(Goki's POV)

Jiren: You should be grateful that he took that blast for you two. No matter how many weaklings gather, against absolute strength, it's pointless.

Vegeta: That confidence pisses me off!

Vegeta started to scream as a small bit of ki surrounded his body. His ki turned yellow as he was about to turn into Super Saiyan, but he stayed in his base form.

Jiren: Are you not going to transform?

Crap! Vegeta doesn't even have enough energy to turn into a Super Saiyan!

Vegeta: Hmmp! I don't need a transformation to defeat you!

Vegeta dashed forward at Jiren and tried to punch him. Jiren blocked Vegeta's punch and punched him in the face, bruising his eye. Vegeta stumbled back, but managed to stay on his feet. Vegeta brought his hands out and started to charge up his Final Flash.

Jiren: It's futile. Throw yourself off the stage.

Vegeta: Shut up! Final Flash!

He launched his attack at Jiren, but he swatted the blast away. Jiren dashed at Vegeta and started to punch him over and over again. Vegeta grunted out in pain. He managed to grab onto Jiren's arm and tried to throw Jiren over his shoulder.

Vegeta: I'll show you how much of a fight I can still put up!

Vegeta failed to budge Jiren. Jiren got his arm free and punched Vegeta in the gut. Vegeta gasped out some blood as he stumbled backward.

Jiren: Stop this pointless fighting. Just fall off the arena.

Vegeta: I... Won't fail my universe! I'm fighting for more than myself!

Vegeta dashed at Jiren again. Jiren scoffed and punched Vegeta really hard in his face. Vegeta got knocked back and flew out of the arena.

Goki: Vegeta!

Crap! He doesn't have energy to make it back. I watched as he slowly fall down. I can see tears coming out of his eyes and he pointed his hand towards me and a small ball of energy flew towards me. It came into contact with me and I get a huge surge of energy go through my body.

Vegeta: I did it for Bulma, Trunks, Bulla. My promise to Cabba... Kakarotta... I trust you with my promise to them and to finish Jiren off.

I stood up and stared at Jiren. I clenched my hand into a fist.

Goki: You got it Vegeta! I won't let you down!

I powered up into Super Saiyan Blue. I quickly looked over and saw Vegeta appear in the bleachers and was given a senzu bean, healing his wounds. I put my attention back at Jiren.

Grand Priest: Vegeta of Universe 7 has been eliminated.

I got ready to fight Jiren once more. Jiren stared at me.

Jiren: I still can't understand it. Why put all their faith in you?

Goki: You sound very confident in yourself.

I dashed forward at Jiren and tried to punch him, but he ducked under my punch. He tried to punch and kick me back, but I managed to block his strikes. I blocked a kick from him, but the force still knocked me back. I quickly jumped forward at Jiren, but quickly jumped to the side and started to shoot several ki balls at him. Jiren put his arms up to block the balls, making smoke cover him. He dashed out of the smoke and tried to punch me.

Goki: I got you!

I quickly used Instant Transmission to get behind Jiren and tried to punch him in the back of his head. Jiren quickly elbowed me in the gut, making me gasp out in pain. He punched me in the face, sending me back and making me crash into some rock. I slowly got up and powered down from Super Saiyan Blue. I looked ahead and saw Jiren standing there, looking at me.

Jiren: It appears you've reached your limits.

Goki: Agh... I can't quit yet. Vegeta and everyone are trusting me. I can't lose now!

I jumped at Jiren, even if I am in my base form. I tried to punch him, but he dodged my punch. I tried to punch Jiren again, but he dodged that one too. I threw my fist forward again and he blocked it with his arm. I send a small blast of ki at Jiren. He blocked it with his arm and deflected it, making the blast hit a floating rock, which destroyed it. Jiren punched at me, but I managed to block it with my arm. The force pushed me back, but I managed to stay on my feet and stop myself.

Goki: Ah! This isn't over-

Jiren punched at me again. I tried to block it, but it was already too late as I got hit by the strike. Jiren started to punch me over and over again as I tried my best to defend myself, but I couldn't. He was constantly punching my face as I was stepping back, trying to get away from him, but he would just step forward. I noticed that I'm getting close to the edge, about the get knocked off. Jiren punched my gut, knocking me backward. He punched my face again.

Goki: Guh!

It feels like I'm about to pass out. I can barely move my body anymore. Jiren stopped his assault and looked at me.

Jiren: Is that all the fight you have left? Disappointing. It's over.

He brought his hand up as red energy covered it. He started to throw his fist forward as I didn't have the energy to move away from it.

Vegeta: Kakarotta!

I heard Vegeta shout at me. I started to remember that I'm fighting for everyone. I'm fighting for not just my survival, but theirs as well.

(Y/N): Hey... This is the least I can do for you.

I started to remember everyone as I can feel them cheering me on.

Roshi: Goki!

Tien: You got this!

Piccolo: Fight!

18: Win!

Frieza: Dance for us, monkey!

Gohan: Go mom!

Krillin: Come on, buddy!

Vegeta: It's up to you, Kakarotta. Don't you fail too.

Goki: Hmm!

Right as Jiren was about to hit me, I felt my body dash past Jiren, getting behind him and avoiding his punch.

Jiren: What?!

I turned around to face Jiren. A blue aura covered my body as I opened my eyes to look at Jiren. He dashed at me and tried to punch me, but I dodged his fist. He grunted and started to punch at me more, but I dodged every single punch he threw at me. I brought my hand back and punched him right in the stomach.

Jiren: Gwaahh!

He gasped out as he took a step back and held his stomach. I looked at Jiren as I started to power up silently, the blue aura around me now beginning to flow like flame. Jiren managed to recover and stared at me. I jumped forward at Jiren at high speed. He got ready and reeled his fist back. We both punched at each other, making our fists clash and making a large explosion of energy. Me and Jiren started to attack each other in the middle of the explosion, blocking and avoiding each other's strikes.

Goki: AAAAAHH!!

I punched forward, but Jiren dodged it. My punch blew away a bunch of the broken arena. I looked over at Jiren and tried to kick him, but he dodged as well. Sparkles appeared on nearby floating rocks before blowing up. Me and Jiren started to throw a flurry of attacks at each other as sparks of our clashes would go around the arena and blowing up small sections. I managed to knock Jiren down, making him land on the ground. I cupped my hands together and brought them back.

Goki: Ka... Me...

I landed on a small bit of rock, charging up my Kamehameha. Jiren glared at me, but I jumped away from the rock I was on to a different one before his attack could hit me.

Goki: Ha... Me...

Jiren glared at me again, but I jumped away again before his attack could land. I landed on another falling rock and I jumped forward off of it and got right in front of Jiren. I threw my hands forward at him.

Goki: Ha!

I launched my attack, making a bunch of my energy fly across the arena in a bright blue light. I looked closely and noticed something off. I saw Jiren holding a ball of red ki in his hand. He used it to block my attack! He launched it at me and I couldn't get out of the way in time and I was launched upward. The ki ball blew up in a large explosion. It went away as I tried to do the same thing Jiren did to block my attack. The energy around me that I used to block Jiren's attack faded away as I felt my body start to fail me again as I started to fall down.

(Readers POV)

I opened my eyes when I heard a loud explosion. I looked up and saw a large red explosion and knew that attack was from Jiren. I looked and saw Goki falling down towards the ground. She's in her Ultra Instinct state.

(Y/N): Goki is still fighting? She's absolutely amazing. Hehe... But how can she be losing still? Just how strong is Jiren actually?

I looked over at the bleachers and saw everyone else watching the battle.

Belmod: Hmph. There's no need to worry. She knows how to block, but a strong defense will only get her so far. Without an offense to match, she has no chance at victory.

The God of Destruction from Universe 11 said. Man I just realized how much of clown he looks like.

Marcarita: I agree, my lord. And if Jiren continues to attack, that defense will eventually crumble. Our victory is only a matter of time.

The Angel next to him said.

Belmod: Hm... And with her incomplete Ultra Instinct, all she's doing is delaying the inevitable.

Vegeta: Tch. And all you're doing is running your mouth.

The God of Destruction stood up to look at Vegeta.

Vegeta: Do you even listen to yourself? Just now. You called it incomplete, which implies she hasn't fully mastered it yet. And if you're stupid enough to ignore the obvious implications of that, then I don't know where you get off calling yourself a god.

Belmod: Oh come on. Are you suggesting that she can master Ultra Instinct in the time she has left? Please... Hahaha. You're a fool. That's impossi-

Vegeta stood up and interrupted him.

Vegeta: And you'd bet your life on that? 48 minutes. That's all we were giving for this tournament, but in that brief timespan we saiyan warriors have shattered our limits time after time.

Vegeta looked back at the clown.

Vegeta: You've seen it with your own eyes, Destroyer.

I looked back at Goki falling. Vegeta is right. To doubt a saiyan even for a second is bad news. For a brief moment I saw her aura start to flare up again before calming back down.

Belmod: Jiren! What are you waiting for?! End this! Knock Goki out of this tournament now!

Jiren grunted and his hand started to collect energy, making it turn red as he jumped up towards Goki.

Vegeta: Come on Kakarotta! Find a way! I've entrusted everything to you! My pride, my promise, everything! I won't tolerate failure! Trespass into the domain of the gods and use that might to conquer Jiren! Do it Kakarotta!

Right as Jiren was about to hit Goki, she flipped around to face Jiren and started to scream as a large blue aura surrounded her, pushing Jiren back. Even I can feel the force from here. Goki looked down at Jiren.

(Y/N): Seems like the real fight has just now begun.
