9 🐺

The next morning, Jin woke up late. He went to sleep early last night, so it surprised him when he woke up at 12:00 P.M. His mother had called him a few times but decided to let him sleep for a while more.

After all, she didn't know her son had sexual activities with Namjoon yesterday. She just thought Jin was tired from all of the games he played with his neighbor.

Jin got up and went straight to the bathroom. He took a shower the moment he walked in, feeling a sticky residue on him.

The warm water cascading down his back made him feel very relaxed. He started to play with it, splashing water all over himself, then he focused on pouring body wash over his arms and the rest of his body.

His morning started off normal. For now, at least.

The fox made his way back to his room, taking his bathrobe off to put his casual wear on.

He heard his notifications go off the minute he put his shirt on.

Namjoon: [Good morning, Jin. How do you feel?]

Jin: [I'm very well, how are you doing? Did you injure yourself by any chance, yesterday?]

Namjoon: [At first. I'm still walking a little bit funny, but I'm more concerned about you. Are you okay?]

Jin: [I'm totally fine, but... There is one thing bothering me.]

Namjoon: [What's that?]

Jin pouted, looking at Namjoon's icon on his phone while texting back.

Jin: [I miss you, Joonie :( I want to see you again!]

Namjoon: [Of course we can. Let's see each other right now. Are you free to see me in my house?] Jin thought about it for a while.

Namjoon had escaped his house to see him once, so why couldn't he do the same? He thought.

The more he thought about it, the more the fox became fond of the idea.

Jin: [I'm on my way.] He sent his text while pulling a shirt over this head. He tied his shoes and spritz perfume all over him, feeling better than before.

Seeing Namjoon the day after their ecstatic night yesterday was probably the best thing to do. This way, they wouldn't lose contact and stick together... But not as stuck as they were yesterday.

Jin threw a hoodie on and blue ripped jeans, walking out of the front door when he saw that his parents were still asleep in their bed. He thanked Karaoke Night for making his mom and dad so sleepy, just so he could leave the house easier.

But the fox thought beforehand and stuffed his bed with pillows to make believe that he was still sleeping, closing the door to his room, then locking the front door.

He could think of an excuse to get back into his apartment later on, right now he was currently worried about how to make it to Namjoon's house without getting caught by his parents.

Jin: [I'm here, Joonie! Can you help me up?] Namjoon looked out of his window and helped Jin up.

They became glued to each other, with their clothes on this time. The reason they were stuck this time was due to their tight embrace. Jin loved being in Namjoon's arms, he missed feeling the wolf's warmth.

Namjoon ran his hand throughout the fox's soft hair, taking his hoodie off. Jin realized that the boy didn't have a shirt on. He didn't mind it, though.

All they wanted was their physical contact and soft touch. "That was one hell of a night, wasn't it?" Namjoon asked, referring to their sexual activities.

"Oh, yeah. How soon can we do it again?" Jin joked, laughing, making the wolf laugh as well.

"Namjoon!" Namjoon's mom entered his room, startling the hybrids. Jin turned into a fox
in order to hide underneath Namjoon's bed while the wolf fixed himself and wiped his lips, brushing his hair back.

"I'm sorry for startling you, son. Were you sleeping?"

"No, I just woke up a few minutes ago." Namjoon innocently smiled. His mother nodded.

"What's that underneath you?" She noticed a yellow piece of clothing beneath Namjoon. The hoodie he was covering so much ended up getting exposed.

"You don't own anything yellow. You don't like yellow..." She became very suspicious.

"Namjoon, who else is in here with you?" His heart raced as his mother turned into a detective, trying to protect her son, thinking he had someone over.

"That's where Jin is. No, no, no!" As she was going to look underneath the bed, Namjoon screamed.

"Namjoon?! What happened, honey? Are you okay?" Now that he gathered up his mom's attention, the wolf had to think of something to say.

He couldn't stutter, or else she would become suspicious and know that he was lying.

"You stepped on my tail! It hurts..." He dragged his tail to his hands, showing it to her. His mother felt guilty, apologizing for stepping on her son's tail, even though it was all a lie.

Namjoon had no choice: If she would have found Jin, then the fox would feel so scared and embarrassed, he wouldn't visit him ever again.

"Let me get you some ice, I'll be right back." Namjoon felt a weight get lifted off of his shoulders when his mom left his room.

Jin quickly came out from underneath Namjoon's bed, shaking himself off.

"Jinnie, she'll be back in a few seconds. You can't hide for long, either. Your parents will get worried and start to suspect that you left when they don't find you home."

It was sad, but Namjoon was telling the truth. And Jin knew it, yet he didn't want to leave Namjoon's side. He enjoyed being with the wolf so much.

"Jinnie doesn't want to leave you, master!" Namjoon furrowed his eyebrows at the nickname.

"Master?" Jin nodded, confirming what he had said was correct.

"You're Jinnie's master now. I love you!" Namjoon blushed, hugging Jin again. How can he not adore that fox? He's just too precious.

"Come on, let's go downstairs." He grabbed Jin's hand.

"What are you doing, Namjoon? They're going to see me!" Jin frowned.

"I don't want to hide you anymore. Just let them know you're a hybrid like me, okay?"

The idea Namjoon had in mind sounded great, but Jin still had his doubts and felt scared.

Namjoon cupped his face.

"They don't have to know about us. We'll keep this relationship a secret." The wolf's words made Jin sigh.

"Alright, I'll go downstairs... But let me put my hoodie back on. And you need a shirt." Jin winked, staring down at Namjoon's bare chest. They went back to Namjoon's room and put their shirts back on.

Jin held Namjoon's hand, walking behind him to keep himself hidden. He wasn't that confident, but he was willing to do anything for his partner, and he knew that this would make their bond stronger.

"JIN! Oh, there you are!! Don't scare me like that ever again!!" Jin's parents were there.

Hearing them shout at him like this made the boy feel intimidated. He didn't even want to turn into a fox, but Namjoon helped him. He gave him a reassuring look.

Namjoon was the first to turn into a wolf, surprising his parents. To them, Namjoon was always a shy wolf who never wanted to expose his true self to anyone.

Jin's parents on the other hand were devastated by his son's decision.

"Jin, why would you do this?" His mother was on the verge of tears. She worried about her son's safety.

"Mom, Joonie is like me! Look!" Both of the boys parents settled down once they saw how happy their sons were, knowing they weren't alone in the world.

Soon, Jin's mother explained to Namjoon's parents why her and Jin's dad decided to keep him a secret.

"Jin's special needs and hyperactive behavior was intolerable for most of his teachers, that I had to homeschool him from kindergarten up until he graduated.

He spent most of his life without friends, and only had his father and I. We took care of our Seokjin more than anything, but sometimes he would want to go out and make new friends. But things never worked out because he would get in trouble ever so often." She said.

Namjoon's parents and Namjoon carefully listened.

"And because of how polite he is, his politeness can often get taken the wrong way. Some people used to take advantage of him and use our son. His feelings have been hurt before
which is why I don't want him to end up hurt again. I love my Seokjinnie." She held her son in her lap as he was still in the form of a fox.

He curled up in her lap, staring at Namjoon with glossy eyes. Jin felt embarrassed that they knew the truth about him now, he couldn't even bare to look at Namjoon in the eyes
his parents, or his own parents.

All he wanted to do was leave, but he felt restrained.

"Well, I think it's best that we get going now. Jinnie, say goodbye to your friend." His heart
sank when he had to leave Namjoon. He knew how strict his parents were of him leaving the house without permission, this left Jin with the fear of never getting to see Namjoon ever again.

"Bye, Joonie." He still smiled so brightly, holding his tears deep within. The feeling in his chest was invading his lungs, making it hard for the fox to breathe as Namjoon gave him a hug.

Namjoon could sense Jin's sadness, feeling sorry for him. He didn't want things to end up this way, but he isn't a medium, so he couldn't predict that this was going to happen.

Jin's eyes felt heavy, just like his heart did, the moment he walked away from Namjoon's house, leaving the wolf behind.

He heard faint cries coming from Namjoon, cries that only a hybrid could listen to.

Namjoon knew this was his fault for telling Jin to visit him. He would never forgive himself for losing his only best friend and first love.

How blind and cruel can a human be?

How coldhearted were their parents to not comprehend how important Jin and Namjoon were to each other.

"I should have stayed home... I'm sorry, Namjoon."
