Hello!

Wow.

I can't quite believe I'm writing this, preparing to publish a story that is filled with characters I've lived with for months. Growing them, nurturing them, loving them. They are now going to be out there, for anyone to find, to relate to, to love, to appreciate, perhaps even grow some negative feelings toward? That's crazy.

But before any of that good stuff can happen, I just wanted to say a couple of things.

First of all, thank you for your patience. This story has been in the works for absolute months simply because I wanted to try something new. That being writing the whole story then publishing everything in one go. This meant I was going to give my full attention to this story and leave my others to rest for a while. Being used to the 'write a chapter and publish right away' approach, it proved quite difficult to not follow that process with this book. Saying that, it built up a lot of excitement in me to finally get to the point where I can just click publish on every chapter and see what everyone thinks. It's certainly exciting and this actually leads me to my next point.

I love hearing from you guys! A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into this and whilst I am happy with the way things turned out, I would love to know your thoughts and opinions on everything. Although writing is a lot of fun, it can take hours and sometimes even days, to write a chapter so it'd be really nice to hear what your thoughts are! We could have a little chat in the midst of all the chaos that Griffin and Harry will be going through because I may or may not have given them a little taster of hell. <3

Now, a little bit about this story.

1. There will be mentions of alcohol, drugs, sex, death and foul language is used. These may trigger some people. If you are not comfortable with any of those, I completely understand and you do not have to continue reading.

2. I planned the story to be a slowburn (who knows if that worked) which indicates that the main characters will not be kissing in chapter 5. If that's what you're expecting... well, don't.

3. Although the chapters are divided into two acts, it is one story. There is a large time jump which made this possible.

4. This is an AU so I have created and therefore own all of the characters that appear, and plots that occur throughout the book. There may be characters who share some physical similarities with people we know in real life but that is all they have in common.

5. Finally, although I've read over the story a good few times, there may be random typos that I've missed. Please do excuse that.

And because it's been such a long process and I know how much of a pain in the ass I have been, I'd like to thank a few people for tolerating that and helping me work through this. Olivia. Sarah. Kristiana. Lyndsay. Thank you for listening to all my moaning and for all of your support and encouragement from start to finish. It's been a pleasure, ladies. 😋
