I can't believe their dead, I just want to refuse the whole idea, to go on in my life. My parents are gone, and i just don't listen, I feel as if I can't go on without them. It's only been three weeks, since the crash....since.....I can't even bring myself to say it. I feel like crying, I want to cry. I now live at my aunt Lilly's house in Spencer with my 18 year-old brother Hasten. Today is October 12, my first day at Spencer High, and not to mention a monday.....uhhhhh mondays! I slowly got out of my bed and walked to my dresser and pulled out a purple v-neck with short sleeves, a pair of black skinny jeans, and a old blue hoodie. I pulled on my shirt and pants, but hesitated to put on the hoodie... it used to be my mother's. I felt the soft fabric and it comforted me so I slipped it on over my head. " Hurry up, or we will be late!" That would be Hasten. "shaaddupp!" I rolled my eyes and ran down the stairs. I got to the kitchen, and sat down at the dinner table.

I ate some Lucky Charms and put my dishes in the sink. Aunt Lilly came out if nowhere and gave me a big hug. "Help me!!!" I looked at Hasten with a pleading look. He just laughed, so I flipped him the bird.  He mouthed" Screw you!" and I gave him a death glare.  I am usually fine with hugs, but Aunt Lilly is a different story. She is rather largely built and wears WAY TOO MUCH perfume, and gives rib-crushing hugs. I weezed, having  difficulty breathing. She finally let me go, and walked over to Hasten. Aunt Lilly successfuly wrapped her long arms around Hasten while he was struggling to get air.

I laughed and stuck my tongue out at him, and was rewarded with a death glare. Aunt Lilly let go of Hasten and smiled. "Now I won't be home till around 11:00 ish, because I am one of the three nurses that are working tonight." We both nodded. She worked at the Spencer hospital, and she was a nurse practitioner.
