(Readers POV)

I've been staying at Capsule Corp for about a week now. Me and Vegeta are walking outside.

(Y/N): So why are we taking a walk?

Vegeta: I'm looking for Bulma.

(Y/N): Ok, then why am I needed?

Vegeta: If you weren't here, you'd be running off to Goki just to be lazy.

(Y/N): Hey! That's not true! She's just more laid back than you!

Vegeta scoffed.

Vegeta: How did your timeline me deal with you?

I put my hands behind my head and leaned back

(Y/N): I don't know. I guess he was just used to me.

I looked ahead of me and saw Bulma walking with... Whis?!

Vegeta: What the?!

(Y/N): What is he doing here?!

Bulma and Whis noticed us from our shouting.

Bulma: Hey there Vegeta and (Y/N).

Whis: It's very nice to meet you again.

I quickly looked around, looking for Beerus.

(Y/N): Is Beerus here?!

Whis: Nope. It's just me here.

Vegeta: Why are you here?

Bulma: Oh Vegeta. Jealous about your wife hanging around with someone else?

Vegeta: Yeah sure babe.

He said like he wasn't even listening to what she was saying. Vegeta got up to Whis.

Whis: Bulma was showing me some wonderful treats here. I have to say, I'm not disappointed at earth's food selection.

(Y/N): As long as a cat isn't here to destroy earth, then you can have as much food as possible.

Whis smiled at me.

Whis: I can tell you two have been training. How is it going?

Vegeta: I am going to surpass Kakarotta.

Whis put a serious look on his face.

Whis: That won't be happening.

Vegeta: What?! Why not?!

Whis: At the level Goki is at now, you won't reach that level of power by yourself with just normal training.

Vegeta: You can't be serious.

(Y/N): Then train us!

Everyone looked at me.

(Y/N): If we can't get stronger by ourselves, then will you please help us get stronger?

I bowed down at Whis.

Whis: I'm not sure...

Vegeta: Wait! You're here for food, right? If I make something delicious, you have to train me and that clown.

He pointed at me. Calling me a clown was just not necessary. It hurt my feelings.

Bulma: Be honest Vegeta. You haven't cooked a day in your life!

If Vegeta is trying to make Whis leave, then we'll do a fantastic job. He actually can't be serious.

(Y/N): Vegeta. That won't work.

Whis: Now I'm curious. Why not? Vegeta, make your best meal.

Vegeta smiled and ran off. He quickly came back with a table, portable stove, a pan, and some eggs. He put an apron on.

Whis: An egg meal? I see you're keeping it basic.

It's not that hard to make eggs. It's impossible to mess them up. Vegeta picked up and egg. He started to shake, I guess the pressure is getting to him. He broke the egg, letting the inside of the egg fall to the ground.

Bulma: I can't look.

Whis: Oh. I hope that's not part of the recipe.

Vegeta picked up another egg, but that egg broke. Vegeta kept trying, but he broke every egg he tried. He can't even put the egg in the pan!

(Y/N): Let me do it!

I ran over and picked up the last egg. I cracked it on the pan and the inside of it went onto the pan.

(Y/N): Do you want your egg scrambled or over easy?

Whis: I'll let you decide. I love surprises.

I quickly finished cooking the egg and put it on a plate. I put some salt and pepper on it. I handed Whis the plate, with a fork.

(Y/N): I hope you like it!

Whis: Thank you.

Whis took some of the egg and put it in his mouth. Me and Vegeta watched in anticipation, hoping he will like it.

Whis: I... Like it! It's not the best thing I've tasted, but it will do.

Me and Vegeta celebrated.

Vegeta: I did it!

(Y/N): What do you mean?!

Whis: Looks like you will be my new disciples.

Whis turned to look at Bulma.

Whis: I'm sorry to cut this short, but I'm sure these two wouldn't stop bothering me until they left with me.

Bulma: Vegeta! You can't just leave-

(Y/N): Bye Bulma!

I grabbed onto Whis's shoulder and Vegeta grabbed his other shoulder. A light surrounded us and we went up into space. I looked to my left and saw that we are flying past numerous stars at really high speeds.

(Y/N): Wow. We're going so fast.

Whis: You might want to get comfortable, the trip will take a bit.

(Time Skip)

I think we've been flying for about half an hour. I let out a yawn.

Whis: Don't fall asleep. We just arrived.

I felt my feet land on something. The light around us disappeared. This place is huge! The grass is blue and there is a huge lake. I saw a huge tree at the middle of this place, with buildings around it.

(Y/N): This is where you live?

Whis: It is. Beerus also lives here, but he's a heavy sleeper, so he shouldn't wake up any time soon.

That's a good thing.

(Y/N): Hey Whis. You trained Beerus, right?

Whis: Of course I did. I taught him everything he knows.

Vegeta: Would it be possible to surpass Beerus with your training?

Whis: We'll, I am your best bet if that's what your goal is.

I took a deep breath. If I got that strong, then no matter who shows up in my timeline, I can protect earth.

Whis: My training won't be easy. I hope you won't regret your decision.

(A Few Months Later)

I woke up and looked around the room. I saw Vegeta waking up too. I got out of my bed, that Whis gave me, and stretched.

(Y/N): Good morning Vegeta.

Vegeta: Morning.

(Y/N): You ready for another day of training?

Vegeta just nodded his head and put his training clothes on. I quickly put my training clothes on. Me and Vegeta left our room and went outside. I flew around the place, but I don't see Whis anywhere.

Vegeta: Do you see him anywhere?

(Y/N): Nope. He must've went to earth for more food.

I landed on the ground. I looked at Vegeta and shrugged.

(Y/N): I guess we just wait for him to come back.

I sat down and waited. This might take awhile. After waiting for what felt like forever, I saw a beam of light in the distance. I stood up and Vegeta noticed it too.

Vegeta: He's here.

(Y/N): Finally.

The beam of light landed in front of us. It disappeared and Whis is standing there.

Whis: Sorry to leave without saying anything. Bulma said she made some delicious delights and I couldn't say no. And I've brought-

Goki: Yo!

Goki ran around Whis and got up to me and Vegeta.

Goki: You two are huge jerks! Not telling me you were leaving to get some serious training! I wanted to train with you!

She pointed her finger at me. She really is pretty scary when she's upset.

(Y/N): S-Sorry for not telling you.

Goki: I was worried that I couldn't find you or Vegeta anywhere.

Vegeta: I could care less if you were worried for me. You're just jealous that I'm now stronger than you.

Goki: You really got that much stronger?! Now I'm really excited to start training with Whis.

Whis: Alright. Let's start, shall we?

Whis raised his staff up and the orb on his staff glowed green. Three cubes appeared in front of me, Goki, and Vegeta. I sighed.

Whis: You three have to do one lap around this planet while caring this.

Me and Vegeta already did this last week. I tried to pick it up and it's way heavier than I remember. I looked over and saw Vegeta and Goki struggling too.

Vegeta: What's with this weight?

Whis: I thought you and (Y/N) we're too comfortable with the previous weight, so I doubled it.

I took a step forward, but it feels like I already ran ten miles.

(Y/N): You two might want to try harder. I'm already ahead of you.

Vegeta: Don't get too confident.

Goki: Yeah! We were just giving you a head start.

Goki and Vegeta took a step forward. I tried to take another step, but they already were ahead of me.

Goki: Come on (Y/N). You can do better than that.

I'm not going to fall behind! This is really hard, but I'm not going to give up that easily! I'll beat Goki and Vegeta!
