At Least It's By Your Hand
A/N: This is about to get quite depressing... Might want to listen to the song while you read!
Kira speeds down the streets of Tokyo, heading towards the Hotel which began to loom over her as she got closer. Upon arriving, she parks her motorcycle up front and walks in with her helmet under her arm and her bag slung over her shoulder.
Sticking in the elevator key card, it's golden doors close and it speeds up to the penthouse quickly. She enters the penthouse to find the boys inside, all but Ota.
"It's done." she says simply, tossing a bloodied folder filled with documents on the coffee table, along with the picture of the now deceased victim. "And the statue is in here." she pulls out another smaller bag out of her pack and tosses it to Baba, who catches it easily.
"Good job, Kira. You're good to go, or would you like to stay for a drink?" Kira raises her brow at the request of Eisuke and nods, grabbing a glass of wine on the table and downing it in one.
The boys and Kira were having a grand time until Ota arrived, his arms wrapped around the same blonde model he had cheated on her with. Kira raises her brow but says nothing and the tension thickens to the point where you could cut it with a sharp knife.
The author sighs and picks up her bag, slinging it on her shoulders once more and shoving her hands in her pockets. "I'm going home, I'll see you at the HQ, Soryu." she bids the bidder a goodnight, but as she passes by Ota, she stops for a moment and scoffs. "And you still love me?"
And she leaves. But on the floor beside the table, was her motorcycle helmet.

Kira quickly made it downstairs to the lobby with no interruptions and rushed for her motorcycle. Shoving the keys into the bike, she twists them and starts the engine. Her back pack fully on and her leather jacket zipped all the way, she sped off into the night, her hair blowing in the wind.
Too lost in her thoughts, she never noticed she wasn't wearing a helmet as the scene of Ota with the other woman clouded her mind, distracting her. She hadn't noticed the tears blurring her eyes as she stared emptily into the road, speeding away carelessly.
That was when she blinked away the tears that headlights headed right for her. She was still too preoccupied with her thoughts and didn't notice the vehicle until it was only meters away. When she does, she makes a desperate attempt to swerve out of it's way, but collides with it head on instead.
Her tight grip loosens on the handles of the bike and she goes sailing through the air, landing on the ground with a sickening thud, crushing her cellphone in her pocket in the process. She begins to slowly bleed out, her bright red blood staining the cold pavement of the road. Passerby's start to gather, chattering loudly, some screaming for help, but no one rushes to stop the bleeding whatsoever. They just stare blankly at the bleeding body.
Kira's vision was blurry but she could make out the crowd gathering, and her hands begins to shake at the sight of her own blood. Sirens begin blaring in the distance, signaling the arrival of the paramedics.
Darkness began eating at the edges of her already very hazy vision. Everything was numb, and all she could feel was the emptiness of her beloved. All she could think about was the painful truth that Ota wouldn't come for her. That no one would come. That she was alone.
But was it finally time for her to go?
At the thought, a ghost of a smile forms on her lips before she lost all consciousness.

The next day, Kira's condition was unstable, with only a 20% chance of survival at the surgery, which was still going on. But none of the bidders knew anything about the accident, until Soryu brought up the absence of his sister at the HQ.
"Has anyone seen Kira? She was supposed to be at the Ice Dragons HQ 2 hours ago." he enters the lounge with this question to the four other men, who shake their heads."Haven't seen her since last night." Eisuke replies, "Not me either." Baba adds in. "Haven't seen the kid." Mamoru shrugs, looking back out to the city through the window.
Ota shakes his head, and all were quiet until Mamoru's cell rings. "Tch, it's the chief." he answers the phone lazily, "Morning, chief. What did you need?" the bidders listen to the conversation carefully. "An accident? Truck and motorcycle..." his eyes begin widening at the facts of the accident.
"I'll see to it." he replies and hangs up with a grave expression. "I think I might've found her."
The bidders rush with Mamoru to the location of the address, all secretly praying for no sign of Kira at the scene. But sadly, luck wasn't on their side.
At the scene, the bidders shove their way through the crowd up front. The bloody mess of an accident shocked them quiet. The pavement was stained with a big puddle of dried blood but what scared them the most was...
"It's Kira's motorbike..." Baba utters silently. The bidders nod solemnly and turn to Mamoru. "I need you to get me the address of the hospital." Eisuke orders. For once, the detective doesn't complain and soon comes back with a slip of paper, which he hands to the mobster.
"Go find her, I'll stay here." They didn't object and rushed to the written address.
At the hospital, the bidders rush to the emergency room, but were stopped by nurses. "Sorry, sirs, but an operation is going and no one is allowed in but the surgeons.." one had said, while the others sat the 4 men down. "I need to see Kira Satomi! She's in there!"
"May I have your relationship with her?"
"I'm her fuckin' brother! I need to see her!" the nurse's gaze turns solemn and she drags Soryu away into a separate room. "I need to tell you something, then." she turns sad ad depressed as she looked at the door adjoining the surgery room and their meeting room.
"Mr...?" "Mr. Oh, just call me Mr. Oh."
"Mr. Oh, I'm afraid there's only a 20% chance of survival. Her skull was damaged badly in the crash and she lost a lot of blood. The surgery has been going on for about 8 hours now, and none of the surgeons see any opening of survival so far... They can only do so much, and they can't hand the shift over to others because one second of vulnerability could prove to be her death..."
The nurse's words were like a blow to Soryu's stomach and his heart squeezes painfully at the thought of his only sibling dying, and he never got to see her once more. But the next words quite shocked him, "But a passerby heard Ms. Satomi say a few words before she gave out."
"W-What?" the words his sister had spoken last was the biggest blow he had ever received.
"Kill me... At least it's by your hand."
