A lying elf and a cold Knight
Elysia Apocalypse was someone with a staggering amount of charisma that charmed everyone. All, except.
"So, how's your mission?" Elysia asked with a beautiful smile. It has been a few months since they first met and she had managed to endear herself to him. After all, he was no longer kicking her out of his office.
"I told you not to eat here," Reinhardt said with a scowl as he hung his blazer on a coat rack, revealing the muscle shirt underneath.
"Not for me, for you," She said with a smile as she lay on the couch. "Oh my, if you want, you can take me and ravage- oof," The young maiden fair was silenced by a pillow, thrown playfully, by the knight. Pulling it away, the young woman gave him a pout that was adorable enough but the young man was built differently.
"Come on, we can just eat this," Hearing those words made the young woman smile brightly. It was the first time the young knight offered to eat with her. Sure, they ate together before but she usually had to ignore his complaints, but now.
"Well, as an apology," Elysia said with a smile as she took her seat beside him. The young elf smiled at the young knight that interested her. She had read stories about the members of his house and how some books detailed that the best way to get close to a Crozzo is to be forward with your intentions. "I want you to spoil me,"
"No, do that yourself," the young man said as he ate a portion of his part, missing the pout of the young maiden.
"There you are, master!" A young child with pink hair cried out as the doors to his office were kicked open by a girl.
"An apprentice?" Elysia asked. "That's unexpected..."
"The brat won't stop following me and it got annoying," Reinhardt said as he looked at the girl, Yae Rin. "What did I say about manners?"
"Well, nope! I wanna learn how to fight."
"No, finish your lessons first," Reinhardt said as he looked at her.
"Hmph! Fine!" Rin said as she stomped away.

Elysia smile as she opened her eyes. She looked around and saw the familiar designs of Reinhardt's room. Tiredly, the young woman pushed herself up and smiled at her friend. Ignoring her phone, the young woman easily slipped off the tangled covers of their bed before heading to the window.
The sight of her (unofficial) younger siblings, Rex, Rin, and Reve, training on the grounds brought a smile to her face. Especially with how Rin tried to mimic Reve with a blade and Rex with a bow. Speaking of Rex, Elysia's smile grew fonder at the boy she trained. Her brow did rise up as he saw Rita, one of her fellow idols and a part-time maid for Schicksal, act like she once did when she did not know Rein as much as she currently did.
Taking a glance over her shoulder, the fair maiden of House Apocalypse smiled as he entered the kitchen Reinhardt connected to his room. Taking some ingredients, the young woman hummed a song as she cooked his favorite down to the last specifications he had with her own twist.
Elysia remembered that day and a smile bloomed on her face.
/// Flashback ///
Elysia hummed as she sat beside Reinhardt after a mission the two took together. It has been a year since they first met and much to her joy, Rein had been a lot open with her. He even let her stay in his house, especially with her helping him by babysitting his younger siblings.
Inside the private jet the two were loaned, Elysia smiled as she handed the young man a simple meal of French toast, a tuna Omelette, and a cup of coffee.
"Come on, Rein, here." She said, kindly handing her tired friend the meal she cooked.
"Mom used to make me this when I was younger," Reinhardt's sudden statement made Elysia freeze. Her friend rarely talked about his late parents and she never pushed him to tell her so. "She used to make it after she saw how I liked to eat Tuna when we visited the beach once,"
Elysia, not knowing what she should do, merely sat by his side and was stunned as she saw him weakly take a piece with his fork and put it in his mouth. "sweet," The young man said and Elysia froze. She mixed up the salt and sugar... "Damn, it..." Reinhardt whispered as tears fell from his eyes as he started to eat them.
Elysia, unaware of what to do, followed her heart and hugged him. The cold knight, while saying nothing, was thankful for Elysia.
"It's okay to cry, Rein... you're not alone anymore," she said to him confidently as she hugged him.
/// flashback end///
It was that day that she note that Reinhardt started to openly warm up to her. Sure, she could call them friends before that day but after that, Reinhardt was far more open, smiling more even adding some jokes and puns between them.
To her shame, she did not want others to know that side of him. And even after a few years since then, she still did not want others to know.
Finishing the meal, Elysia smiled as she took the ketchup bottle and started to delicately draw something on the Omelette and French toast. Once she was done, the fair maiden of House Apocalypse took her personal mug and his from the cabinet and poured the mixture inside,
"Morning," Reinhardt greeted as he sat on the estate's overlooking just outside of the kitchen.
"Oh, morning Rein." Elysia greeted him with a smile as she looked at him. Expertly, the fair maiden carried the tray and set it down on the table before taking her spot beside him. Noticing how he looked at the Omelettes, Elysia giggled as she took a slice and fed him. "So~ What's the verdict?" Elysia asked with a smile on her face.
"Hmm... you got better," Reinhardt said with a mile as he looked at her. "But, here," Reinhardt said, pointing to the Omelette. Curious about what he meant, Elysia looked at the Omelette, only to find nothing and when she turned to look at him, she felt a soft pair of lips on her own.
The teasing and smug maiden turned red. No fair! It was supposed to be her that initiated things like this!
Wait! She often had to do mental Gymnastics to convince him to kiss her but...
"Well, I thought that since we are already doing things like this," Reinhardt said and her eyes widened. She could feel her heart trying to burst out of her chest. "Why not make it official?"
Unable to comprehend what happened, Elysia's brain went into overdrive.
"Mouh~," Elysia said with a pout as she glared at him playfully. "I am supposed to be the one in charge here!" She said, frustrated that this dumb, stupid, handsome, friend of hers stole her thunder.
"Payback... for all the times you teased me," Elysia's glare softened as she hugged him.
=============
Rex lowered his bow as he carried Rin over his shoulders.
"Are you seeing this, big bro?" Rin asked as the two, along with Rita and Reve, watched as Elysia bloomed and glowed far brighter than usual and how happy she looked.
"I am..." Rex said as he looked at Elysia, unbothered by the weight on his shoulders.
"So, lady Elysia finally confessed," Rita whispered with a smile as her eyes focused on Reve.
"Nope, Rein confessed to me," Elysia said with a smile. Rex dropped his bow on the ground as he looked at Elysia. Reve spilled his cup of coffee as he watched Elysia, Rin's jaw dropped while Rita lost her composure. "It was so sudden too..." Elysia pouted.
"Yes!" Rex and Rin, the youngest Crozzos suddenly cheered. "The Crozzo family bloodline is saved!" The two cheered at the same time.
"Well... congrats," Reve whispered, unable to comprehend that his beloved brother confessed to Elysia. "There is a God..."
"Next, it's your turn to have a girlfriend," Rex said to Reve while Rin grinned at him. No one can ever deny that Rin was free from the stupidity that periodically affects the members of House Crozzo.
"Miss Natasha is single and read to-"
"Ehem," Rita lightly coughed into her hand as she glared at the idiots coldly, daring them to continue. "Master Reve, don't you have classes?"
