Epilogue!

A Year Later;

Jessica's POV -

"Jess." my boss shouted out of his office at me.

Well, I say boss, he was also my boyfriend and everyone at work hated that because they thought he favoured me over all the other people he employed; but that wasn't the case and we both knew it wasn't.

"Yes Shaun?" I smiled at him, walking into the office and closing the door behind me as I did so.

"You're going to be photographing The Wanted today. Do you think you'll be able to manage with that one?" Shaun asked sympathetically.

See, I had told him all about me working for The Wanted and the type of relationship me and Nathan had before I started my job here, and he was understanding. The first time the company was hired to do the photography for the boys, I refused to do it, told Shaun I wasn't able to do it because I wasn't ready to face them all again; so he didn't make me do it and he didn't get angry about me refusing to do it either - he understood, and he was there for me when I needed someone to confide in.

I know that, usually, your boss is the last person you would confide in but I didn't have anyone else other than Max, and I wasn't going to tell him how I was feeling. Shaun was my last option and that's how we grew closer to each other before he eventually asked me if I wanted to go on a date with him, deciding it would be rude to refuse, I accepted and it was one of the most amazing nights of my life.

"It's been more than a year now, and they've all moved on. I'm sure I'll be fine with it." I smiled reassuringly at him.

"I just ask because I don't want you to feel like I'm forcing you into something you don't want to do." Shaun replied, standing up from his chair and walking over to me, placing his hands on my waist and pulling me closer to him.

"Honestly, I'll be fine with it. It will be nice to see them all again since the only one I've actually spoken to, and seen, since everything happened is Max." I chuckled.

"As long as there is no funny business and they know you're all mine now." Shaun laughed as he placed a quick kiss on my lips, smiling at the same time.

"I'm sure that, with the mouths of the people who work here, everyone knows about me and you." I smirked before I walked out of the room, resuming what I was doing before I was called into Shaun's office to be told that I was going to be coming face-to-face with the entire of The Wanted for the first time in over a year now.

It's safe to say, I was most definitely nervous and was worried about what was going to happen.

*

"Erm, hi. I'm here to photograph The Wanted for their new calendar?" I said nervously to the women who was sitting at the desk.

"Yeah, they're not here yet. If you go straight down the corridor, to your left, take the first right and then it's the fourth door on your right. Got it?" she spoke rudely, not taking her eyes off her nails as she continued to even them out while chewing her gum at the same time; it was like someone had taken her straight out of a horror movie and placed her behind that desk for special effect.

"Thanks." I replied, just to be nice and show my appreciation to her for telling me where I was supposed to be going since, every single time I did a photo shoot, they changed the room that they asked me to photograph them in.

I walked into the room and began setting up the equipment that I was going to need for this shoot. I decided I was just going to keep it simple and I was going to take shots of the boys on their own, and then I was going to do some group photos and, to finish with, I was going to use some instruments and get them to pose with them for the final shots.

I was given the entire day to make the shots worth it and get the best that I could from them, so I wasn't going to rush the shoot, whether they liked it or not and whether they wanted me here or not.

An hour later, the door opened and the boys all walked in, deep in conversation with each other, only stopping talking to each other when they all looked up and saw it was me that was going to be taking their photos.

"Hello boys." I said with a slight smile on my face.

"Jess. I thought you were going to phone every single day, what happened to that then?" Jay laughed as he pretty much ran over to me and embraced me in one of the best hugs he had ever given me.

"I'm sorry Bird. It was just too much for me though. I did attempt to ring more than once, but I was always overcome with emotion and ended up hanging up before you had the chance to answer." I replied, which was the truth.

I did try to ring them, but I could never bring myself to hang until one of them answered and spoke to me; I just ended up in tears before that even happened and I didn't want it to be like that, so it was easier for me to ignore them and just let them get on with their life.

"We miss you, our new assistant is nothing like you were. We even miss you telling us how you had no idea what we were supposed to be doing, it was always Josh that told you where we were supposed to be. It's just not the same." Siva sighed, although I had heard their new assistant doing interviews with them and she seemed lovely enough; it was probably for the best that she was nothing like I was because she would have been awful and would only have stuck around for the sake of Nathan, and for the fact that she didn't want to leave the others behind either.

"She seems lovely to me, and as long as she gets the job done, then she's just as good as I was." I smiled.

"You should come back and visit us in England at some point. I know that Kevin would love to see you again, even the fans have been asking how you are because they can't find you on Twitter anymore." Siva replied.

"Yeah, I deleted my account and made a whole new one after I left. I just needed a fresh start, and that included online." I shrugged.

"Well, this has been lovely, can we just get on with the photo shoot now?" Tom said, pushing past the others and walking over to where the boys were supposed to be getting their outfits sorted before they headed over to have their hair and make-up sorted out for them.

"Nice to see you as well Tom." I stated sarcastically.

"Look, don't expect me to be nice to you. You left us and, had we not followed you back to the hotel, then you would have gone without even saying goodbye to us." Tom snapped, so it was great to see that he was still angry with me and didn't want anything to do with me; even after all this time he was still the same as he was on the night that I left them all.

"Have you found yourself someone then, or are you still looking for Mr.Right?" Max laughed, even though he knew that I had as I'd told him all about Shaun and he was happy for me; told me that I deserved some happiness and he was glad that I had finally found it from the right person.

I think he was just doing it to wind Nathan up because Max tells me that he still has a thing for me and can't find it in him to move on and forget about me, he just wants me and no one else.

"Oh. Has Jess got herself a man?" Siva laughed, and I just nodded at him with a grin on my face.

"What's his name then, and what does he do?" Jay asked, while Nathan and Jay were intrigued to see what I had to say for myself on the matter.

"He's called Shaun, and he's my boss. Great looking man, and he's amazing-"

"In the bedroom?" Jay interrupted, and he didn't even look like he was sorry, he just wanted to say that so he could find out even more than he needed to know.

"That's not what I was going to say, but he certainly knows how to make a woman feel good." I winked, causing both Jay and Max to burst out in fits of laughter, while Siva just walked off before the conversation got anymore weird than it already had done.

"I bet you've done it in the office, haven't you?" Jay asked in between his laughter. He was such a dirty-minded person when he wanted to be, and there was me thinking he was an innocent and mature adult.

Haha.

That's a joke within itself.

"Is that anything to do with you?" I laughed.

"Sooooooo, that's a yes then, isn't it?" Jay said.

"Yes. Yes we have done it in his office. Is that what you wanted to hear Jay?"

"I can think of more questions if you like?"

"No. Just get over there and sort yourselves out." I replied, pointing over to where Tom and Siva were already having their outfits sorted out for them. "And you George. Over there now." I added, to which both Jay and Max walked off to where they should have been, still with their sides splitting from the laughter.

Leaving just me and Nathan there, in a rather awkward position because it seemed like he didn't want to talk to me.

Either that, he just didn't like that fact I had moved on and didn't want to be with him anymore.

"How have you been then Nathan?" I asked him for the sake of making conversation with him, and to show that there were no hard feelings between either of us.

"Yeah, I've been pretty good thanks. And yourself?" Nathan smiled at me.

"Never better actually. See you found yourself a girlfriend then?"

"Erm, yeah, we met not long after you left actually and we really hit it off. We've been together for three months now and all the boys love her." Nathan grinned and it did seem like he was genuinely happy with his life.

"I'm glad you found someone, you deserve to be happy. I hope you're treating her right." I chuckled.

"I'm glad you're happy as well, and I hope he's treating you right." Nathan smiled before he walked off and joined the other boys with getting ready for the shoot, which should have started five minutes ago now, but they ended up getting side-tracked by catching up with me because it had been too long since I had last seen them.

Today was going to be one hell of a day and it was going to be fun getting through it when two of the boys were immature and wanted to know about mine and Shaun's sex life, one of them hated me and didn't want any form of communication with me, one of them was doing his best to keep a smile on his face even though I could see the pain in his eyes from seeing me and the other one was the only sensible one of the lot and actually wanted to get on with the job in hand.

Sure, you don't always get what you want in life and sometimes, things turn out for the worst in your life.

But there are other times when, to get the best out of your life, you have to go through the worst and suffer some of the most excruciating pain before you get what you rightfully deserve.

There was a time when I could see myself with Nathan and I could see us being in a happy relationship, but he blew that and he proved there was no way he was always going to show just how much he loved me.

Now, I'm just happy with the life that I have and I'm glad that I've got the people that I have because I've finally found the happiness that I've been searching for for so long now.

"Are you ready then Tom?" I asked as I steadied the camera and got ready to take the first picture, receiving nothing more than a nod and I took that as my cue to start ordering him around, telling him where I needed him to be.

I was actually doing something I loved, and I was loved in return.

I had never been happier.

Hello there everyone,

So, here's the Epilogue for Love Hangover and it's not been a happy ending for Jess and Nathan; but they each had their own happy endings.

I hope you have liked this story and I would love to know what you have thought of the entire plot/storyline because I seriously love reading your opinions; they mean so much to me and I appreciate that you read the story.

There may be a sequel to the story because I do have a plot in mind, but I am unsure if I am actually going to write it yet. It depends if any of you want me to write the sequel - so let me know on that one as well.

I love you all and thank you so much for the support you've given me on this story, it means so much to me.

Massive hugs and kisses to you all,

Love El:)xxx
