Kartik return home all shattered and sad..his eyes were swollen.. And lips were dry due to constant crying ..He switched on the lights... And his eyes fell on the manly figure sitting in the hall

"What the hell are uh doing in my house Mr Manish Goenka " Kartik shouted

Manish walked towards Kartik... "Kartik beta i m sorry plzz"
Kartik looked away

He cupped his face "Beta uh know na ur dad can't live without uh..uh r my only son...plz come back home" Kartik jerked his hands

"I know dad that uh love me...i know dad..but u to  have done the same with me..am i right....uh snatched my love... And I snatched your son.."kartik said

"Beta plzz dont do this uh know na i love uh son..."

"Love.....son....Where was this  love when u asked me to leave my love... U haven't listened to me at that time...now i won't.. " He said and walked out ignoring the calls of his father

Kartik was walking on the road...all drunk...tears were flowing down his eyes....it's 2 days when Naira left him....since that days he is all like this always drunk...he was walking in middle of road drinking the liquor in his hand...when

"THUD"he got hit by a car ....

The man came out of the car and helped him to stand " Uh.....ok?"he asked
It was Arjit.... He smiled sadly and nodded..

"Why are uh walking on the road like this ...drunk...i mean..ache ghar ke lagte ho.." He said but Kartik didn't answered

"Acha leave all this ...Come I'll drop uh home" Arjit said

"No i can go..thanks for ur help" Kartik said and walked but stumbled Arjit hold him

"Arey I said I'll drop uh... Come" he said and helped him to walk towards the car...But he dozed off near the car..
Arjit sighed and made him sit in the car....and drove

Kartik 's pov:
I opened my eyes slowly to found myself in a room...which place is this i wondered and got up..but again fell ..because of headache due to hangover..."urgh this headache"i cursed

"Drink it ...u will be better" i looked up to found a man there...the same man who helped me..he was offering me Black coffee...i took the cup from him...and took a sip..he sit beside me..."so are uh ok ..now"he asked i nodded he smiled

"Why were uh walking on the road like that ....i mean i know i should not ask..but where is your family i will call them they will come to pick uh up"

"I dont have anyone" i answered

"What...!" He asked confused,frowning

"I dont have anyone for me......i ' m all alone " a tear dropped down my eyes

"I am destined to be alone..." I continued

"Don't say that...i ' m sure there will be someone for uh" he said i smiled sarcastically

We both walked downstairs i looked around there are lots of guests ....some people are running here there..and decorating the place

"Is there any party? " i wondered. But he heard me

"Yess...today is my sis engagement " he said i smiled

(A/N:Kartik haven't seen Naira's brother that is Arjit)

"Congratulations " i said

"Don't congratulate me ....congratulate her" he said and called her

"Naira" i frowned at the name and looked towards her

It was her....it's her engagement... She looked towards us and her facial expressions changed into a shock
..but she managed herself and walked towards us

"Naira.. " Escaped through my mouth

"You know her" Arjit asked but i was so lost in looking at her that i didn't care to answer

"Ji bhai" she asked Arjit without looking at me

"Naira uh know him" he asked

She nodded "Bhai he...he is my classmate " she said i smiled sarcastically

"Ohh" He said

"You guys talk i'll be back" he said and left coz someone had called him

"So  today is your engagement " he asked with pain im his voice she nodded controlling her tears but failed ....Kartik moved forward and wiped her tears

"Why...Naira ...why jab itna bura lag raha hai to kyu kar rhi ho ye engagement" Kartik asked

"Because I don't trust uh anymore..." Naira said making Kartik hurt ..he move backward

"Tumhara kya bharosa ...kal phir tum mujhe chorh do" Naira continued Kartik looked towards her and shook his head in no

"No Naira aisa nhi hai ...." He tried to say

"Aisa hi hai Kartik...and moreover i am not sad ...i am very happy with this engagement... " her voice choked at last but she took a deep breath

"Harshad is mature..handsome ..intelligent a good businessman...my brother's choice and He will never leave me" she continued tears brimmed in Kartik's eyes listening this

"So u r happy with him" Kartik asked Naira nodded he chuckled sarcastically
"Oh ...then congratulations ms murthy" he said and turned to leave

"Kartik" He stopped listening Arjit's voice

"Kartik...where are uh going?" He asked

"Thank you so much Arjit for your help..but i think i should leave" he said

"What...leave?...uh are not going anywhere.. uh have to attend the engagement " Arjit said

"But...."

"No... Uh have to attebd it Kartik...please for your friend sake" he said

"Ok" Kartik said Arjit smiled and hugged him

"Thank you...you go to the room upstairs and rest ..i will call uh when the function will start" Arjit said and turned

"Oh hello..I am not here to take a rest. I will help uh for preparation so tell me what to do '' he said rubbing his hand with fake excitement..

Arjit chuckled"you don't need to "he said

Saanson ke kisi ek mod par
Mili thi tu zindagi
Meri dost ban ke

" but i have will ..now tell me"Kartik answered

Naira just can't controlled her tears and walk from there
"What happened to her" Arjit asked confusingly

Chal diya teri baat maan kar
Tera haath thaam kar
Tujhe saathi chunn ke

"Don't know" He said biting his lips controlling himself from crying ,looking away ...he turned and start setting flower taking out from the basket on the walls tears were flowing from his eyes but he wiped it off and continued his work taking a deep breath

"Kartik...he is Harshad Naira fiance" Arjit introduced Harshad to Kartik...

She was descending down the stairs ...a blissful smile flashed on his face when he saw Naira.  She was looking so beautiful...but it soon fade away when Harshad forwaded her his hand and she took it...

They both walked towards the stage Kartik was looking at them with with pain tears were brimming in his eyes but he controlled it.

They both hold the rings in their hands... Whereas Kartik move backwards not able to see them her turned towards the door when Harshad made her wear the ring ....Naira looked towards him that he was leaving she want to stop him... She was looking towards him only

"Naira made him wear the ring.." Arjit nudged her she fake smiled at him and nodded and slid the ring in his finger

Whereas Kartik stopped feeling the gaze ...but when he saw that she slid the finger in his hand he left from there
