"it's not a dream... it's real... fu**ing real" - she exclaimed as soon as omru took shivanya back to her room. shivaay had nothing to say and felt guilty for no reason.

"shivaay..." - tears ran out from her eyes when she saw him standing numbly without any emotions. he tried to move himself out and console her in his arms but he stood numbly looking at with ranging emotions. but she started to move towards him. 

"shivaay, I got enough explanation... but I wanted to hear it from you... this is for real or something else... please tell me..." - she asked him like a puppy when it saw its owner after a long long time. but shivaay neither can't resist himself from hearing her nor speaks anything. his heart got fulfilled to see her in front of his eyes which he thinks only happens in dream.

"shivaay, please speak something... please... I can't able to tolerate this silence... please... you know right, I lost my memory... please... shivaay..." - she cried but then too, he was silent. with no other option left, she held his palm and reach it towards her lips. he hands were trembling on the sudden electrifying effect of her touch. it eventually pulled all his emotions out. he started to feel her touch in every part of his body when he pulled her for a hug. he never hugged to leave her, he hugged her to make her stupid mind to understand what they meant for each other even though they try much to get a part, they can't make it up. destiny makes them face each other multiple times. 

"shivaay..." she started, but he interrupted her with his kiss on her neckline. she understood what he was trying to say and what he don't want to say. even though it looks like a puzzle she doesn't want mess her mind in that. she got what she needs. the reason to live. he didn't say the words I miss you but he conveyed everything to her. 

even though they don't want to leave themselves and wanted to stay in each other arms forever, but they have to break the embrace because clarification is needed. shivaay understood she accepts him as her husband and shivanya as her daughter but her mind needs a clarification for everything. he pulled her away from her. for a while, Anika's heart started to beat fast because of the little separation between them. her heartbeats become normal when he cupped her face with his palms and the tears from his eyes conveyed everything to her. but he wants to talk and she was ready to listen to him even though it doesn't matter to her. 

"Anika..." - he started to speak, her heartfelt sudden relax when she heard her name from his mouth. 

"hmm" - she nodded and begged him inside to keep talking with her till the end.

"I am sorry..." - he said while cupping her face and made her read his eyes in her full consciousness. 

"I shouldn't have let you go that carnival... that's where everything started..." he lied because he don't want any mistakes this time. even though he was telling lies, he's doing for her sake and the unborn's sake. he tried to cuddle the lies in the way she believes them completely.

"there they caught you... and the whole mess, it's all happened because of my foolishness..."  - he said, here he told her the truth. 'they' he meant their bitter memories and they caught her again because of his foolish act. Tears flowed towards his cheeks but Anika wiped it soon.

"business rivals... Anika, hereafter... it won't repeat because I am going to leave everything... I want you more than anything... I don't want anything... I just want you by my side always" - he said and kissed her forehead.

"Promise me... that you never leave me for a while... promise me... please" - he pleaded in front of her holding her palms inside his palms in the scare.

"promise..."- she instantly said and hugged him again. this time, she arrested him, inside her forever in her heart and became capable to do anything for him. even giving up her soul, happiness for him. but his whole happiness surrounds around her. 

"Why didn't you call me, earlier?" - he whispered while burying his face behind her hair lock. it covered his face completely and took him to another world where only he and his love was there. nobody was there to remind her misfortune. nobody was going to be there to separate her from him.

"because I was stupid, trying run away from my shadow... forgetting that as long as light is there in my bright, you will be there with me..." - she whispered-. she heard his chuckle in between his sobs. she smiled when she heard him. 

"You were there with me, right? last night, holding my hands..." - she asked him, but he didn't reply anything. instead, he kissed her on her shoulder, she got her answers.

"pappa" -  shivanya called her dad when he saw him hugging her mom tightly. anika was the one to notice her where shivaay lost his senses in her. he realized shivanya's presence when Anika broke the hug. shivanya ran and shivaay took her in his embrace. 

"o ers on bithday" (no tears on birthdays) - she said and wiped off his tears along with his loneliness. on the other hand, Anika was cherished to see their bond, soon shivanya took her small hands and wiped anika's tears too. the moment she felt she got everything she yearned for. everyone including neethi became emotional to see this reunion. 

"if everything got over, fairy let's cut the cake" - rudy spoke, everyone looked at him and got ready to cut the birthday cake. but Anika can't recognize him, she looked at shivaay. but rudy hurried towards her and introduced himself.

"myself, rudy... short form of Rudra Singh Oberoi... bhaiya's favorite brother and your favorite brother-in-law... I know you forget everything. but we are open to creating new beautiful memories... cute right?" - rudy asked Anika. before Anika could respond she heard a word from shivanya.

"funny" - shivanya started to laugh while cupping her mouth. after her everyone started to laugh along with her.

"you too, brutus" - rudy looked at shivanya with his puppy eyes. om hits his head.

"dumbell, she's a baby, she don't know anything about Shakespeare plays..." - om said while passing his smile to Anika, she smiled back. 

"Welcome back, bhabhi" - om said and hugged Anika. 

"om did you notice? our shivanya spoke funny clearly... shivanya say funny rudy " - shivaay started to tease rudy along with shivanya and om. 

"wow... grouped... everyone grouped against rudy..." - rudy fakely cried. 

"stop teasing my brother-in-law... yeah rudy, you're so cute... I think they need eye check-up, they are failing to see your charms..." - Anika said and took rudy's side. 

"see, fairy... bhabhi is in my side... now, what will you do?" -  rudy asked while side hugging Anika. shivanya looked at shivaay, shivaay understood.

"no... no... not acceptable" - he said while shivanya kissed his cheek and jumped to Anika. 

"rudy is right... you're Brutus..." - om said.

"bhabhi... how can she come to our team without telling the password?" - rudy asked Anika.

"yeah baby, tell the password" - Anika pouted sadly at her.

"paashord" - shivanya pouted sadly at Anika.

"password is cute rudy"  - rudy said while without even hesitating for a while shivanya said and kissed on Anika's cheek. both om and shivaay looked at each other, busted to laugh. along with them, everyone laughed. but pinky excused herself and up to Anika's surprise she cupped her face and said, "finally, Mahalakshmi find her way back home". a lone tear escaped from her eyes and can't resist herself from hugging her. they both hugged crushing shivanya in between. shivanya broke their hug and they both chuckled when shivanya stared angrily at her.

"baby! come to dadi" - pinky widened her hands for shivanya. she nodded no and hugged Anika tightly.  

"don't trouble Mumma... come! forget she's having your brother/sister in her stomach right..." - pinky remained everyone that she's pregnant. 

"sister!" - shivanya looked at Anika and asked. shivaay's heart stopped beating for a while when she takes sister rather than a brother in the fear of Anika getting back her bitter memories.

"yes" - Anika said and kissed shivanya's cheek. 

"how?" - shivanya asks, there were no words left in Anika. shivaay controlled his smile while thinking about the horrible first night when she knew nothing about anything, they didn't even kiss and looked forward to what would she reply to shivanya. anika didn't even look at shivaay's because of the awkwardness created in the air. she felt helpless. but soon the smell of the chocolate truffle cake hits her nose.

"cake" - she whispered without even her knowledge. 

"babies omes fom ake?" - shivanya asked her. everyone laughed, shivaay laughed terribly over the answer but stopped when Anika angrily stared at him. he smiling took shivanya in his arms, held Anika's palms moved towards the cake. 

he took the knife when then he remembered how they happily celebrated 1/2 year with shivanya and Shivani. the cake masked Shivani's smile came before his eyes and stopped him for a while. her smile when she wiped the chocolate sauce from his face came before his eyes and made him very difficult to handle the things. his hands started to shiver when he resisted crying in front of Anika. he literally felt her hands around his neck hugging her. breathe choked for a while. his eyes welled up with tears when he saw her head resting on his shoulder. he was holding her 6 months old daughter in his arms. soon she raised up head, gave her breath-taking smile and kissed him on his cheek. 

"papa" - shivanya called him and he came out of his thoughts, passed a smile at shivanya and Anika like nothing happened. the trio, shivaay, Anika and shivanya cut the cake. anika took the first piece and fed it to shivanya. then she moved her hand towards shivaay and fed him the cake. he smiled and lick the cake from her hand. she felt the electricity in her body but he did that without even his knowledge. he usually takes like this when she feeds him. 

"sorry" - he spoke as soon as he remembered what he did. she smiled where shivanya took another piece and fed it to Anika first and then shivaay. anika carefully noticed how he takes the cake from shivanya. he didn't lick her fingers like he did to Anika. her heartfelt happy when she recognizes she owns his habit. 

whereas shivaay thanked Shivani to surprise him with her mom's visited and thanked for their reunion, he also promised that none can take away her beautiful memory away from him. 

I love you, baby and happy birthday! - shivaay thought while remembering all of her beautiful memory.
