Akira's POV
"Crap! I'm late!" I yelled as I dashed down the stairs and grabbed my bento box, bag and cap. I passed the streets and headed straight to Sarayashiki Junior High.
"Hey Akira!"
A voice shouted behind me. I guess i wasn't the only one who's late. It was Urameshi. He walked towards me with a tall, red haired guy who's about 6 ft tall, high cheeks and wears a blue uniform.
I noticed that the tall guy ran towards me and immediately took my hands.
"Hey there! I'm Kazuma Kuwabara! You're such a hottie. Can y-"
I cut him off by hitting him hard with my fist, leaving a black eye (anime style) and a punch mark on his left cheek. My punch made him fall on the cold ground.
"That's for trying to make me your girlfriend buddy AND calling me hottie."
I really hate it when someone flirts to me. That super embarrasses me even if I'm a half demon. Yusuke laughed so hard while helping Kuwabara stand up, making me grin a bit, too. Kuwabara winces in pain as the three of us headed towards the classroom and to the back seats. The door flew open as Mr. Karasu went in.
"Good morning, Mr. Karasu."
"Good morning class. Before we start, I'd like you to meet a new student who will be joining you today. Hiei Jaganshi."
"Say what?!" The three of us said in unison.
Hiei entered the room. He was about 5"3, black spiky hair, ruby eyes and wears a black hoodie and blue pants. He's still the same when we were kids. A handsome short that actually made my heart beat faster and made me breathless.

Flashback
"Hiei, help!"
A black figure appeared in my vision and quickly slashed the demon pinning on me and disintegrated in mid air.
"Are you alright?"
"Yes, thank you."
"Hn. Try to train more so I don't have to save you every time you're caught."
I pouted and followed him into the forest and headed to my father's castle.

-time skip-
The wicked enchantress caught Hiei with her lightning whip and electrocuted him. A waterfall of tears started to stream down my cheeks as I watch my friend scream in agony.
"Please stop! He has nothing to do with this! Let him go Ruka! Please!!"
My pleading didn't work. She stopped torturing Hiei and walked towards me and this two demons who was holding me back. She grinned wickedly and kneeled down to my height.
"You're father was the most handsome dog demon I ever laid eyes on. But I was wrong to love him. He dumped me for your human mother and bestowed the whole kingdom to you instead of me becoming his mate for life! We could've ruled together. Now he's going to see his precious daughter die in my hands. You don't know how proud he could've been."
My anger overflowed and turned into my weapon. My head was still facing down but my powers was gathering in me. My dog ears and dog tail appeared and my hair turned electric silver. The two demons who were holding me back flew outwards.
My energy spiked and made Ruka jump back. I slowly lifted my head as my eyes glowed red. Thunder crackled from the red sky of demon world which seem to follow me as I walk towards my enemy.
"My father was a great demon. HE DOES NOT DESERVE YOU! NOW YOU WILL PAY FOR SLAYING MY FATHER AND TORTURING MY FRIEND!!"
My voice echoed as thunder crackled again beside me. Ruka smirked and got into fighting stance as her purple hair whipped in the presence of her demon energy. She tried throwing spirit balls to me, but I easily dodged all of it.
"My turn."
I raised my hands slowly as I gathered a fistful of my electricity and used it as my own blaster. She barely dodged most of them until I noticed that her skin is turning into black scale. Her hair turned into slick back spikes and her eyes glowed green as her nose turned cavernous. From an enchantress, Ruka transformed into a colossal black dragon. Green fire emitted out of her mouth. I ran with my super speed, towards the wall with my sword. I dashed up and flipped, exactly to her eyes. My sword slashed her left eye making the reptile snarl and growl. It winced in extreme pain. Her green orbs were covered in blood. Her massive paws transformed into hands, spikes turned into purple hair. Ruka was covering her injured eye and tried standing up. I stared at her with furious eyes turning from red to chocolate brown. I powered down and walked towards her.
"I'm giving you another chance to live, if I ever see your face again, I won't hesitate to rip off your head and hang it on a pole."
She stared with fright for about a minute and sped out of the palace. My gaze turned to Hiei and kneeled down beside him. I took his hand and wept for a moment.
"Hiei.....hear me out. P-please, I need you."
My tears fell from my face. My jaw quivered, hoping that he'd wake up. A hand wiped my rosy cheeks, making me gasp. The boy sat straight up with a confused look on me.
"Did you mean it?"
I nodded with a smile. He threw his arms around me and gave me a warm embrace. I really didn't expect him that he'd do this kind of stuff. I embraced him too and it looks like shorty likes me hugging him. Before we broke apart, he whispered to me.
"Let's go."

-End of flashback-
Mr. Karasu spoke up after daydreaming in my seat.
"Mr. Jaganshi you'll be sitting next to..... Ms. Raijin. Ms. Raijin, please raise your hand to be recognized."
I didn't hesitate. I shot my hand in mid air. Hiei peered up, his eyes widened. I guess he's surprised to see me. My heart raced as excitement and joy filled my body like I wanted to freaking scream! Oh my gosh, this is so good to be true.....
