Namjoon headed out to change into his clothing and when he slipped on a single pair of his black ripped jeans, they immediately fell down halfway.
A regular medium-sized jacket now fit him as if it was a size XS.
Having spent almost an entire month without eating, lead Namjoon to suffer extreme weight loss and gain fatigue.
He was very tired, deprived of sleep, and mentally exhausted.
The man wasn't worried about his physical health at the moment, however.
What mattered most to him now, was finding the fastest way of getting to Jin.
"Hey!" Just as he was about to exit, a police guard headed back then shouted at him while
holding something in his hands.
"Don't leave without these." He handed Namjoon his license and the keys to his car.
"Thank you so much." Namjoon spoke.
As he was escorted out of the dark prison, he felt a heaviness in his chest once more, leaving behind his best friend.
"We'll meet again soon, Chulmoon." Having promised to visit Chulmoon, Namjoon left with a smile on his face.
When the light hit him on the way out, seeing the sun shining so bright along with the breathable air made the boy feel free, but caged all at once.
He was finally free, but his emotions were never the same again.
Neither was was physical and mental state. Namjoon should be heading home to get some rest, but instead he was rushing to the nearest hospital he could find, hoping that Jin was there, safe and alive.

Namjoon's hands were extremely shaky. His intestines were fighting to the death from within him as his hunger increased by the minute.
He had been starving for what seemed to him like an eternity. The day he was going to have a peaceful and normal feast was the day he ended up murdering those men who vandalized his car.
Speaking of which, his car still had the cruel granster's mark on it, with their graffiti and a few broken windows.
That was left on as a reminder of what he had done. Namjoon wanted it off of his car immediately, but the first thing he did was head directly towards the hospital.
There were barely any people around, so it was easier for Namjoon to remain unrecognized for now.
As he made it inside, he spotted a single face he actually recognized.
"Cat-man?" He rushed over to Chanyeol, who was sitting next to an unknown, young looking boy.
Namjoon and him greeted in a formal way, acting like mature and responsible adults.
"Where is he..." He asked the boy, as both he and the other boy stared at Namjoon as if they were staring at a ghost.
"You're alive!!" A young, reddish haired boy took Namjoon by surprise when he hugged him.
"Who are you?"
"My name is Jungkook... I'm Jin's best friend." Namjoon wondered why a young boy named Jungkook was so overly attached to him if he didn't even know who he was.
"Do you know where Jin is?" Namjoon asked, worried.
"We don't know yet, Namjoon." Chanyeol spoke.
"You don't know where he is...?"
"No. It's not that. We know which room he's in and everything, but the thing is that Jin doesn't want to see either one of us."
When Jungkook and Chanyeol explained what had happened with Jin, Namjoon never imagined that the fox would still attempt to commit suicide, having saved him from death once.
"He's over there in room 29, if you were wondering." Namjoon took off at the speed of light, leaving Chanyeol and Jungkook behind.
Room twenty nine wasn't far away, but the wolf barely had enough energy in him to even make it to room five.
He felt as if he was going to give out at any given moment. He was out of breath just by running from the waiting room to a restroom that was like a mile away from where he just was.
Though weak, Namjoon made it to the room Chanyeol and Jungkook had told him about, and slowly opened the door, making his way inside.
There was a slightly long hallway just to get to where Jin was. When Namjoon walked in, he was unsure of what he was going to see at first sight, so he was unprepared for the following images his eyes witnessed.
A beautiful scenery from inside of a bright, yet isolated, hospital room.
A single brown, leather couch.
One medium sized television, playing in the background.
The scent of hand sanitizer and clorox filled up in his lungs.
The sound of a heart monitor, echoing around the room.
Such a beautiful scenery outside of one out of the three long windows...
All but one, which was opened and right next to it stood a tall, dark silhouette of a man.
A man who was about to jump out of the building he was in.
Namjoon caught every detail of the man from head to toe.
"Grey dusty hair.
Soft hands.
Pointy ears.
A long bushy tail.
Kim Seokjin..." Jin was about to jump out of the window.
Namjoon didn't have time to catch him, so he did the first thing he could think of and banged loudly on the counter, connected to a sink.
It startled the fox, making him bolt back into the room.
When he spun around and was met with a pair of glossy eyes, his own began to well up.
He thought he was just imagining the man in front of him, but as the man approached him, taking slow steps at first, then running towards him, Jin ran right into his arms.
The two fell to the floor from their huge embrace, impacting their bodies so suddenly.
The embrace Jin had been longing for so many days.
Feeling his touch. Hearing his soft voice. Being in his arms again.
The boy was overwhelmed with emotions. He was sobbing with an uncontrollable shake in his body, not wanting to let go of Namjoon for anything in the world, with the fear of waking up in the same bridge he was in before, losing the man in front of him.
Jin's heart wouldn't be able to sustain the heartache and agonizing pain of losing Namjoon again.
With what little bit of energy left in Namjoon, he carried Jin in his arms and rested him back on the hospital bed, lying down next to him.
They didn't have to say a word to each other. Their own body language was enough for the both of them to understand the pain they both endured for so long.
Their bodies expressed the pain within each cry of sadness one would blurt out in the form of tears and or a small yelp.
As the two tangled themselves up in their own bodies, pulling the thin hospital bedsheets over them, Namjoon and Jin fell asleep within a matter of seconds, holding onto each other like tomorrow wasn't promised.
As if they were going to lose each other again.
They held on even in their deepest sleep.

"Shh! Don't make noise, I'm trying to pull the covers over them again." Jungkook whispered at Chanyeol as he slowly grabbed the hospital bedsheets, flinging them over Namjoon and Jin's body.
"They're- t-they're so cute together, Kookie." The older wouldn't stop crying.
"I agree. Look at how adorable they look, long-eared Hyung!"
"Yeah, I know- What did you call me, you dumb ding dong dog?!" Their bickering seemed to be waking up Namjoon and Jin, who were whining.
"Go diss each other somewhere else!" Namjoon complained.
"Go dong each other outside of the room, please!" Jin followed behind, making the youngers flinch.
"DONG EACH OTHER!?!" Chanyeol and Jungkook started coughing, choking on their own spit.
"Oww, it hurts to laugh, babe." Namjoon spoke, holding his stomach while Jin wrapped his arms back around his waist, laughing along with him.
"It hurts more to live without you. I'll keep you by my side this time, Namjoon. I promise."
"No one will ever hurt you again, Jin. We'll stay together no matter what."
As if the hybrids read each other's minds, their lips connected like a missing piece of a puzzle.
They intertwined hands, savoring the moment as if it was their last.
