The four boys lay on the sandy shores, their faces upturned in a huge frown as they sat meters away from each other. There was silence.

"So, what are we going to do?" Namjoon said breaking the uncomfortable silence.

Hoseok sighed. "I don't know, I guess we should split up and look for Jimin and Taehyung"

Yoongi stood up "Yeah, we should split up. It's weird being in each other's company"

Hoseok stood up too. "It sure is" he grumbled. They had all gotten up except Jin.

Hoseok stared at his friend. "Hey, Jin get up, let's go," he said.

"oh, alright" Jin muttered rather weakly. He got up slowly and then fell back down. Hoseok widened his eyes in shock and ran to the man who was already lying on the sands. He looked pale all of a sudden.

"Jin Hyung, are you alright?" he asked.

Jin didn't answer. His eyes were closed, his lips slightly parting. Hoseok touched his forehead and flinched.

"Oh my God Jin, you have a fever"

Namjoon and Yoongi came toward them. The taller one knelt beside Jin.

"Hey, what's wrong with him?" he whispered.

Hoseok gulped. "I think he is very sick"
He further groaned. "What are we going to do? We are trapped on this godforsaken island with no food or water. How are we going to treat him?"

Namjoon sighed shaking his head.
"Calm down okay, we just have to find shelter and figure out the rest"

He started to pick Jin up in his arms but Hoseok held his arm tightly.

"um... what are you doing?"

Namjoon smirked. "I'm carrying him can't you see?" He smiled ruggedly "Or do you wanna... "

"It's okay" Hoseok blushed in embarrassment looking at himself.

Yoongi chuckled and Hoseok frowned in his direction.

"Um,  is there something funny?"

"No... nothing" Yoongi whispered, still with laughter in his eyes. Hoseok wanted to say something back at him but he felt ashamed so he just kept quiet. He was too skinny for a guy and he hated it.

Namjoon carried Jin on his back and the older wrapped his arms around his neck. Hoseok saw the action and winced irritably.

"Let's head towards that direction," Yoongi said pointing to a clear pathway opposite them. "Hopefully, we might find water. We shouldn't stay dehydrated for long especially Jin"

Hoseok just stared at him."Can we go now? This guy is a bit heavy" Namjoon said with difficulty.

The others nodded and they all left together. The sun was hot and they were dehydrated. It was getting dark and there was still no sight of water.

"We are going to die!" Hoseok murmured.

"No we aren't," Yoongi said in a sharp voice but there was no escaping the fear in his eyes.

Namjoon knelt slowly, laying Jin on the ground.

"I'm so tired. I don't think I can walk farther" he grumbled now stretching his legs in front of him.

"I could take him" Yoongi offered.

"Don't worry Hyung. I think we should rest here for now" Namjoon said scanning the environment around them. There was a thatch roof held up by bamboo sticks tied with palm fronds.

Hoseok went to Jin. "Hyung, how are you feeling?" he said.

Jin opened his eyes and it was scarily red. He looked terrible and his lips were shaking "Water....water, I need water" he said weakly

Hoseok smiled running his hands all over Jin's hair. "Don't worry, we'll get you water"

He bit his lips to hold back his tears. This place was hollow, inhabitable. Taehyung and Jimin could be dead for all they knew and It was only a matter of time before they too starve and die. He stood up taking a deep breath. He couldn't give up without a fight.

"Namjoon, could you look after Jin? It will be faster if Yoongi and I search for water by ourselves"

Yoongi stared at him. "You and me?" he stuttered.

Hoseok nodded.

"No offense Hoseok but shouldn't I and Yoongi go together?" Namjoon looked him all over. "You look a bit..."

"Weak? Sassy?" Hoseok frowned then laughed bitterly "I'll show you both I'm more than that"

Yoongi nodded rolling his eyes. "Yeah yeah princess, let's get going"

"Don't call me that you moron...."

"How dare you...."

Namjoon sighed. "Can you two just put your differences aside and work together? It's almost nightfall and we are going to die if you two don't get your asses out of here!" he shouted.

Jin lightly chuckled.

Hoseok pouted. "Maybe you should go with me"

Namjoon glared at him so harshly, that he gulped and turned away from him. He eyed Yoongi.

"Let's go," He said and started walking past him.

"Don't get lost!" Jin shouted weakly.

Namjoon held his arms softly. "Hey, you need to relax"

Jin stared back at him and there was a strange moment between them. Yoongi coughed to signify he was still around. The two stopped looking at each other blushing crazily.

"I'll be going now," he said.

They just nodded absently looking at the ground as Yoongi left following a grumpy Hoseok.

They didn't say anything to each other throughout the walk until they finally stopped after what seemed like eternity and dusk was setting in.

"This sucks! I guess we should just give up" Hoseok grumbled wiping sweat off his brows.

"Give up?" Yoongi shouted suddenly running his hands over his hair. He had a desperate look in his eyes as he looked around him throwing up his arms in despair.

Hoseok suddenly put his hands on his hips and there was a strange silence in the atmosphere.

"Since we are going to die anyway, I need you to answer me this one question" he glared at him.

Yoongi suddenly reddened balancing his weight from one foot to another. He looked away from Hoseok but the younger one stood in front of him so there was no way he could avoid this situation.

"Why did you stand me up that night?"

Yoongi gulped.  "I don't know what you are talking about?"

Hoseok scoffed. "Are you going to stand there and play dumb?" He yelled.

Yoongi groaned. "It was five years ago..."

Hoseok smiled bitterly. "And you think I should just forget about it because it was five years ago?"

He noticed that Yoongi was looking at something behind him because his expression suddenly changed but he continued anyway.

"You are an asshole Yoongi, do you know that?"

"Hoseok... Shut up?"

"What?"

"I said shut up"

Hoseok scoffed. "How dare you? Why should I...."

He froze as he heard a loud hiss sound behind him. He slowly turned around and saw a viper with patterned skin hissing at him.

"Come close to me...."Yoongi whispered.

Hoseok shivered. He was beyond terrified. "I'm scared..."

Yoongi sighed rolling his eyes. "Goddammit Hobi, do you wanna die?"

Hoseok was surprised he called him by his nickname but he couldn't dwell on that, he slowly walked towards Yoongi trying to block out the hissing noise from the snake. When he reached him, Yoongi grabbed a stick lying on the ground, then suddenly grabbed Hoseok by the waist and put him behind him while throwing the stick at the stubborn snake rearing its ugly head at them.

The snake suddenly gained an opportunity to bite Yoongi's hand before sliding off quickly. Yoongi yelled loudly and fell heavily to the ground as he clutched his left hand biting his lips tightly.

"Oh no... " Hoseok cried. Why was everything against them today?  This was a nightmare. There was no time. He had to act quickly before the poison spread. He quickly tore out a piece of his shirt and wrapped it tightly above the area the snake had bitten Yoongi.

He looked at Yoongi's face. He was slowly dying and Hoseok knew he had to suck out the poison or he was a goner. He took a deep breath and began to suck the poison out slowly, little by little until he was sure everything was out. He spat the last one and took a deep breath. He soon became dizzy. His head was spinning and he was afraid he must have swallowed some of the poison. He couldn't believe this was how he was going to die. He slumped beside Yoongi who was unconscious or maybe even dead. He couldn't tell. He just smiled looking up at the night sky.

They would all die and return to a brand new world where everything was different, where they were different. As he felt his eyes closing and his breath giving way, he saw someone standing above him. He recognized that face. It was Jungkook and like always, he was smiling.

Maybe he was already dead and gone to heaven. He took one more breath before darkness finally enveloped him.
