard,
The girl called her, "Miss,
"This is my uncle's favorite seat,
Would you take another please?"

Our Lady laughed a little,
At the girl's cute demand,
She stood up from her seat,
Ready to follow the command.

That's when the man came,
Apologizing for the fuss,
"I'm really sorry miss,
It's just that the girl..."

He never finished his sentence,
He just stared at our lady,
At those bluish eyes,
He was lost in their melody.

Our Lady felt the same,
She too recognised the man,
She immediately knew,
That destiny had played its hand.

You can change your outer look,
Your appearance, your youth,
But you can never change your eyes,
As they always speak the truth.
