( Jerome POV )

 It was human after human after human. They wouldn't stop coming. " Jerome! Go check on Mitch! " Adam yelled. I nodded and ran back to the house. I burst there the door shutting it  tight. I panted from all the battling. " Mitch?! "

 He came running up stairs.  " Yeah? Is everything ok?! " I nodded, but something was off. His eyes were caramel brown and he didn't have his fangs. " Mitch.. Why are you back to normal? " He tensed up. " Well I needed it, so I left the house... "

 I walked up to him and hugged him. " Come on Mitch! They could have hurt you or killed you! " He started blushing. " I-I'm sorry.. " He had fear and n his eyes.

" Oh.. Sorry Mitch.. " I was in my 2 form. I quickly went into 1 form. He calmed down a bit. I gave him a tight hug. I saw him blush. I mentally laugh. He is cute when he blushes. I pulled away. I heard a scream. " Can you change to vampire mode? "

He shook his head. I smirked and bit my arm letting fresh blood spill. He covered his mouth and nose. " JEROME! " Soon enough he turned. He glared at me. " I can't believe you did that.. But let's go kick some ass..." I chuckled. " Let's go! "

~ TimeSkip ~

After the fight Mitch was covered in blood. So was everyone else. " You good? " I panted. " Y-Yeah.. I'm good.. " Mitch practically whispered. He look really tired. He can't stop being cute can he. I sighed. " Jerome please bring your fellow human friend to my place.. " Cheif said then walked away. We walked to Adam who had a bleeding shoulder. I helped him back up and so did Mitch.

" Hey Mitch why aren't you turning " He smiled. " Well I did drink a lot of blood. And I probably won't have a blood lust for a long while!" He said excited. I simply nodded. Once we made it to Adam's house we settled him down gently on the couch.

 He winced. " Sorry buddy.. Mitch down the hall the last door look for the med kit... " He nodded and left.

( Mitch POV )

I walked down the hall and stop to a door. It had carvings of letters on it. I shrugged off the idea. I walked in. My eyes widen. I quickly shut the door and looked at the letters again. ' DO NOT ENTER ' carved on it with ' M J T  - R.I.P I Q '. I opened the door again. 

 Jason, Mitch, Quentin, and Ian was wrote on the walls. And Ty's names were written with hearts around them. " What the hell.... " I muttered. This was Adam's room. His amulet on the side table. It looked dusty and the glowing in the jewel wasn't glowing. His glasses were broken on the floor. 

 I saw a door open. I walked in to see more writing on the wall. It was the bathroom. I felt warm tears slid down my face. " Oh Adam... " He misses us, so much. I saw a med kit and grabbed it. Before I left I grabbed his amulet and glasses and put them in mt pocket. 

 I closed the door and walked back over to Jerome and Adam. " Took you long enough.. Adam passed out by the way.. " He took the med kit and started tending to his wound. 

 ~ Flashback 8 Years Ago ~ They should be 10 or so

  Adam, Jason, Ian, and me were sitting on the bench. " Hey Adam why do you wear that amulet? " Jason asked. Adam smiled. " Well my grandmother told me it could heal anything from the pain of cuts, bruises, heart breaks, and a lot more. It's very special that I wear it everyday! " He chirped. " Oh cool! " Ian said. 

 I reached out to touch it, but it shocked finger. I yelped. " Sorry Mitch! Forgot to say, but I only let's the Sky Family touch it.. " " Well thanks for the warning! " They all laughed. Soon I joined in. 

 ~ Flashback over ~

 I wonder why it didn't shock me like before. Probably cause it's glow isn't working. I heard a groan come from Adam. " W-What happened... " He muttered. " Your shoulder got badly cut, so I tended to it's need. " Adam smiled, but quickly went to a panic. 

 " You didn't go in my room did you?! " Jerome shook his head. " No, bu- " " I ran to the basement were I saw a med kit. " I quickly cut Jerome off. " Oh.. Ok.. " I smiled. ' I can't believe he has been through that much pain.. Maybe the amulet didn't work for a reason.. '

 " Hey... Jerome can you give me and Adam a minute... " He looked at me confused then nodded. But there was a hint of hurt in his eyes. Wonder why. He walked away into the kitchen. I bear hugged Adam. " Mitch?! " " How much pain were you in.. "

  He chuckled. " Dude.. My shoul- " " No! When we were all separated! How much pain were you in?! " He didn't answer. " Adam.. Please.. " " A LOT OK! I COULDN'T STAND IT! " I heard the door burst open. " What's going on?! " Jerome asked.

 I let go of Adam. " Nothing that should concern you Jerome.. " I whispered. He nodded and shut the door. " Mitch I was s-scared for you guys... I didn't know if you guys died or were being hurt.. I-I didn't know.. " I heard a chuckle and instantly knew who it was.

 " Bodil.. What do you want? " I looked at the window were he watched. " Oh Mitch.. Adam... You shouldn't be in so much pain for missing your friends.. Besides... They are alive.. " He smirked. Mine and Adam's eyes widen. " No way in hell! " 

 " Jason and Ty are alive.. Sadly not Quentin nor Ian.. " Adam looked shocked. " T-Take me to them! " Bodil shook his head. " You'll see them very soon dear Adam.. " And just like that he vanished. Adam punched the wall right by my head. 

 Once again Jerome entered in. " ADAM! " I could feel my heart race. Jerome walked over to me. " I-I'm so s-sorry... " Jerome sighed. " Come on Mitch.. Chief wants to see you.. " I nodded. I could tell Adam needs sometime alone. Hopefully he won't go out to look for them.

 Once we reached the Chief's house Jerome knocked. " Hello Jerome. Please come in. You too boy. " I did as I was told and walked in. I felt very scared, so I stayed close to Jerome. " There's nothing to worry about Mitch.. " He whispered.

 We sat down on chairs. " What's you name? " He asked. " M-Mitch.. " He nodded. " Now.. Why haven't you tried to kill us? " I gulped. " I-I don't like the war between are species.. It doesn't seem right to me.. " Chief smiled. " Well you are loyal to us. Saving a poor lost little bacca means a lot to us... Thank you Mitch. "

 " See I told you Mitch. " Jerome chuckled. " But won't anyone else help Jack? " Chief sighed. " Not any of the species I know of would help him.. The sorcerers are not an enemy nor a friend. But the vampires are a big problem for th baccas. "

 I simply nodded. " Well it's getting late boys better head off home.. " We said are goodbyes and I went back to my house for a goodnight sleep.

 ( Jason POV ) Oh Snapple!

 " Brice come on! " I yelled. " Wait! " He yelled back. Bashur laughed and so did Sub in a way. He doesn't have a face so it looks really weird. I grunted. " How long does a person need to pee... " Ty giggled.

 Soon enough Brice walked out of the forest. " Sorry... " We continue walking towards Crafter York. Sub and Bashur talked. But Sub used sign language. " So you really think that Mitch and Adam might be here? Because I really think there still in Emerald City.. " 

 " No they had to escape.. I know Adam did and probably he has Mitch too.. " Ty said. I sighed. " I really hope so... "  ' But part of me says they are still at Emerald City.. Maybe I can convince them to go back to Emerald City.. '
