with the help of his detectives, he found anika's residence and moved towards the house while forcefully holding anika's hand. anika tried to protest but he wasn't ready to leave her hand for any cause. he asked his bodyguards to wait at the doorstep and went inside along with anika. he opened the house and found it's empty without any source of entertainment. he understood but anika jerked off his hand, led her way towards the couch and thuds on the couch. shivaay didn't disturb her and straightly went to the rooms, searched for her passport. at last, found it in her cupboard, along with that 6 month's baby's dress fallen off from the cupboard to his hand. 

shivaay becomes literally weak on seeing that dress. clearly shown how much pain she would deal lonely in these 2 years and he also thanked the god to appear her back in his life. he took that folded into four and kept it inside his pocket. he relaxed and moved outside to see her. by then, she dozes off and slept in the couch. he didn't wake her up because he wanted to see her in peace rather than thinking the past and punishing herself. he sat on the floor and tugged her hair behind the ears while slightly brushing her whole face. he was about to kiss her cheeks but stopped thinking that it may disturb her sleep. his gaze moved towards her empty fingers. and think about the most special moment in his life when she completely trusted him and revealed her past to him. 

one fine day anika messaged him to meet her in the Juhu beach, the time was about to knock the midnight. shivaay slightly become anxious about seeing her message, he prepared one surprise for anika that night in her home, but he himself becomes shocked to get the message from her. he quickly took his keys and drove his way towards the Juhu beach and spotted anika sitting in a cement slap and staring the sparkling Arabian sea. she continuously took many deep breaths which conveyed shivaay about her impatient mind. 

he went towards her side and sat next to her while pinching her left shoulder, she hissed in pain. and hit him on his hand with a curve smile in her face, but that smile didn't come from her heart. he decreased the distance between them and wrapped his arms around her shoulders without even knowing the reason behind her sudden disturbance. she raised her head and smiled at him.

"how could you guessed this is what i needed right now?" - anika asked him in a confusion.

"it strikes right here!" - he pointed his finger towards his heart.

"mister, i am your girlfriend now... so stop using these cheesy lines" - she said in a normal tone.

"your smiley face conveyed me... you needed me the most right now... how can i stay away from you?"  - he said while placing her face on his chest and made her listen to his heartbeat. she chuckled.

"what happened? why are you so sad?" - he asked while caressing her arms.

"nothing" - her voice choked and she broke the hug immediately and sat comfortably.

"tell me what happened?" - he asked again, she turned her face and not ready to show his tears to him. he immediately intertwined his hand with her and pulled it to his heart.

"don't avoid me like this... it's paining..." - he said, where she turned her face to him. 

"what happened? why are you crying?" - he asked her while wiping her tears.

"let's end it..." - she said in a choking voice which shook him for a while.

"what... what i can't get it?" - shivaay asked her in a confusing tone, even his mind knew what she meant but his heart was not ready to believe her words.

"our relationship... let's end it here... right now" - she said in a crying tone where tears flowed uncontrollably from her eyes. his heartaches and he was sure in another hand that she was also going in the path like him. 

he wiped her tears and forcefully made her face his face and asked her, "are you mad? intentionally, you are hurting yourself with your own words..." 

this time she can't resist herself from hugging him. she tried a lot to tell him the reason but no words came from her mouth. he pulled her more into him leaving no space between them. even though he was hurt he tried to calm her off first. 

"please... don't do this..." - she whispered by pulling him close to her.

"what?" -  he asked her. 

"you're making me addicted to you... i can't tolerate this... please..." - she cried on his shoulders.

"what!" - he asked her and felt a little bit relieved.

"i don't want to go through that pain again... please... let me go... if i stay with even for a while, i will become completely dependent on you... and it will become very difficult for me to move on... it may also become impossible..."  - she cried while burying her face on his chest, but instead of telling anything he pulled her more close to him.

"let us both become dependent to each other..." - he said and took the ring from his pocket and slipped it in her finger without even asking her wish. she realized what he did and broke the hug in a jerk and shockingly stared him. 

he pulled her towards him and made her hear his heartbeat again where she can't even able to understand what's exactly happening? he relieved and took a deep breath. 

"i though of proposing you romantically but the great anika will always go against shivaay's wish what to do?" - he said in a calm tone but she didn't hug him back.

"you're forgetting something... i am the senior in our love story... so i had already gone through this situation which you're facing now and i also concluded that i completely became dependent to you..." - he said while hugging her. she quickly broke the hug and looked aside. 

"i am wrong! that was not the only thing which is disturbing you... tell me what happened?" -  he asked her and intertwined her hand with him and she held his hand tightly.

"tell me what happened?" - he asked in a very low tone.

"paapa got transferred to kanniyakumari... one day what happened mumma put a sudden rule in our home that she don't cook non-veg especially fish curry on Saturdays... and also resisted pappa to buy it from restaurant... but i threw a tantrum that i want fish curry for dinner, as usual, they didn't permit me... i went to sleep without even looking at them... i locked the door so that they won't sneak in midnight to console me... i woke up early in the morning, one of our maids said that they went to seashore to buy fresh fishes from the market" - anika said in a very low tone. 

"very lovely parents, i promise you i will take care of you like that." - shivaay commented in the middle. she smiled at him and continued the story.

"Unfortunately the date, when they went for the fish market, was 26th December 2004... tsunami..." - anika said while facing him with a calm face. 

"tsunami?" - shivaay asked.

"they were dead! after 2 days they found momma's body but pappa's body was missing and after 1 week we got the news that government finishes daddy's last rituals thinking that he was an orphan..." - anika said in a shivering tone.

"and for my relatives, i become a bad omen... but my daadi stayed with me... before 6 months... she also..." - anika added, by then shivaay kissed her hand and indirectly said that i am there with you.

"you don't need to promise me that you will take care of me like them... but you're much more than them... i feel like a dream, when i spend time with you... but the thing is i can't afford to loose you..."- anika said, where shivaay remained silent and looked at her. 

"let get married!" - the only word came from his mouth. she signed disbelief.

"today" - he said while checking the time it was 12.45 am in the morning and made her stand where she looked stunned. by then anika left his hand in the middle of the road and stared him shockingly. by then a huge truck came in her side, but soon shivaay pulled and hugged her almost immediately.

"DON'T YOU DARE TO LEAVE MY HAND AGAIN..."- he yelled at her almost instantly. a lone tear escaped from her eyes and nodded no to him.

the chain of thoughts broken when he saw anika woke up in a jerk and she was panting to a hell, she cried and her weeps are loud, shivaay can't even able to figure out the reason behind, he tried to hug her but she protested and continuously panting.

"shiv...shiv..." - the only word came from her mouth along with her tears. hearing those words shivaay understood the reason behind and forcefully hugged her. 

"everything is alright... relax...ani" - he said having loads of tears in his eyes. she wanted to bury her face on his shoulder and get hidden from this world but she can't do that. somehow, it reached shivaay's ear and he forcefully made her face bury on his shoulder.

"i love you anika... i can't see you like this... please come back..." - words uttered from his mouth out of pain in his heart. even though anika feels his pain but she was not ready to come back to him.
