It's Been a While

                                                                                               CHAPTER 1

Soryu sits in the penthouse lounge alone in the corner while his friends chat loudly. He flips through the pages of Love's Mystery and stumbles upon a note written on a page.

'Thanks for the support, Soryu! Hope you read my other books, maybe you can bring them next time!

~Kira'

His mind instantly flashes back to the day 2 months ago when he had met his biggest idol, a romance and partly mystery author, Kira Satomi. When Soryu stood before her, he couldn't help but stare at her cute, angelic face and beautiful smile.

"Hey, Sor, are you reading that book again?" Baba walks up to the mafia mobster with a teasing grin. "It must be real good if you  read it." he teases when Ota appears behind him, holding a book by guess who? Kira Satomi.

"You were right Soryu! Her books are awesome, I just got inspired for another painting!" the blonde-haired artist laughs, waving the book at Soryu. "It's quite a shame I didn't get an autograph, though." he joins Baba's teasing. The pair continued to tease the ignorant mobster but the room became silent when they heard their 'Boss', Eisuke end a phone call with a satisfied smirk.

"I just got a huge celebrity to visit Tres Spades." he answers to their confused stares once he hangs up. "And for once, I think Soryu might care, remember Kira Satomi?" he chuckles mischievously at his former school mate and friend.

Soryu's eyes widen, but he remains silent, holding up the book as if to ask if he was serious. "Yeah, she'll be staying in the penthouse with us here." he adds with a confident smirk. "I have never hated you less." Soryu thanks Eisuke in his way, his lips curling into a small smirk as well.

Unlike the usual Soryu, the Hong Kong mobster sat on the couch, fiddling with his fingers as he waited for Eisuke to bring up the his author idol to the penthouse. Amidst his nervous waiting, he had almost jumped out of his skin when Kira appeared in front of him.

"Nice to see you again, Soryu!" she laughs when he jumps. Soryu shakes his head and tries to regain composure as Kira smiles angelically at him. "Kira, nice to see you again as well."

From the side, Baba and Ota begin to snicker from Soryu's nervousness but moments later fall silent with a gun pointed to them. "Shut up," Soryu kept his gaze trained on Kira as he spoke to the two men. "I hope you kept my signed book," Kira smirks at the flustered mobster.

"So what are you doing here, Kira?" Ota asks and Kira turns to the artist or so called 'Angelic Artist'.

"Research for my book and due to some... incidents I have to stay here for a few months." "Incidents?" Baba's interest sparked and he grins devilishly as he leans in, expecting an answer.

"Now that, my dear Baba, is a secret. Nothing that should concern you." she replies with the same smile plastered on her face. "But I'll tell you that I'm on the lookout for someone..." she adds quietly.

"Anyway," her carefree smile appears once more and she changes the subject smoothly. "Eisuke has already introduced you when I arrived so I'm fine with the names but I have to leave because of a few reasons." she again gives a vague explanation before dashing out of the room.

It has been 4 hours since Kira arrived at Tres Spades, and the boys were still confused as to where she was at the moment. The atmosphere was thick, but then Baba and Ota urge Eisuke, Soryu and Mamoru to go to a nearby high-end club.

Seeing as there was nothing else to do, they agreed and left together. Upon arriving there, they found themselves surrounded by women but one in particular caught their eye. Kira, who was wearing a white one-sleeve dress that was way too short for her own good.

The boys glanced at each other before shoving themselves out of the group, following Kira, and only to spot her hand in hand with an... excuse for a man. Kira was giggling lightly but her eyes were empty and dull as they exited the club.

Curious and concerned for her safety, although not showing it, the 5 boys follow her and only to see her leading the man into an alleyway with a seductive gaze. Soryu finds himself moving mindlessly and rushing into the deserted alleyway but then hides in the shadows when the man collapses and Kira walks into the moonlight.

Her once clean and neat white dress was stained red and the smell of blood was present. Not only that, but Soryu became more suspicious of his author idol when she presents two phones, one of the man's presumably and hers. She dials a number and begins speaking to the person on the other end.

"Hello? KS35 cleanup team at Tokyo alleyway side street." she orders and puts her phone away. Beginning to walk, she stops, as if sensing something. Soryu goes rigid but relaxes when she runs off, carrying her heels in her hands.

Back in the penthouse lounge, the boys were all chatting loudly, trying to come up with an answer of Kira's strange behavior. Soryu however, was quiet, thinking about Kira's earlier actions. About the blood on her dress, the phone call and everything.

The chatter dies down when the penthouse door opens, to reveal Kira in skinny jeans and a normal shirt as if she had never attended the club in the first place. "Kira!" Ota calls out at the sight of her. "We were looking for you, where were you?"

Instead of answering nicely and beaming like the usual, Kira's face was blank and she shrugs off the question coolly and coldly. "None of your business, Kisaki." she snaps but when Baba tries to talk, her phone rings.

She whips her phone out, irritated and clicks her tongue when the phone displays the caller's name. "Tch, what do you want, Riki?" she growls through gritted teeth and excited chatter could be heard through the phone. In front of the boys, she speaks freely but makes sure not to reveal more than necessary.

"Information, you say?" her mouth twists into a cruel grin. "You know where to go, I'll see you tomorrow." her face turns sullen once more before becoming stone cold again.

"Who was that, pretty lady?" Baba asks with a curious, yet sweet smile.

"I fail to see how any of this is your business, Baba." she emphasizes the thief's name with a harsh glare before leaving the room, leaving them stunned.

Kira Satomi was named by the media 'Dark Angel' after her name Kira which meant 'dark' and her kind attitude towards people which got her the 'angel'. To them, now, she doesn't seem like an angel.

Who is she?

Meanwhile, in her suite Kira sits on the balcony floor, leaning against the railing bars. In her hand was the phone from the man earlier and a photo frame.

She scrolls through the phone's information, occasionally glancing at the photo.

It was a couple, it was a picture of her and her fiance.
