The eyes

Marni woke up with a shock, her head aching and her eyes blind in the darkness of the night. How long had she slept? Surely for too long.

She almost dozed off into slumber again, as the smooth body of her cat traced lines in her skin. She was unaware of the strangeness of having someone else in her bed, but the cat was just rubbing its body against her back for attention.

It hasn't clicked yet, she slipped back under the covers as the cat took a grip on the bend of her hip.

She tried to shove Loki off, but her hands couldn't seem to touch the fur of the black cat, but cold hands of something else.

Marni's eyes shot open, and she spun from her spot on the bed, where her elbows held her up, and if need be, gave her enough leeway to run for the door.

Eyes.

The crevices, and inside the crevices, Small sizes moons, as dark as night. The eyes sparkled and gleamed in the dark, unmoving from its in-depth glare on the girl in front of him.

Marni couldn't look away from the eyes, because she knew this was no Jungkook, not the pure hearted boy that could admire and love her day after day.

This was Jeongguk.

And he had a sinister smile on his lips.

His hand, moved from the dip of Marni's hip, and towards her trembling lips. His eyes narrowed at he fear in her eyes, and his hands tightened around her chin, as a tear slipped from her cheek.

His smile slipped away, and his face froze in a murderous glare.

"I don't care what I have to do, I don't care who I have to hurt, I don't care whose blood I have to spill, I won't ever let anyone have you." He whispered.

His hand, caressed her cheek.

"You're crying," He stated, his face bare of colour, his expression equally covered in concern as to the excitement and fright in Marni's gut.

"Why?" His voice was dainty, and Marni observed as he blinked more in a second then usual, his head dipped down as though he was in pain, then he looked up again.

"Why did you escape?" She whispered, her lips tingling with and her stomach clenching as the males fingers stroked her red lips. "Why did you hurt Doyoung? You promised me, you promised not to hurt anyone."

Jeongguk's fingers hovered over her skin, once again, Marni's stomach seemed to love the attention, but she was sweating, freaking out over the fact that Jeongguk may have blood on his hands, figuratively and literally.

"What is mine, is mine. I'm willing to kill for you, to throw away my sanity, to give up my life, to give up my freedom, if I have to." His voice, became deadly, insane. "Stop crying, Noona,"

"You knew from the moment we met, that I would be different," he leaned forwards, his body moving above Marni's. "You can't deny the feeling, even I can't deny how you make me feel." His hands slid to Marni's left breast, which behind it, held her heart.

She could see the insanity in his eyes, and the way his hair fell over his face in unbrushed strands, and she froze when  seeing the gleam of blood on his hands.

She could feel the damp blood through her shirt, her heart skipped a few beats, and she watched his smile turn vicious and insane. His breathing, falling uneven.

"Jeongguk, we need to think about this. You could be taken away, I might never se-" Her words were cut short when his hands held a firmer grasp at her body, she bled with fumes of hormones, of excitement, mainly.

"I would kill again, just to be with you Noona, don't you get it? I don't care if you die, I will die too. We go down together."

Marni's breath caught in her throat. Jeongguk leaned forwards, his lips brushing against her cheek, his eyes wide and vicious, his hair, like veils to his face.

"Doyoung had a closer chance at getting you, I had to do something didn't I?"

"No, no you didn't," Marni tried to hold in her confidence, tried not to cry and shake in fear, not only of the feeling of the blood, but the regret to feeling something for him.

"Yes, yes I did." His lips, swollen and soft, forcefully sucked against Marni's, as though it was his only chance of survival. In his mind, it was. Marni could hold on her desires, she would regret this but in some cases, you had to realise that love could break boundaries, maybe, this one could aswell.

She tried to push him off, but why was she trying, denying, when beneath it all she knew she loved the feeling of his lips sucking on hers, and his hands, on her.

She gasped at the realisation, and pushed with enough force that Jeongguk would let go. Luckily enough, he did.

He gave a teasing smirk, his eyes roaming at the swollen lips, to the quick rise and fall of her chest.

But in the blink of an eye, Jeongguk flinched, his bloodied and burgundy covered hands moving to grasp at his head, his mouth gasping in groans.

"Jeongguk?" Marni jumped, but only hit the body of Jeongguk. He was switching, surely Jungkook was coming out, surely Jungkook was fighting for his body back.

Slowly, Marni watched Jeongguk, transform into Jungkook.

A hiccup left the cowering lips, Jungkook's hands moved to wipe the tears off his face as whines and cries left his lips.

"Jungkook?" Slowly, Marni moves to grasp Jungkook in his arms, she held him there, caressed his face as Jungkook lay on top of her, drifting to a slumber filled with nightmares.

"I'm sorry, who did I hurt? Did I hurt you? I'm so sorry," he continued to say these words in jumbled, his sentences surprisingly understood.

"Please don't leave me, don't let them come for me, I don't want to be there anymore. I want to be with you, I want to be with Marni."

Marni hushed him into silence, her hands continuing to calm his raging mind of fears and horror scenarios.

"I'm not going to let them get you, I will do anything, okay? You're safe here, your home."

"I'm home?" He sobbed. "I'm really home?"

"Yes baby,"

"Thank you, for being my home."

He sobbed.
