Chia pov

After getting ready all boys gone to stadium for practice and we accompanied them. They did their warm up.  Then there was a warm up match between india vs Australia u 19 team. .

India won the toss and prithvi choose batting first.  After some time shubman and prithvi  came to open.  Prithvi was playing good whereas shubman was trying hard to hit but ball was going to fielders.  He got frustrated . He then thought to hit big shot instead of playing ground and on very next ball he hit ball on air.  It caught by fielder.  He got out on very low score.  He is so disappointed with his performance and this was clearly shown on his face.  Me and arshu are in shock as he hot out early.  Arshu was Mummering something.  Prithvi make good runs along with mandeep and complete his century.  After that he got out and two more wickets gone early.  It was now abhay who is going on crease. 

Abhay please acha khelna - I whisper slowly and cross my fingers.  Abhay was litterly on fire and India set a good target for defend. Now it's time for second inning. 

India pic two early wickets but then it gonna good partnership for third wicket when abhay came for bowling.  He threw his first over maiden.  In his second over he pic two wickets and both settled batsman gone back to dough out  Now there is two new batsman.  India put pressure on them not giving single to them as per their strategy.  Soon batsman do what we want. They threw away their wickets in processing of hitting big shot.  We won this match.  Through its just practice match but it's important as to see their preparation for World Cup. 

After ending of match we two reached dressing room where we see all happy faces.  They were celebrating like they won worldcup . Soon we headed to hotel back. 

I wanted to say congratulation to abhay but not getting opportunity.  As soon all started going in room I came to his room.  I knocked on gate but no voice came so I open gate a bit . I couldn't find him.  I enter in room and  he was nowwhere to see . I was about to go back when hear sound of opening gate.  I turn and found him standing there. My breath stop seeing him  . He is looking damm hot in black T-shirt.  I was drooling over his features. 

Hiii chia - he said and with this I came out from my thoughts.  I blushed as seeing him smirk. 

Agar checkout kar liya ho to andar aa sakti ho - he teased and my cheeks turn red. 

Come - he point toward empty sofa beside him.  I sat beside him. 

Wo me bas tumhe congratulation kehne aayi thi - i spoke with difficulty as it's really difficult to behave normal when he is in front of me. 

Thanks chia! You know I was so nervous at first but in my mind there is only one thing that I have to play for my country and for my family - he replied chirpy.  I smiled looking at his happy face. Abhay was talking about match and all.  I was just listening him as he was so excited for upcoming matches. 

Arshita pov

Shubi got out on very low score.  He was so sad while he coming back pavilion.  I don't know but i was feeling bad to seeing him like this.  After his dismissal prithvi and mandy does great partnership.  Abhay was  on fire at last. He smashed big shots but i can't over from that face of shubi.  We won match and then we go to dressing room.  Shubi was there with smile but i know he was faking.  He is upset with his performance and definitely feeling low.  I thought to talk to him after reaching hotel.  After reaching hotel all moved to their respective rooms. I was about to go to shubi room when chia called me so I gone to her. 

After dinner shubi said he is going out to garden for walk. Yess!  Perfect opportunity to talk to him.  I make a excuse to chia and abhay and left from there.  I found shubi was sitting on a bench and lost in his own thoughts.  I kept my hand on his shoulder.  He looked up and find me.  He gave a smile . I sat beside him .

Why are you here - he asked. 

Kyu me nahi aa sakti yaha - I replied. 

I didn't mean that - he flattered. 

Why are you so upset shubi?  It's just a practice match - I asked straight to him. He stared at me for few seconds then turn his face saying - I am not.

Such a lier!  I can see that - I replied. 

Then you need to go for your eyes check up - he said in mocking tone. 

Ohh hello!  My eyes are perfectly fine, you need to check your mind first huhhhhh - I snapped at him. 

Arshu please yaar me abhi ladne ke mood me bilkul nahi hu, leave me alone - he said frustrated. 

I know you are upset about your today's  performance and you are thinking that you are not so good player - i replied looking at him keenly observing his expression.  He stared at me blankly then again turn his face saying - how you know what I am thinking? 

Well I know you since our childhood shubi and I can know what's going on your mind - i replied softly .

Me practice match me acha nahi khel paya to tournament me to sawal hi nahi, I don't think I am a better player.  I can't play good for my country.  People have lots of expectation from me and from team too.  Even vee bhai also.  I am gonna letting them down - shubi poured his heart out and kept his head between his hands. 

Ohhh god kitna sochte ho tum!  Bina dimag ke koi insan itna kaisa soch sakta, i just can't get it - i replied teasingly.  Shubi give her " Not so funny " Look. 

Shub you are lacking of confidence that's it. One match can't describe that you are good player or not.  Form is temporary you also that na.  You have to keep your confidence boost.  Or rahi baat logo ki to unki parwaah nahi kroge to hi behtar rhega, you know that too they are with you in your good days but if you can't score run in a single match that people criticize you.  You have to play for yourself and for country only - I explain him and he was listen to her silently.  He felt good after listening me. 

Mujhe nahi pta tha tere jaisi beakal insaan itni achi baatein kar sakti hai - he teased me. 

Hawww! You are so bad shub - I hit him on his chest . He laughed and hugged me tightly. "  Thank you - he said in hug "

Shub I can't take breath - I whined . "Acha hai na dharti ka bojh thoda kam ho jayega - he teased "

Shut up you idiot - I again hit him and he laughed. 

Acha let's go in - he said standing up and we headed back to our rooms.
