Still By Your Side
The Black Foxes shot from their seats, glanced at each other with a nod and dashed out the door, following the screams until it completely stopped. The bidders behind them, the Foxes found themselves in an alley but were shocked to find Kira's best friend Ranko tied up in the dark alley, mouth covered and letter in hand as she squirmed to untangle herself from the binding ropes.
Riki and Kenshi rushed to untie her best friend, hoping to get some answers once they did. "Ranko? You need to calm down." Riki urges, patting her shoulder. "Don't hurt me!" she screams, beginning to panic and clutching letter to her chest, as if the world were to end once anyone else got their hands on it.
"We're Kira's friends and she needs your help so you need to help us. You might have seen her."
Ranko looked hesitant but after the bidders showed up and with their earnest gazes on her, she locked and nodded, following them back to LRN.

"So what did you see, Togoshi?" Riki asks once they settle down in the LRN. Soryu, for once, was visibly shaken and anxious for answers.
"A-Alright..." she stutters and begins to explain the series of events that had happened to her in the past 20 minutes.
"I was walking down the sidewalk and turned a corner but someone grabbed me and knocked me out. I woke up when someone screamed but I was tied up and a tie was covering me mouth. About 5 guys in black had Kira were tying Kira up but she wasn't struggling, she was just staring at me."
The boys were listening intently, Soryu, Takuto and Ota mumbling to themselves. "And when they took her away, one of the men left me with this letter." The letter from earlier, all forgotten, was brought up once more as she pulled it out of her pocket.
"Let me see it." Soryu said hastily, and waited for no reply as he grabbed the letter from the brunette's hand. In neat writing was a threatening letter.
'Ice Dragons,
I've heard about your little princess, Oh. Let's play a little game, you have two options. The two winners or we play the long way. If you need more time to think, each day, the more time you get, the more blood falls on the floor. You know who's it is.
Or you can meet with me tomorrow, and you can get your daughter unharmed, unless she does something stupid today then she might come home with a few cuts and bruises. You let us take over the Dragons, and everything will be fine.
- Venom Wolves'
Soryu was shaken once he finished reading the letter out loud and the Foxes wasted no time letting Ranko home as she was on the verge of crying, and soon, Takuto was working his best to track down the mafia princess of the Dragons.
"Anything yet, Takuto?" Riki was pacing around the room, seemingly stressed as he ran his hand through his hair with Hiro clinging to Kenny, who was muttering to himself as he tried to comfort the ginger beside him.
"Nothing, she has her phone on her, but it's either broken, off or the place has no phone signal." he replied but he never stopped typing. The Foxes were quickly losing hope, if Takuto couldn't find her, what are the odds that anyone else can?
"Wait... There's a faint signal but it's losing quickly. Let's go now!" Takuto exclaims and the Foxes perk up. They piled into the van but since the bidders were in it as well, it was quite crowded. "Shit...! We lost it again, Kenshi, head for the old town nearby." And as instructed, Kenshi followed the blonde's orders and took a sharp turn and soon stopped in front of a rusty metal gate, the entrance to the supposed town.
Once they get out, the smell of vegetation and rain water invaded their noses. It's almost as if there was nothing going on.
"The last I saw, it was an office building nearby." Takuto reports and all eyes turn to a streets lined with tall buildings that looked ready to fall at any moment. "They should be in here," the blonde adds and all step forward to go in but Soryu stops them.
"Go hide nearby, Mamoru, Yanase and Inagaki will come with me inside." he orders and the Foxes, knowing that their friend was in danger enough, followed the mobster's orders and hid themselves nearby.
"We're here," Soryu enters the building after a moment, his voice cold and empty. Suspiciously, the building was empty and luckily, only had 4 floors. Deciding to try their luck, they all went together onto the 3rd floor where guards were lined up and this was enough to tell them that Soryu's sister was nearby. They managed to sneak around for a bit when a dull thud came from a nearby room and some screams.
Kira sat on a chair, bound by strong ropes as she nastily looked up to a man who was smirking in triumph, a knife in hand. "Princess is finally awake, hm?" he chuckles, only receiving dirty glares from the raven haired girl. "What do you want?"
"I want to take over the Dragons, and what better way to take their princess, right?" he replies smugly, grazing his finger softly over the knife's blade. "You disgust me,"
"You have no right to talk to me like that," his smug attitude disappears as he growled, grabbing Kira's hair. "Geez," she attempts to distract the man from the pained groans outside the room, which she assumed came from the guards knocked out by her friends. "Someone's on their period."
"Bitch!" he screams, grabbing a fistful of Kira's hair, dragging her down to the floor on her side. "Yo have no authority to speak to me like that, princess." he hisses sadistically.
"Stop... calling me that." Kira wasn't sure, but she might have damaged something on her fall. "Poor girl, daddy won't come for-" the door bursts open and the man was quick to lock his arm around Kira's neck, blocking her breathing, choking her.
A blade to her throat and his arm blocking her breathing, the man shakily threatens to kill Kira, who could only scoff and roll her eyes, despite the very serious situation she was in. After a few quiet moments with the foxes and the bidders staring against the man, Kira slowly began to struggle, losing air.
Soryu saw this and began to internally panic. "Let go of her," but he demands this coolly, deciding that panicking won't help for the situation at hand. "So have you discussed the matter with your father?"
Soryu stayed cold silent, but that facade only lasted until Kira whimpered out his name, beginning to lose consciousness. "S-Soryu... H-h-help..."
Riki and Kenshi stood by the side watching with Mamoru nearby, staring intently at the man. Of course, being the leader of a ring of master thieves, Riki had a plan ready and has already discussed it with the group.
"You're not getting your prince-" then a gunshot went off, hitting the man in his upper thigh. Soryu had shot him and the man falls to the ground, finally releasing Kira from his hold. "Kira, are you okay?" Kenshi was quick to rush to Kira's side as Riki begins to scold Soryu for ruining his 'master plan'.
"*cough* Yeah, I'm fine." she chokes out, coughing slightly. "Let's go now," Soryu orders, ignoring Riki's chiding and picks up his sister in his arms gently, carrying her out.
Anxious bidders and foxes waited by the entrance and once they exit, they begin fretting over Kira, who waved them off and let her older brother place and strap in her seat.

Back up at the penthouse, Kira had managed to urge the foxes back home and the bidders to relax and head to their suite, seeing as it was already late at night. Kira was in her suite, changed in her pajamas when a knock came from her door.
"Come in," she opens her door, revealing her older brother with his hair down, it's slicked back state no longer there. "Oh, Soryu! Come in." she smiles at her brother, tugging him into her suite.
"Are you okay, Kira?"
"Yeah, thanks for saving me... How's Ranko?" she seemed nervous to ask but Soryu smiles gently at his sister. "She's fine, Kira. We found her struggling in the alleyway when they took you away..."
"Alright... Hey Sor...?" she looks up to her brother pleadingly. "What is it?"
"Can you stay here tonight? Be my cuddle buddy!" Kira's rare sweet side comes out, stretching her arms out to Soryu. "Fine, but only to because I promised you this is how I apologize."
Kira grins proudly, laying beside Soryu who was under the sheets already. Kira smiles at her brother and closes her eyes, snuggling up to him as Soryu snakes an arm around his sister's waist.
Kira was exhausted and soon, she was off to LaLaLand. The last thing she heard was:
"Goodnight, Kira."
