They got settled in the car and Neil starts the car while glancing at Avni who was aware of his gaze.. his gaze was making her nervous.

Neil : why did you landed in police station? Do you even realise what trouble you brought for yourself? Since when did you become so speed driver? I have always know you never drove car over the speed limit.... then what made you do today avni.. Avni by any chance if I wasn't there then do you realise what could have happened with me..

Avni : sorry..

She mumbled under her heart but Neil heard it clearly.

Neil : sorry is not accepted Avni.. I really didn't expect this from you.. you could have met with accident... thanks to god you're safe and didn't meet with accident.. next time no harsh driving no matter what happens... okay..

Avni bobbed her head lightly.. Neil then focused on driving.

Neil : where do you want me to drop you? Home or office?

Avni: beach..

Neil : beach? This time!

He was confused by her answer..

Avni : yes beach... I want to be alone for sometimes... please drop me to beach..

Neil found some serious in her voice. He didn't ask any further questions but took left towards beach..

He stopped near beach and looks at avni.

Neil : should I company you?

Avni : I won't mind..

Neil : okay.. then you go ahead.. I'll come once park the car..

Neil was driving Avni's car which was brought to police station by one of the constable.. Neil's car was sent to home..

Avni nodding her head moves to beach.. whereas Neil parking the car calls swetha to inform he won't be able to make it for lunch...

Neil ending the call comes out the car and took his shoes off.. he kept it back in the car.. he then rolled his jeans up till his knees..

He then holding his phone in his left hand walks to beach.. he saw avni sitting near the water and dipping her legs into water.. he moves to her and calls her name out.

Neil: avni... may I sit beside you?

Avni turning her face side away looks at him then nodded her head.. Neil sat down and looks at her who looked lost and staring the sea wave...

Neil : avni is there something bothering you? I mean you look lost... and you landed in police station that's usually of you... you can share it me... I won't judge you.. you can share it if sharing helps you..

Avni : what's the point sharing Neil? How can I share something to person who I'm confuse about? How can I Neil?

Neil was totally confused by words but knew something relating him was bothering her.

Neil : I don't get what you mean avni.

Avni: you won't get it Neil... please give me some alone time.. don't ask me anything... I want you observe the silence..

Neil kept quiet and comfortable sat down with his legs dipping in the sea water.. even he starts staring the wave in silent..

Neil's phone rang breaking the silence.. Neil took his phone out and saw neha calling him.. he glancing at avni picks the call up.

Neil : hello neha..

Neha : Bhai.. where are you?

Neil : didn't I tell where I was going neha?

Neha : yeah I know Bhai.when you will come  back home?

Neil :  I'll be home after an hour later... what do you want?

Neha : I don't want nothing but you need to come home quickly.

Neil : why do I need to be home quickly? What's wrong at home? Am I expecting someone?

Neha : short off..

Neil : who is coming home neha?

Neha : I don't know who for coming but Juhi Di said that she wants you home before they come.

Neil : juhi said... oh god what's happening in her head.. listen I have work so I don't know when I'll be back home.

Neha : Bhai you can't do this.. please come home..

Neil : I'll see.. now hang the call up..

Neha : okay bye!

Neil ended the call and looks at Avni who pretend to watch the sea wave but her ears heard each words of Neil's..

Neil : avni.... how long you will stay here? I mean....

Avni : if you have some important work then you can leave Neil.. I'm not stopping you.. you can go..

Neil: that's not what I mean avni... you know I don't leave you alone..

Avni didn't say anything but stares the wave thinking deeply..

Avni : Neil...

Neil : hmm...

Avni : I'll drop you home... I mean I just remembered I have some work pending.. since you don't have car with you.. I'll drop you to khanna mansion.. come...

She stood up and starts walking to her leaving Neil startled there. Neil himself stood up and thought.

Neil ( mind) something is definitely bothering you avni but what.. what should I do to know what's worrying you? Why can't you share your problems with me like before Avni?

Neil sighing follows avni.. he saw avni sitting on driver seat and waiting for him.. Neil went to his side and sat down.. avni without saying a word starts driving to khanna mansion..

Avni dropping Neil at khanna mansion immediately zoomed out of there before Neil could stop her..

Neil shaking his head in worry walks inside the mansion...as Neil enters inside he saw Bebe and swetha talking and watching tv.. he passing them hello moves to his room..

He went to his room and got change into comfortable clothes... he thought to take rest... he laid down on bed and immediately sleep over took him.

Whereas avni drove back to office.. she thought to attend some meeting to divert herself...

In the night at khanna mansion..

After dinner Neil was thinking about Avni's strange behaviour all day.. he wasn't able to conclude what could have happened that made avni behave differently..

He was in his lost that didn't realise when his room flung opens... he diverted his eyes and looks at the person.. he sat on bed and rested his head on headboard.

Neil : neha why aren't you sleeping?

Neha : I wasn't feeling sleepy Bhai.. but I can ask you same question.. why are you still awake?

Neha sat beside Neil and looks at him.

Neil : I don't know neha... I don't know why I messed things up between me and Avni... she behaves so strange with me.. I don't know why did I confess before I left.... I don't know what should I do to make avni talk to me...

Neha : Bhai do you regret confessing to her?

Neil : no I don't... but things between us is getting complication... she behaves strange... I don't know what should I do to bring old avni back.. I don't know..

Neha : what have thought next? What are you doing to?

Neil : I'm not sure...

Neha : Bhai just give some time.. everything will fall right on correct time... maybe she is confused herself.. I think you should sleep and forget what happened today... start new fresh day tomorrow..

Neil : maybe you're right neha.... I should wait..

Neha : good night Bhai..

Neil : good night neha..

Neha left the room while Neil laid back on bed and closing his eyes tried sleeping dimming the lights of his room..

In Metha mansion..

The situation was different.. avni was sitting in her balcony with cup of coffee in her hand.. she was sipping and thinking about her life.. then Neil's proposal.. his friends adamant bringing someone in Neil's life.. everything was making her head to blast anytime..

She looks at the sky when she felt someone voice.. she opens her eyes and saw her own reflection..

Reflection: avni think from you heart... listen to your heart.

The reflection faded away leaving avni in thoughts... avni kept the cup down and closing her eyes she kept her hand on her heart... her lips curved into smile once she found the answer what her hearts wants to her to do..

Avni opens her eyes and looks at the sky..

Avni : thank you... star... you again showed me away.. thank you so much..

Avni brightly smiled and thought how to execute her plan..

Next morning Avni woke up and got freshened up.. she got ready to leave for her office.

Avni wearing her watch and picking file up walks downstairs with her bag..

She saw everyone sitting in hall..

Avni : good morning everyone..

Neela : good morning princess... come sit here..

Avni sat down next to Neela and looks at everyone.

Avni : I want to say something...

All of them looks at her then nodded their head to continue.. avni fiddling her fingers told them while everyone was shocked...

Ashish : princess are you sure about this?

Avni : yes papa.. I'm sure about this..

Neela : if that's what you want then we don't have any problem with that.. right maa..

Dayavnti : yes Neela.. we don't have any problem... if avni is happy with her decision then we can't stop her.. we won't stop you beta.. you do what you want.. our support is with you always..

Avni : thank you Dadi... you're best..

Avni said kissing her cheek and looks at Neela.

Avni : maa can I get food please?

Neela : I'm so happy today... I'll make you eat by my hands.. come with me.

Avni happily went to dining table and sat down while Neela filled the plate and starts feeding avni.. Neela in between kissed Avni's forehead..

Avni after breakfast left for office.. even Ashish left after avni..

In khanna mansion..

Neil was having breakfast with his family when Bebe asked something to Neil to which he chocked himself..

Bebe : tillu do you have any girlfriend?

Neil starts coughing.. swetha nect to him rubbed his back and passed him glass of water..

Neil calmed himself and looks at Bebe..

Neil : Bebe what are you saying?

Bebe : I said are you in relationship or have fallen in love with girl yet?

Neil : woh Bebe... I haven't...

Neil immediately lied because his love is one sided only.. he can't let them know about his feelings towards avni..

Bebe : that's good... I have one girl in my head..

Neil : Bebe please.. stop talking about girls... I don't want marry anyone..

Bebe : when did I say to marry them? I'm just saying to try falling love with one of them.

Neil : Bebe I don't want fall in love with anyone.. mom I'm leaving now..

Neil rushed out of there leaving Bebe in thoughts and others confuse expect Neha who was thinking why did Bebe brought this topic.. neha chucking her thoughts continued eating..

Neil drove to police station and met the senior officer who introduced everyone to Neil.. Neil met his team who would be working with abs leading..

Neil was escorted to his cabin.. Neil settled in the cabin and took file which he had to work on.. he starts reading the file... after few minutes later he closed the file and called one of the constables...

Neil : get jeep ready...

The constables nodding his head left the cabin while Neil took his phone and file with him... he moves to senior officer cabin and told him about the case.

Talking to senior officer Neil moves out of station and sat in the jeep.. he sat on passenger seat and constable starts driving the jeep as he got permission from Neil.

Neil : stop the jeep here..

Constable stops the car and looks at the big building..

Neil : stay here till I come back..

Constable : okay sir..

Neil comes out of the jeep and walks inside the building.. Neil moves inside the building only fine many gazes on him... he ignoring the gaze moves inside and knocks the cabin..

Neil enters in the cabin as he heard come in..

Neil : Mr Ashish Metha..

Ashish looks up from the file and hit shocked seeing Neil in police uniform..

Ashish : Neil what are you doing here? I mean what made you come here?

Neil : I have no right to come like this but as police officer I do.. this should be confidential conversation between us uncle..

Ashish : come inside officer and have seat..

Neil sat down and passed the file to Ashish which Neil brought with him...

Ashish went through the file and got shocked reading the file..

Ashish : Neil how did this happen? I wasn't aware of this...

Neil : that's investigating job uncle... no one knows expect the person who is plotting against you and your company... this case registered three months back before I have joined into department... luckily I'm charge of this case to which I have to interrogate you...

Ashish shockingly sat on his chair and gulped full glass of water..

Ashish : Neil before you ask any questions... I want you to see CTV camera... that would be biggest evidence for this case..

Neil : I'll check the CTV camera too but I need some answers of my questions..

Ashish nodded his head..

Neil : do you have any suspect you think could have done it?

Ashish : no Neil.. as I said before I wasn't aware of this.. I don't think any employers in my office would go against me or my company.

Neil : who else is in charge of the company? I mean is anyone else appointed for position...

Ashish : we have few post but they are very royal to work and the company.. I can't doubt them..

Neil : this is case doesn't look simple to solve.. there is no evidence against the person who had filled case against the company.. but I'll find the person soon..

Ashish : Neil what do you think? Who could do this?

Neil : it could be anyone uncle.. it could be anyone.. I'll study the case more and let you know all the updates.. and please don't share all this to anyone not even  avni... this should be confidential between us... and uncle don't stress... whoever filled case against the company will be exposed front of you and everyone else who works here.. I should leave now..

Ashish : okay.. I'll not inform anyone.. come I'll drop you out..

Neil : uncle that is not needed.. I'll leave now.. bye..

Ashish : bye Neil.. and please giving me the updates. Z

Neil nodding his head left Ashish cabin only to get bump someone..

The file from his hand while he fell on the ground with person on top of him.. hearing the sound even Ashish comes out and saw them... everyone gathered up and starts gossiping up.. Neil looks at the person who closed eyes in fear... he smiles seeing the innocent front of him..

Neil : Avni.. open up your eyes..

Neil whispers in to her... Avni's hair was covering them.. avni hearing Neil's voices opens her eyes and looks at him shockingly... she took minute realise their position... she immediately stood up and left from there... as she left Ashish shouted at the employers and told them to get back to work.. Neil stood up and picked the file up..

He left the office before Ashish could stop him... Ashish confusingly moves back to his cabin and starts working...
