After 5 months.

"hen ill mumma come back ome?" -  shivanya asked her daadi while accompanying her to the temple. as these 5 months become very depressive for shivanya as her father took her mom to abroad for the treatment. even though they were in contact through skype, but shivanya missing them to the core. 

"soon, beta... they will come back with your little sibling... how excited it will be, right" - pinky tried to console her but her mind still surrounds around her mom and dad, she didn't speak afterward. but pinky didn't let her in silent and depressed. she took her to the sai baba idol and said: "you know one magic, he gives you whatever you ask! whatever you want to ask, ask him... he never says no to anyone"

shivanya believed her words, closed her eyes and prayed. it had been 10 mins, pinky didn't want to disturb her prayers, waited for her patiently, and also wondered what can 3 years old soul can ask the god. 

after 15 mins long prayer she opened her eyes, she looked at her granny who waited for her, she smiled at her widely. pinky was confused to see the smile in her face because she didn't smile like this since her parents left for aboard. 

"what happened?" - pinky asked her. 

"i saw aika ith ute lilel baby bather... ( i saw aika with cute little baby brother)" - she said with a cute, never-gonna-fade smile. and surprised pinky to the extent.

she bent upto her level and asked, "that's what you saw?" she nodded and hugged her. meanwhile pinky prayed the god whatever he had shown to her should become true.

In the same while in London, both anika and shivaay was not in good condition having surgery on the next day. both were in a very apprehensive state and chose to hide it from each other. but somewhere in anika's heart, she got the gut-feeling that everything will become alright but she still can't give shivaay the false hope. 

"what happened?" - shivaay asked while giving her the glass full of water for the seventh time in that hour. she took it from his hand with a smile which eventually made him smile at her. 

"nothing just adoring your reddish nose... just like shivanya's when i ask her about the school admission" - anika said in a normal tone. 

"excuse me, darling...  she's my daughter..." - shivaay said while taking the blood pressure checking machine from the table. 

"i know..." - anika said, gave her left hand and let him check her blood pressure rate which was in fluctuate state. 

"110/85... normal... i think..."  - shivaay said in a concerned face. 

"shall i tell you one thing?" - she asked him while pulling him next to her. 

"hmm" - he responded. 

"i love you!" - she said, he smiled.

"i know that!" - he responded. 

"don't get tension, this burden is for this lifetime... maybe for next, maybe for next's next" - anika said while keeping her head on his shoulder. he didn't respond, but a teardrop fell on her forehead. she stopped speaking and stayed in his shoulder in silent. she knew he can't afford to take this risk, but he has to. for a while, their entire life from the moment they saw each other in the campus interview to the moment they were spending now, flashed. if the god appears infront of them, they will just ask one thing, why? why this much struggles in their life? 

"shivaay, i think we should tell our family members about surgery..." - anika said. 

"nope, let it be... neeti is there na..." - shivaay said after a long pause. 

"shall i hug you little tighter?" - shivaay asked, she nodded and he pulled her whole body to him and hugged her tightly. his one hand was holding and another was holding the baby. he told her indirectly that he can't afford to lose anyone. 

"shivaay, just keep one thing in your mind... if my body there or not, my soul will always surround you all the time... nothing to feel lonely..." -anika told where he hugged her even tighter. 

"and we will stay together strong and face it..." - shivaay told thinking about another perspective. 

"always..." - anika said and kissed his cheek. when shivaay was about to kiss each other, they got the call from shivanya. shivaay attended the call. 

"mumma..." - shivanya yelled over the phone. 

"Yeah, baby! tell me... " - anika replied to her while resting her head on his shoulder. 

"i aw wid baby brother..." - she said and surprised both. 

"brother?" - both asked shivanya in chorus. 

shivanya narrated the whole scene whatever happened in the temple to them. it was surprising for both of them and a ray of hope appeared in their life with the hidden message from the god. shivanya asked anika to show her baby brother in the tummy.

"promish me... u ill listen oli my words... not rudy's" (promise me that you will listen to only my words, not rudy)  - shivanya warned her brother which brought a smile in both of their faces. 

"fairy! till you're here... nobody can take me anywhere!" - anika said to shivanya who got confused with her sentence. she looked at her confusingly where anika quickly changed the topic and asked about her usual stuff. she rested the phone call after 30 mins and again surrounds shivaay with anonymous silent. they acted like sleeping in each other embrace and be in the state whole night what the future holds for them. 

 At last, the time came which they don't want to face ever in their life. anika was not ready to leave his hand for a while she was afraid not for the surgery but for the fear of losing him forever. because of that, the nurses have to give her anesthesia a little bit earlier, even in the sober state she was not ready to leave his hand. he felt helpless, but he has to let her go inside alone, one part of him wanted him to fight with everyone and take her with him. but in the same, he don't want to do that. 

"shi..shivaay" - the word she spoke before leaving for the OT banged inside his head for the rest of the 120 mins. he can't think anything. he had no idea when neeti came back from the OT and stood in front of him. 

"shivaay!" - she called him, everything stops for a while when she called him. his heartbeat started to race and his legs were in the state that they may loose control at any point in time. he stood up from his place. 

"it's a boy!" - neeti told, shivaay can't smile, the words, we can save either one of them came to his mind and stopped him from cherishing the happiness. even though there was no courage left in him to ask about anika, he asked.

"say, ani is fine" - shivaay pleaded her. a teardrop fell from her eyes and shown the real hell to him in a couple of seconds.

"with god's graze, she's stable" - neeti said and shivaay found his soul back, he can't control the tears. his emotions were pouring out like a volcano. he cried, he cried while thanking everything, he cried while hugging neeti. but before anyone could stop him, he ran inside the ward. nobody could stop him from reaching her. 

"ani..." - he called her out. even though she can't open her eyes. she opened slightly to make sure, whatever she was hearing is a real thing and not happening in heaven. she literally felt the heaven when she felt his continuous kisses all over her faces. she cried along with him.

"it's a boy..." - shivaay said. her happiness went out of boundaries. she can't believe what she was hearing. 

"where is he?" - anika asked him. 

"incubator!" - shivaay told while hugging her. 

"so," - anika asked him.

"new beginnings?" - he asked her. 

"yes to the new beginnings..." - she replied to him. he smiled at her while hugging her tightly. anika started to cough, and her heartbeat becomes irregular. shivaay immediately broke the hug seeing her sufferings. 

"shi... shi... shivaay" - she held his hand tightly while calling his name where he was rooted in shock.
